Unwind at this historic cabin on the river at Camp Miramichee Falls in Hardy, AR. This original stone cabin was built in 1940, used by the Zonta Foundation, then by YWCA Camp Miramichee until 1979. Its history and craftsmanship make it a unique find to spend a relaxing getaway. Stone floors and walls keep it cool in the summer. The original stone fireplace is cozy in the winter. Though the modern central air and heat are a nice touch!

Stayed Aug 23, 2025The cabin at Miramichee Falls was so beautiful. We loved the old stone walls and floor. Such a beautiful peaceful place to spend relaxing by the creek. (The burn ban prevented us from having a fire BUT we were still able to really enjoy our time away on deck and swing by the creek). Super comfy bed too!! The kitchen had everything we needed. And we loved the big full fridge. We floated the South Fork of the Spring River. Rocky’s crew at Spring River Camp & Canoe picked us up right at our cabin!!!! They drove us up river about 5 miles so we could float back to our cabin. THAT WAS SO AWESOME!!! Call them for your kayaking experience!! The South Fork was completely beautiful. The most fun river I’ve ever kayaked - rocks to traverse around, 3-4 little waterfalls to go down, Ford bridges to go under, and big slow-flowing lazy water to sit back and relax. We had an awesome time!! We highly recommend Lynn & Jay’s stone cabins at Miramichee Falls AND the Spring River Camp & Canoe!!
