This is a perfect place to get away from it all whether you want to do a fall color tour, ski, motorcycle, or hit up all the gorgeous beaches this area has to offer. This is a beautiful spot to making some Northern Michigan memories!

**Please note this cabin does not have wifi or cell service (some carriers do work there better than others) There is service right down the road in the town of Good Hart if needed. When you are at the cabin, it time to really unplug and spend time with loved ones.

Also, that this is an small cabin. Though it can sleep 6 with an pull out couch, it is something to think about space wise as its quite small :)

Wonderful place to relax and as described. Loved exploring all of the cabin books and cooking outside over the fire and the provided grill. General Store is very close and has great doughnuts in the morning and the pot pies were delicious as well. Would recommend and will be back.

This is a beautiful property nestled in the woods. The house is a gorgeously, appointed place. Saw deer and black squirrels! Our dog CAUTION Our cell phones did not work here at all. ( could not send or receive calls or texts). One of us does have a hotspot and still could not get cell service. Private BEACH near by( drive) is amazing. There is a sign there that says no dogs allowed. But we took our dog there anyway and no one questioned it. ( but saw no one there?)We had a fire in the fire pit one night and that was so fun! Plenty of wood. We had 4 pple. And fit nicely. Lovely place 30 minutes to Harbor Springs. 45 to Petosky.

Authentic Log Cabin. We have always dreamed of staying near Good Hart on the tunnel of the trees and to be able to stay in a 125 year old log cabin was the best. The cabin was much larger than I thought it would be and it was very comfortable. Plenty of comfy seating and a large dining room table surrounded by windows. There is a small table in the kitchen that looks out on the back yard where they have a spot that you can feed the chipmunks. We had so much fun watching them. Every morning and early evening we had deer show up as well. We really appreciated the lawn being mowed, it makes it so much nicer for walking our dogs. Not every VRBO maintains their lawn as well. The television does get local channels and our phones worked for texting. The atmosphere is so peaceful and relaxing that we did not miss the internet at all. There is a large garage set up as a family room and they provide 2 bikes for riding. The store is just down the road and we really enjoyed their sandwiches and the home made pie. You can tell that this home has been well loved and taken care of by the family that owns it. I am very grateful that they shared it with us and we hope to rent it again.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this 120 year old cabin, located on a large forested lot about a 10 min walk from the General Store in Good Hart. Cozy place with a nice outdoor fire pit, horseshoes, and garage apartment. Very quiet with frequent visits from the local neighbors, such as raccoons and chipmunks. A magical place.

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy cabin. It feels like you are in a rural, secluded area, yet it is close to town, the beach, restaurants, and state parks. We loved it!

This cabin left us feeling incredibly lucky and humbled to be a part of it for a couple of days. This felt like a pleasant weekend with your most cherished family members and for me it reminds me of my grandmother’s house whom I was fond of. From the family scenery and history, to the animals that call that cabin part of their home/routine. I hope we were able to treat this cabin as well as they treated us.
