The waterfront A frame was a true A frame experience! We enjoyed evenings by the fireplace watching deer outside the large full sized window and during the day walking down to the private pond. Perfect getaway if you are hoping to escape from the hustle and bustle of a busy life!

Clean place, thoughtful extras around the cabin. We had a pleasant stay. Easily made breakfast in the small kitchen. Questions prior to stay answered quickly.

The cabin was spotless. The bed upstairs was one of the most comfortable beds we have slept in! The cabin was so cozy and inviting. The hot tub was so clean and made it even better. It was the most relaxing place we have ever stayed at. There were no issues encountered at all. We found it to be reasonably close to attractions such as Hocking Hills State Park and restaurants in Logan while still giving the feeling of seclusion! The hosts were so accommodating to my requests, and they were always quick to respond. Finding hosts that care about making your stay comfortable and special just as much as you do was a wonderful feeling. I will always appreciate the efforts they put into helping me make my boyfriend’s birthday just that little bit more special! We will definitely be back, and we have never said that about another place before. It was always warm, the heaters were amazing for the cold weather! Super satisfied all around! Would recommend to all as a safe and peaceful getaway! Beautiful place, great views, wonderful hosts! 10/10 stay!!

Perfect for a long holiday weekend. This cabin in the woods was lovely, cozy, clean, and well equipped. Neighboring properties were spaced out nicely. The lane would be difficult to access in the snow with AWD.

The hot tub was just ok, needed some chemicals. The shower was sub par, a cattle trough! My husband has 2 artificial knees, and for me it wasn’t pleasant to get in and out of. We arrived to a couple wet rags lying on the shower, no trash bags, coffee dregs left in the coffee pot. The hike down to the lake wasn’t what we expected, they need a more current photo. The frying pan was so way past its life, should be thrown out. Not enough forks, no scrub sponge for washing dishes.

We have no complaints but want others to know road to house very rough. Access to loft is a steep ladder. Main floor Bed is small and against wall on one side so we swapped nights for bed and other slept on sofa. The cabin was very well kept and very private.

The cabin was amazing! Very clean, cozy and comfortable! The driveway to get there sucked...very rough. From the description we thought we were going to be right on the lake....however you have to hike down a hill to get to it, so we only did that once.

The code was provided in advance so there were no issues with access. I did not know the only access to the beds upstairs was via ladder style steps. A bit of an issue for bad knees. The twin bed upstairs is an inflatable bed. There was trash left in the trash can outside from the last people so we didn’t have much room for our trash. The structure is sketchy. The upstairs balcony moves when you walk on it. The couch needs replaced as you sink way into it. There were only 3 forks in the kitchen. Other than that the outside is beautiful and more enjoyable than the interior. The hot tub was nice. The outdoor fire pit was well stocked with dry wood. We caught some fish off the dock. Beautiful view.

It was a good location, wish we would have know about the connection for internet as it didn’t say we wouldn’t have any. Just because we didn’t have a way to access the code or anything else. Cameras inside the house? Overall it was nice

Beautiful home! The perfect stay when truly needing to disconnect. WIFI and cell service is zilch- this may seem daunting, but worth it. The “stairs” to the loft is a ladder, take this into consideration when planning house guests and luggage. The walk to the dock, while incredibly beautiful, is rather steep. Consider this when planning and/or carrying items to the dock. It is recommended taking a stroll down the path before committing. If you are not familiar to the area it is highly recommended to print, download, draw, etc., maps to all of your destination(s) prior to arriving. GPS service is sketchy, if at all available.

Great place to stay if you're looking to unplug & relax. Close to Hocking Hills activities, but still remote to enjoy some quiet time with nature. We brought floats for the lake & the weather was perfect! Ended the evenings w/ a soak in the hot tube & a campfires.

The cabin was great. Very secluded and very quite. My sister and I had a great time. It was very clean and well taken care of. The hot tub was great, especially after a long day of hiking. The only thing that I did not know about was the ladder steps up the the top floor. I did not see this in the pictures. This was a little bit of a challenge, but we made it work. Over all it was a great place to stay.

Everything was pretty great, we really enjoyed our stay! The hosts were accommodating and responded quickly to questions. The hot tub was great and we didn’t find the temperature to be too cold like I believe another review said. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because our friends said the big upstairs bed was very uncomfortable. But if you’re only going with two people and don’t need to use the beds upstairs, then it was definitely 5 stars.

Overall we had a great time. Cabin was clean. All of the amenities were provided. Coffee and cream was a nice bonus. Hot tub seemed to need a change of water. The grill needs new grates could not cook on them, rusty. Bring foil. Main complaint was the beds. I mean I have slept on some rough beds at hotels etc, theses (all three) we’re very uncomfortable. Ended up sleeping on the couch the second night. Not better lol. If these few things were addressed, I would have given 5 stars. It was a very cute quaint little cabin, was perfect for a short weekend getaway.

My husband and I came to get away for a couple of days. The place is cute! There were some mouse dropping son the counters. The bed downstairs is small and very broke down. Didn’t try the one upstairs due to my husband having a jury knee. Do not try to get here without 4 wheel drive. The pond was a plus and it was nice waking down the trail to it. We would stay again.

Beautiful view of nature with an all glass wall window. Clean and well kept, minus a few mice droppings to be expected in the woods. Cool fire pit, nice deck. Really nice place as far as appeal but… lake is down a very steep hill, not right off the deck or even close to it with no lights or rail. Beds are rock hard and you can barely turn around in the shower surrounded by a 360 curtain and a huge step in. Also, you’re not allowed to adjust the hot tub so it sits at 99, which is not very hot. Second night there it didn’t work at all. Plus, it’s at least a 25 minute drive from pretty much everything- trails, restaurants, all of it.

The property itself was absolutely amazing. Literally the only downside of the location itself was the matresses made our backs hurt by night 3 of 4 so sleeping that last day was pretty rough. Otherwise absolutely amazing! They had a fun scavenger hunt for our son when we got there he loved looking for all the small things. The view and hotub waa great waking up and right bwfore we went to bed. No service whatsoever at cabin whicb was exactly what we wanted a way away from technology for a while. Hosts were amazing and let us check in a few hours early when we got there earlier than expected. Will for sure be coming back. And i absolutwly recommend a gps to get around area cell phone service not good even for the poor gps so we did a lot of winging it haha. Loved ir rhough absolutely no complaints.

Lets start at the beginning...The road to the cabin is steep and rough. DO NOT drive a low profile car you will bottom out. The cabin itself is cozy...little less then 800 square feet. There is no actual view of the lake but the view is still noce and peaceful. The hot tub is clean. The trail to the lake is steep but well maintained and about 50 yards to a tiny dock with a pretty view. Our only complaint is that the beds are not comfortable.and if you are older the ladder to the loft bedroom sucks. With that said we would still recommend the cabin and still give it an overall high score...oh and cell services are absent in the best way.

It was a little rough getting up the hill in my car but it was definitely worth the quick scare. This is an amazing property. The house was clean, had all the supplies we needed to cook dinner, the hot tub was clean and it was so much fun swimming in the lake. It was a nice couple of days to unplug and unwind from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Will absolutely stay here again, thank you so much!
