Stayed Jan 9, 2026The views from this cabin are amazing - from bedrooms and porches. The hot tub was great and we all got a lot of use out of it. The game area needs a little attention - there was only one actual dart and the arcade game didn’t work. We did enjoy the pool table. The biggest issue I had was advertising four king size beds - two of these were twin mattresses pushed together without the use of a connector, mattress topper and king size fitted sheet. I think these little changes even with the twin mattresses would make a big difference. Especially since these beds are in the bedrooms with connecting bathrooms so likely the ones utilized by adults as master baths. Overall a good property but could use a few small changes.

Stayed Nov 26, 2025It was a great place to stay. Meant a lot for our family to get together to celebrate thanksgiving.Only con that comes to mind is the trash situation, very much an inconvenience. As for the cabin itself it was very nice.

Stayed Sep 25, 2025Very spacious home which made it comfortable for a large family. The homeowner had birdseed available at the home. We filled the 2 bird feeders and enjoyed the birds coming to visit. The view is beautiful. Private and quiet neighborhood. The roads are very curvy on the way up to the home. The only concern there was no emergency candles or flashlights available. The power in the neighborhood went out for about 3 hours at night, and it was very dark both inside the house and outside. We used our phone flashlights, and there was 1 Yankee candle to use for extra lighting. I would rent this home again for other family gatherings.

Stayed Aug 16, 2025The cabin was in a perfect spot and had a good view of the sunset from the back deck. The game room was by far my favorite area and my daughter felt like she had her own apartment for a week. My only complaint is that the hot tub had a weird smell and the curtain rod above the door closest to the hot tub was loose and it kept getting stuck on the top of the door and I had to take it down. The oven seemed a little dangerous since I daughter bumped it while we put groceries in the refrigerator and the burner turned on, and my son ran threw the kitchen and also bumped the stove and the gas turned on until we smelled it and turned it off and opened the windows for a while. Overall, I'd love to stay again during the fall or winter!

Stayed May 25, 2025Perfect house for our 3 families to gather. Only disappointment was that the pool was not open at the clubhouse. Otherwise, exactly as listed. Sooo many things to do! Beds were comfy and 2 w/ massage features. Not a a single complaint from the 4 kids about being bored. Game floor was entertaining for days. Hot tub was the perfect way to relax. Hiking and nature, with beautiful views. Note that roads have a few tight switchbacks/curves and no lights. Settling in is recommended before sunset. Clubhouse had a fantastic library and gym. About 25-30 minutes to get to shopping, so plan ahead. Clean, beautiful hardwoods and well stocked kitchen supplies. Fantastic bird watching...saw Cardinals, Blue Jays, Finches and many more feeding right off of the deck. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed Dec 6, 2024We were looking for lodging, to celebrate our son’s 18th bday, as well as bring donations & volunteer some time to WNC, following the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. We also wanted the location close to ski slopes, that offered plenty to do for teens, while at the cabin, that was also dog-friendly. This property offered everything we were looking for & more! The cabin was beautiful & worked out great for us! It gave the teens plenty to do, w/ a game room filled w/ a pool table, dart board, air hockey, dual basketball game, arcade game, comfy couch w/ big tv & streaming to watch movies, plus, board games, a chess table upstairs, & hot tub! The kids could chill in the game room while at the cabin, while my husband & I could enjoy some much needed & cozy down time, in the main living room upstairs, watching our own shows! It also allowed us a good stopping point & location, that was much closer than our house outside Ft. Bragg, where my husband is stationed in the Army, vs where we delivered donations to, in Rutherfordton, NC, and spent time volunteering for the WNC area; yet, still kept us just over a 1/2hr to Appalachian Ski Slope, where we took the kids skiing, snowboarding, & ice skating! It also allowed our pups to come with us, w/ a nominal pet fee, which was super helpful to us, so that we could bring our fur babies w/ us, especially since one recently became blind. Plus, we were able to save some money on a pet sitter! Thank you for a wonderful stay! Happy Holidays!

Stayed Sep 25, 2024The house was beautiful! It had great views of the mountains. The game room was a big hit with our family due to the storm that came through and we were unable to go outside. We had to cut our stay short due to not having power from the storm. The owner, Suzanne, was very attentive and wonderful to work with. We will definitely rent this property again!
