Hocking Hills Secluded Cabin • Hot Tub • Fireplace

The cabin was exactly like what we saw in the pictures. It is comfortable and well maintained. The property is very private and peaceful. Hocking Hills State Park is only 15 minutes away, as is Logan, since it is an ideal location.

This was a wonderful stay! We enjoyed our time, and they were wonderful hosts. Would highly recommend a trip here!

This cabin was the perfect weekend getaway!! Everything was so clean and perfect for us and our pup! We loved taking walks and going hiking at the local parks. The hot tub and grill were also the best addition to our stay. The hosts were so quick to get back and had great recommendations for things to do in the area. We can’t wait to be back soon!! Definitely will be recommending to friends who want a fun hocking hills getaway!

The hot tub was clean and the perfect temperature. The house was very nice, had everything we needed, and was in a good location within 15 minutes of everything we needed and wanted to do. The guns shooting nearby Saturday afternoon wasn't pleasant, but otherwise a perfect stay. Tip: sleep in the upstairs bed-it is very comfortable.

We enjoyed our stay in this cabin with our family. The property is peaceful and serene with only 2 other homes within the view of the cabin. The house was warm and inviting.We liked the secludedness. Just a heads up we noticed the gutters on both side were fill of leaves. I would hate to see damage. The fireplace tongs were broken. We tried to fix them but couldn't.

Hot tub was perfect cabin SUPER clean very equipped kitchen fireplace was super nice. I would suggest bigger hot tub towels and a mat for inside the bathtub and or a grab bar. Would definitely come back. Lovvvvvvved the lite Christmas tree

Very smooth communication. Place was very warm and cozy. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed. Hot tub was great especially after the first snowfall. Wood burning fireplace was our favorite thing. We did base our grocery trip off the description of no propane grill. There was one available that was not charcoal on the porch. Would have definitely used if known ahead of time. But overall, wonderful stay!

One of our most favorite VRBO stays ever. Best hosts ever, so thankful they share a beautiful place like this. The cabin was spotless. If like primitive feeling place less than 20 minutes to a Walmart with all the comforts of home you could ask for this is it. Hot tub was perfect after a long day on the trails. Dinner on the deck was perfect.

Close to all the attractions, and anything you’d need(Walmart,fast food, gas stations,restaurants. The house was set back and elevated for perfect privacy!

We had a lovely stay! The cabin is nice and secluded, there aren’t any neighbors in sight. We quite enjoyed the wood burning fireplace and hot tub. Appreciated that the kitchen had some oil and spices as we did cook some meals there. Everything was clean and cozy with the right mix of modern/rustic.

Everything and more! The fully stocked kitchen made cooking so easy. Literally zero mosquitos which was a unexpected bonus. Hosts communicated frequently and left detailed instructions. We loved our time in this house! The atmosphere was perfect. The house was beautiful. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was very clean and very well stocked! The wifi also worked great - especially in an area known for very little cell service. There were so many thoughtful touches throughout the house. We would definitely stay here again!

This is a secluded cozy little cabin that is close to many of the main hiking trails. Its in the perfect location as you aren't to far away from food/stores, but don't have much cell service. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here. The hot tub was a great added touch to a long hard day of hiking. We plan to come back for many summers to come!

We privacy and seclusion of Avery’s Place is perfect. The hot tub deck is perfect. We will eventually return to this hidden gem.

Very relaxing cabin with seclusion...just what we needed

My wife and I selected this cabin to stay for our wedding anniversary. The cabin was very spacious, clean, and cozy. It was very quiet and calm outside. We enjoyed the hot tub and camp fire at night which was very romantic.

This is a great spot near all the Hocking Hills sites. Very private, very clean, and a lot of nice extras were provided - coffee, towels for the hot tub (which was amazing!), games for the family to play, and a fully stocked kitchen. The only slight drawback was the mattress in the downstairs bedroom; I would suggest putting your kids in that room. The one upstairs was a lot softer and way more comfortable, but our kids demanded the super fun loft room. :)

We had a wonderful time at this house. It was extremely clean, no complaints there. The hot tub was fantastic and also immaculate. We had a rainy day and just read books and sat in the hot tub. It was great. Walmart and the downtown is just a few min away by car. The hiking was great too! Fantastic property. I highly recommend! The hosts were very easy to contact and I honestly didn’t really have to ask anything because the sent all the info I needed in the pre stay messages.

Our family had a cozy stay in late January. The location was ideal, as it was 15 minutes to the main hikes, as well as the town of Logan. The hot tub was perfect!

My wife and I rented this cabin and celebrated our 26th anniversary for three days in Hocking Hills. This cabin was very clean, had a nice hot tub, and had a cozy feel to it. The location is perfect for any activity in the area… 15 minutes from most trails and Logan. The owners kept in touch and were easy to contact if needed. We would certainly rent this cabin again!

