This historical property has been updated from the inside out. Built in 1904 by the Wilson family, one of the very first families to settle LaVerkin. It is one of the oldest Pioneer homes in all of Southern Utah.

This one bedroom, one bath structure is a combination of adobe brick and stick frame construction. The outside of the building has been left primarily untouched to maintain its historical integrity but has been updated inside to accommodate the modern traveler.

*Please note our weather is similar Las Vegas Nevada, not Northern Utah. We have such amazing weather to come and experience the great Zion National Park!! (July and August ARE hot- But Zion has water hikes!)
*We are open year round!

**Also we are 2 blocks from the brand new -Zion Canyon Hot Springs! We have discount cards (while supplies last).

We loved our stay at this cabin. It was fun to stay somewhere different from a hotel and the cozy quaint charming aspect of the cabin was so enjoyable. We were in town for a soccer tournament for my son. It was nice to have access to a washer and dryer so I could wash his uniforms. It was plenty roomy for 2-3 people and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to prepare your own meals. We also loved the history of the property and the family. Keyless entry was extra nice so we didn’t have to keep track of keys or cards. The directions and instructions from the hosts were very helpful and with the help of Apple Maps we drove right to it. I would stay here again and have already recommended it to friends and family.

This little historic homestead was a favorite of ours. It was clean, quaint, and just perfect for us! We loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the front porch after a long day, taking in more views. The host was out of town, but her daughter was helpful, friendly, and accommodating. If we’re ever back in the area, we’ll plan to stay here again. Also, check out River Rock Roasting Company about a mile away…delicious coffee and muffins!

Perfect -- good location, clean, easy, super cute. I'd recommend this if you are looking for a place about 25 minutes from Zion National Park (Springdale is closer, but very touristy and expensive), about 2 hours from Bryce. Very convenient to grocery stores. Try Lupita's for super yummy Mexican food in Hurricane (5 minutes away).

We truly enjoyed our stay at Liz's cabin. The cabin is cozy and a perfect place to relax after long days visiting Zion National Park. The cabin was clean and just as pictured. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evening and the string lights added to the experience. The area is quiet and the various trees on the property and view of the mountains added to the setting. The kitchen was stocked with so much of what you need and the store is just down the street for any little extras you may want. The only thing that seemed to be missing was coffee but I picked up some local coffee when we were in Springdale. The bed was comfortable but a little squeaky. We also visited the Hot Springs (highly recommend) just a mile or so down the road which made for pleasant evening outing close to home. I also loved the picture book with the history of the owners, their family and the cabin as well as some local information. I would just suggest maybe a guest book for visitors to write about experiences while visiting to pass on to others. This is a definite must to stay for a quiet and enjoyable experience close to Zion and hope to be back again. Thank you Liz for a wonderful stay!

This was our home base for our four-day trip to Zion. The location was extremely convenient when we needed to head back to the cabin, which was equipped with AC and was perfect to escape the heat. The kitchen was perfect for making our own meals and was stocked with all the basic pots/dishes/paper towel you need. We shopped for groceries at Lin's in Hurricane, which was a much closer commute than we expected. The interior of the cabin was very comfortable and had a great porch view of a mountain. The bathroom was gorgeous and stocked with complimentary shampoo, soap, and conditioner. We recommend this place to anyone staying in the area, especially if traveling to Zion! We would love to stay here again someday.

So I have been to Zion before my Girlfriend never had and she wanted to come so I booked this cute little cabin cotrqge its amazing spacious and cozy has everything you need 2 tvs living room kitchen and bed also comes with beautiful bathroom . People were communicating very well and if we needed anything they’d help we tried not to burden . Great place I wanna stay in this cute cabin again . Only Negative I had was my Girlfriend and I were Star gazing and walking in neighborhood along mountains and two dudes in trucks just started revving a circling us trying to intimidate us idk what for was a public road we were on so that was huge negative on last night but wont stop me from here it was petty and showed community dont like outsiders so be respectful.

There was no communication about access to the property unit 3:30 in the afternoon the next day! No back up plan, VRBO was of absolutely no help and the customer service with VRBO was terrible. The Host voicemail went right to VM and there was no monitoring of that. Then the host assumed that I was going to stay there the next night when there had been no communication and no access for the first night of the stay. I saw all the good reviews. Maybe this is a one off. But make sure you understand how you get access into the room before you go because there is no consideration. VRBO was of no use and I had to dispute the charges with my Credit Card Company. Because they also take no responsibility.
