the property was nice, wish you could see more of the 95 acres and not look down to the street, the couch in main living room was terrible. the house was nice, much needed vacation

It was very clean and a nice place for a weekend stay. Loved the location and saw many deer running around. Couple issues we had though.1. Downstairs had absolutely no heat and it was freezing. We had a space heater which worked in the bedroom down there but the rest of the basement stayed freezing. 2. Main bathroom had a horrible odor, got worse if you opened the cabinet under the sink which is where the towels were. We kept spraying febreeze over and over again to try to help but it would only last a couple mins.3. Not enough lighting in kitchen/dining room area.

This cabin was one of the best if not the best one we have stayed in Hocking Hills! The bedrooms were all very comfortable and the sitting room with couch and ottoman over the bridge was perfect for my 11 year old son. The lower area was nice with pool table and separate fridge for drinks. The kitchen was very nice and the open floor plan kept everyone engaged whether sitting on the couch watching football, doing crafts at the dining room table, or preparing a meal in the kitchen. Having a bathroom on all levels was a great touch and the fire pit was awesome and easily accessible through the lower level. The one minor complaint was the lack of lighting on the lower level and the upper bedroom.

The upstairs bedroom had no controller for the TVThe pool table does not return the ballsAlso, the lower level bedroom has 5 Great beds for kids however, there are not dressers or closets to store your stuff. Main level bedrooms both have closets but one is used for cleaning products - again, no place for your stuffThe upstairs bedroom has not closet or dresser either.We only stayed for a short weekend, however, If I stayed longer I would definitely not be happy

Hot tub couldn’t be used, as it had too much chlorine and eyes were burning. Campfire was nice, but there were so many tiny bugs all over the chairs that you couldn’t sit down. Internet wasn’t strong and signal strength was sketchy. My granddaughter loved the cat walk above living area. The location was ideal and close to just about everything. Loved the big wraparound porch and hammock. Poor lighting in bathroom and shower areas. Did not use basement beds as it seemed pretty chilly there. Overall, it met our needs and the stay was comfortable.

The floor of the house left my white socks very dirty. Also the lighting of the house is not good, no dinner table lights, no lights over the pool table making it useless.

Loved the location & the house!

We all enjoyed staying at Fox Fire. Was nice and enjoyable to just sit outside around the campfire and enjoyed the hot tub as well. Would recommend to anyone one looking to get away from everything and just enjoy being with the family. Cabin was spacious and very nice.

The place was nice and the location is really good for what we wanted to do! Lots of room and accessible to a lot of different options. The downer was the jacuzzi and the pool table, 2 things we wanted to take advantage of while there. The jacuzzi is old and the jets only worked 1 of the 4 seats. The pool sticks were all old and had no tips so you couldn’t even hit the balls. Bummer!
