Hocking Hills (Buck Crossing Retreat)

This was the most adorable little cabin for a short getaway. It had an adjustable base bed, electric fireplace, small kitchen, and hot tub, all of which worked great. We will be rebooking in the spring!

The cabin is so cozy and the area is very peaceful.

It was a nice place to stay located close to everything in hocking hills but far enough away to be private and quiet.

The cabin was in an excellent area, peaceful and quiet. Everything was very clean and neat. A perfect spot for a getaway.

The cabin was so perfect. In a pretty quiet area as well! The Cornhole board went a long way to keeping us entertained after strenuous days of hiking. We would come back again and again. Everything was as advertised and they even have wood at the cabin instead of having to drive around to find wood pre-cut. The area as a whole is also a treat and we will be back again soon.

Great little place to stay. Close to the hiking spots. Very clean and had all the amenities needed for a relaxing weekend!

Great place to stay! When we first arrived the first thing we noticed was how clean the cabin was. The host was very accommodating! 10/10 would recommend for a couple looking to stay around Hocking Hills!

The cabin was clean, modern and spacious. Perfect for a couples getaway. We went hiking at Old Man’s Cave and Cedar Falls. It was about a 10-15 minute drive to get to the locations. 5 stars for this property and would definitely book again.

The cabin is exactly like pictured and described. We had the best time. The cabin had everything we needed. The hot tub was great. The heated floors were the perfect touch. We got engaged on our trip so this was extra special for us. Will definitely be back.

This cabin was very nice, clean and had a very comfortable bed. Everything worked well. We enjoyed the hot tub, campfire, swing, and cornhole! The fireplace is an excellent addition to the cabin. We had some trouble finding the cabin because the address at the driveway is different from the address I was given and we couldn’t see the cabin from the driveway. It would be helpful if you had the cabins address also by the rock as you turn into the driveway. Also, having a few more K cups available and a few more spices like garlic powder, cinnamon, and/ or seasoned salt. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to others!

Cozy, quiet, and clean. A nice compact cabin that offered a nice ac and WiFi that worked most of the time (except for a period of time at night). Great reclining bed that helped with my back pain at night.

Need to have some cleaning supplies and maybe a Swifter available for those of us who like to leave a place how they found it. The cabin was very nice

Very clean and close to everything we wanted to explore.

We arrived to an immaculate, well stocked cabin. Communication with Craig prior to the stay always got a prompt response. This is our 7 year visiting the area, but we had always stayed within the park. This year we were much closer to amenities. The hot tub and corn hole were nice The cabin is just off the road but noise was never an issue even at the fire pit as its not a road most tourists would take. Definitely recommend buck crossing for your visit to Hocking Hills. I also would like to add Cedar falls as my favorite hike and Millstone offer great bbq options.They are definitely on our short list!! Thanks for a great stay. See you next year, Hocking hills!

The property was centrally located in Hocking Hills area where everything was 15 minutes or less away. Cabin was very well maintained and offered many evening options whether fire pit, corn hole or hot tub outside and inside activities along with a TV. Perfect stay for 2 people.

I found one problem with our stay, it wasn’t long enough. The cabin was beautiful, clean and appointed with all the good things you need for a nice day. Close to all the attractions and coming home to a nice cool place after a long walk in the woods was wonderful not to mention the hot tub really soften the blow muscles. Thanks for keeping a nice place clean and safe.

Our mother/daughter trip was made even more special by the beautiful cabin, comfortable bed and furniture, outdoor seating with fire pit, and hot tub.

The cabin was very clean and secluded. We had to contact the host shortly after our arrival. They were very prompt and quick to respond. The location is within 15-20 minutes of a the hiking trails.

Absolutely beautiful place! Very clean and comfortable. Super convenient to all of the fun places in Logan county (I.e. hocking hills, Rockbridge nature preserve, food). Craig is a fantastic host and took care of any and all issues very quickly

We stayed 3 nights, June 2025. This property is excellent, very cozy, extremely clean. It had all the comforts of home. Very peaceful surroundings, very private location. We will definitely be returning. Next time for a longer stay.

We stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and we had a great time. We did a lot of hiking and some fishing. The cabin was perfect for relaxing and it was super clean! I would recommend this cabin to anyone!

This was our first cabin stay to visit Hocking HIlls and it was beyond perfect. It was better than described online. It was very clean and just perfect.

It was clean and well maintained. We went during heavy rain and storms. We’re super grateful for the hottub which was perfect. Bed was super comfy and the whole place was preciousI had crappy service and that sucked but the Wi-Fi was ok!

Loved the property. If we decide to come to Hocking Hills, Ohio area we will probably rent it again. The swing by the firepit was my favorite thing. We wished the weather would not have been so wet, with all the rain could only enjoy fire pit one of three nights.

We were thrilled with this cute cabin. It was very clean, well maintained and stocked with what it advertised. We used the grill both nights for dinner and the hot tub was very relaxing. This is a redo for us as we loved it here.

Stayed here for our anniversary! Extremely clean, great communication, great location, (10 mins from hiking) M&M diner is the place to go for breakfast! 58 West was good too! We can’t wait to come back again, even with off and on rain, we made the best of it and had a fire and relaxed. Hot tub was perfect temperature. Great cabin with great host!

The property is in a nice secluded part of Rockbridge, without being overly far from the main highway. The property was in pristine condition upon arrival. The cabin is beautiful with all the appropriate amenities for a wonderful couple retreat. Firepit, hot tub, cornhole, serene lighting, a nice kitchen, all while feeling completely remote. We intend on using this cabin/property again in the future and highly recommend it for couples needing some quality time together.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this cabin for a couple of days and absolutely loved it! It was very quiet and close to all of the hiking trails, and it is the perfect size for a couple who is looking for a mini getaway together.

The cabin is adorable. It’s the perfect size for one or two guest. The hot tub worked great. The communication from the host was incredible. They went above and beyond to make sure that I was safe during an unexpected snowstorm. I can’t wait to go back.

Everything in the cabin seems new and in great shape. The location is close to most of the top hikes in the area. The amenities are all very nice. I would stay here again.

Even better in person than in the listing. Perfect stay for a few days with a person you love. We will for sure come back one day!

Great location for all hiking and set up on a hill, beautiful studio cabin with all the amenities you need. The hot tub was perfect for after hiking,very relaxing after a long day. The bed and couch were so comfy. The kitchen table was very cool and creative. We definitely enjoyed our Christmas there was great to getaway from our busy life. Highly recommended to all. Huge thank you to the owner's they did great job to this property the set up to decor to amenities just perfectly set up.

The cabin looks like it's brand new and is very clean. It's in a very relaxing and quiet setting, but close enough to local attractions and shopping for convenience. I highly recommend this cabin.

Everything was smooth from check in thru check out. Nice location, easy drive to many hikes in the Hocking Hills area. Come stocked with your preferred method of coffee making gear or Keurig pods if coffee is important to you.

The place was exactly as it was supposed to be. I loved it was on a main road and how easy it was to get to the trails and/or go into town to eat. The road wasn’t so busy that it took away from sitting on the porch with the water feature, it was so calming. I would say make sure you look at the directions that are sent with pictures (love that) and not just hit the tab to get directions. You will not go to the right place! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed.

Though it was raining and we were unable to hike, wonderful experience with this cabin. Very clean and cozy! Smelled amazing! Wonderful time just resting and relaxing!