Jan5-9th 2025 Had a wonderful time while we were snowed in from Winter Storm Blair which brought a level 3 snow emergency to the area.  All roadways were closed! We luckily stopped at the grocery store for food on our way  just in case  and the snow started just as we arrived!We enjoyed our 4 days playing games, watching movies and reading  by the fireside. Lots of time was spent in the hot tub!Joey and Jessie were great hosts and kept us up to date with what was going on with the storm level alerts!  We appreciated getting the drive plowed after a couple days once the travel alert was downgraded to a 2!  We enjoyed dinner at the Round House Restaurant on our last night!   Thank you! Hope to visit again!

The check in process was a breeze, the hot tub was super easy to use and extremely clean (it is drained and cleaned after every visit we found out!), and the owners of the property were super, super quick to respond with very detailed responses. I was pleased with our stay and didn’t want to leave! I would definitely stay here again.

We wanted to spend a few days in nature to celebrate our anniversary. This cabin is easy to get to, private, and secluded. It was an easy drive to local attractions and Hocking Hills State Park. We visited Ash Cave, the Moonville Tunnel, and dinner in Logan before checking in. The cabin is cozy, clean, and has what you need for your stay. Everything was in working order. We had a fire in the fireplace, used the hot tub, and cooked in the kitchen. We both loved sitting outside on the deck, relaxing. The hosts kept us informed and replied to questions promptly. If you are short, like my husband and I, you may want to decide to sleep in the bed in the upstairs loft. We wanted to stay on the main floor because it has a door and is close to the restroom. It was comical as the bed was high off the ground, and we both struggled to get in and out of the bed with our short legs. We were laughing quite a bit at ourselves. After the first night, we went to the loft's king bed to sleep. We will certainly go back to this cabin. Thanks!

The location is beautiful (especially in the fall) peaceful, and isolated from neighbors. The cabin is very homey and cozy. Using the fireplace is a must. It is gorgeous and is great to just cuddle and enjoy the serenity. The hot tub is also a great way to end the night. There is grills outside which we used for one of our dinners and made steaks and eat by the cozy fire. There is also a great winery near by that is a must. Im not a big wine person but i did enjoy a glass or two and the outside had a live band and was perfect. The lighting in the cabin is great and beautiful as well. It is a little hard to figure out were what switch goes to what, but after a few mins you get the basics down. The only down sides were that the bath tub area is very out dated and being a tall person makes it kinda awkward to shower in, and the other thing is that there is no brooms. I wanted to sweep up the leaves that we were tracking inside. Other then that, it is one other the best getaways we have ever had. Thank you for a memorable time.

What a wonderful property to have spent time on. My lady and I were looking for a good place that was far away from lights and sound. We got exactly what we were looking for. The silence on some nights was almost surreal. We will be saving this location for possible future visits! The cabin was very clean and was conveniently located near many hikes and amenities. We appreciated the timely communication by the hosts and would definitely stay here again!

Porch light didn't work. Bathroom drain clogged, had to fix it. Dog crap in yard. Couldn't use charcoal grill due to it holding water. Fire pit needed cleaned out. Damper in fireplace was broken causing wood to burn up quickly. Lights flickered on and off a bit.

I have stayed in the area several times & this way by far my best experience. The hosts are amazing, the location is perfect, the cabin is amazingly clean! It was perfect for myself and my daughter to get away and enjoy the trails. We definitely will be back!

Wanted a cabin for a quiet week to celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. A place to recharge. This cabin was more then anything we expected. I knew we'd like it based on reviews and pictures but it surpassed EVERYTHING i wa hoping for. I could go on forever about how cute, quite, serene, clean, comfy, tastefully decorated, etc, etc. You thinkcabin in the woods you think musty, bugs.... this was one of the cleanest places we've stayed and not a single bug. Hot tubs was fabulous, got slightly cloudy (not even a big deal) but I worried about now being able to use it all week. Sent them a message and they responded almost immediately and had it taken care of in an hour. Super impressive. I cannot speak highly enough about the whole experience! Would love to make it back again! Thank you both for sharing this amazing place! If I could rate it higher I would have!!!

Yes, it’s called a cabin, but it’s really a charming small home with everything you need! Close to Hocking Hills state park, the national forest and other nature preserves (with fewer people). Deck, grill, hot tub, fire pit, lovely inside accommodations and great commutation with the hosts. Highly recommend this piece of heaven for a getaway!!!

We celebrated 15 years of marriage at Avery’s Place and also the start of a new chapter in Ohio after living our whole married life in Tennessee. There were many pockets of Hocking Hills that reminded us of our time in TN—several short hikes with high rewards! Perfect place to reminisce and celebrate all that is to come.
