Historic Crystola cabin

This cabin is always a joy to spend our time in Colorado. It's clean, equipped with everything a person could possibly need during a stay and having a washer and dryer is a plus. I definitely would recommend this cabin for a great place to stay.

A Hidden Gem in the Rockies – Perfect Mountain Escape Tucked away in the heart of Colorado’s breathtaking wilderness, this quaint cabin is pure magic. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a postcard — rustic wood accents, an electric fireplace, and a porch with views that stretch for miles. The cabin is thoughtfully decorated with charming mountain touches — vintage snowshoes on the wall and cozy blankets. It strikes the perfect balance between rustic charm and modern comfort. The kitchen is well-stocked, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the peaceful quiet at night is nothing short of therapeutic. What really sets this place apart is the location. Whether you want to hike, snowshoe, or simply sip coffee on the porch while watching the sun rise over the pines, it’s all right here. We even spotted a deer grazing nearby the very first night! They had plenty of recommendations for local restaurants, activities, and shopping. It’s the kind of place that makes you slow down and soak it all in. Perfect for a romantic getaway, a solo recharge, or a family adventure. We left feeling refreshed and already dreaming about coming back. Highly recommend — this little cabin is Colorado magic at its finest!

Great host, very nice and clean cabin nestled in the mountains but yet very convenient to shopping pikes peak, garden of the gods, royal gorge and cripple creek.

We really enjoyed are time at this cabin. Bev and Jodi were so welcoming and helpful. They showed some good hiking spots around the cabin and places to visit. The cabin was so Cozy, clean and well furnished. Loved the heating beds. Great location!! I would definitely stay here again. Thank you Bev and Jodi for making us feel at home.

This is a fully-featured cabin equipped for comfort, daily living, and even cooking. We enjoyed the peaceful setting also. It's been a great place to recharge for us every year.

A well kept beautiful historic home which quickly throws you back to a time when relaxing was a special time at the end of a hard day only you will feel that feeling all day everyday at Crystola Cabin. The property is restful, rustic, and everything that might be needed for the stay has been anticipated and supplied.

Really unique log cabin that is historic, functional and comfortable. Close to Garden if the Gods, Pike’s Peak, wolf wildlife center, Kenosha Pass and the beautiful Aspens. We had a great time and loved the porches each morning watching the deer and birds. We will definitely be back. Thank you Bev for the beautiful cabin and treats!

The cabin was lovely and perfect for our needs. There could be just a little more room for guests to put their things. But Bev's special touches were so nice and made us feel at home.

Dreamy. The Christmas decor was like a Hallmark film and space warm and cozy. The kitchen was stocked fully and we cooked almost every meal for our family of 4. When we arrived the pull out sofa was made up like a luxury bed and the living space was perfect for a week’s stay. Shower was also perfect, hot and spacious. We are from south Texas and the cold can be jolting. However, the master king had electric mattress pads. Crawling into bed each day was such a treat. Location was also perfect: close to everything and still nestled in the side of the mountain among the critters. We travel and this was my favorite place we’ve ever stayed. Our hostess Bev was kind, available and the best!

The location was just a little bit out of town, which was perfect for us. We got cabin living in the mountains while still being 15 minutes from town. The cabin was absolutely perfect, quaint and fully stocked with everything you could need to cook a meal sans the food. Bev is a great host and was very accommodating. We saw deer everywhere and even some turkey! 10/10 will absolutely book the cabin again

This was a lovely and relaxing home base. We were able to go out hiking and adventuring and come back to a restful place. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook the meals we wanted, and the coffee area was well stocked. The hosts were helpful and more than kind. Highly recommend.

Had a fabulous time and was the perfect place to stay! Great get away cabin in the mountains that was cozy and relaxed. Bev was a gracious host and made us feel at home. Plenty of fun to be had in the area with hiking, fly fishing, and time for father and son to connect. Wonderful place to make memories!

The cabin was very well stocked with everything we needed it was clean and comfortable. The location was great with lots of parks and trails to explore nearby. Also just a short drive to Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. Bev was a great host.

We loved the cabin! Bev was a wonderful hostess and there wasn’t anything we needed that wasn’t provided. She even had homemade goodies waiting for us! If we’re ever back in Colorado Springs, we’d love to stay here again!

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for. So comfy, clean and perfect for two adults and two kids. Bev was a great host and the cabin had everything we needed. Close to grocery stores and the local attractions. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck and the kids loved playing outside. Highly recommend!

Perfect cabin for a couple!

I cannot say enough good things about this little cabin. The location is perfect. It is perfectly clean, the cutest decorations, and just the greatest little place to stay. We will definitely revisit this little treasure.

The cabin was lovely and larger than it appears online. There were muffins and cookies waiting for us when we arrived which we really appreciated. The furniture was very comfortable and there were plenty of dishes, silverware, cookware, and spices. Bev was very kind and easy to reach when we needed her. We would not hesitate to book again in the future.

Bev was awesome. I’ve stayed at many different locations and this one tops them all in price, location, and cleanliness. I cannot say enough good things about this cabin. Thank you again!

very cozy cabin!! The treats that were left at check in were to die for( we’ve been craving them since we left lol) Very clean lots of extras coffee tea canned foods laundry supplies cooler walking sticks and much more!! The weather was cold and rainy while we were there so didn’t get to enjoy the deck or grill but definitely a bonus. Great location for everything we wanted to do Pikes Peak Garden of the Gods and manitou Springs!! Unfortunately my husband and I got sick and cut our stay short but would definitely book again!!

My husband and I came up to Woodland Park for our son’s graduation from Charis. After searching all the lodging options we settled on Bev‘s cabin. It is exactly as described and a lovely place to stay. Bev has outfitted the cabin with a nice coffee/tea/hot chocolate bar and even had some nice treats waiting for us when we got there. Another nice touch were the extra toiletries and basic medications in case we had forgotten anything. I would absolutely stay here again.

In looking for nearby lodging for a personal get-a-way, I found this delightful cabin and received a quick response from the owner who resided close by. Everything from check-in to check-out was simply delightful. All the amenities enabled my having a most satisfying personal retreat. Also a great place for a couple who enjoy a daily view of deer passing by. Oh so peaceful here! Gratefully, Russ

We spent 3 weeks at the cabin, the longest we've stayed in one place in years. This was a convenient base for all the places we wanted to see. For the two of us, there was plenty of room. We had all the comforts we needed, especially since we ate in most nights. Bev and her daughters were very gracious and helpful. If we come back this way we will definitely be staying here again.

This was the perfect cabin, there was everything we could need or want in and outside the cabin! Especially peace and relaxation. Bev was a phenomenal host let us feel like it was our cabin while we were there. We grilled steaks one night on the grill and sat outside and enjoyed the fresh crisp pre-fall air. Property was as presented. Owner was very friendly and a joy to speak with. Quiet surrondings and easy access to Woodland Park and Manitou Springs. Great for morning coffee and breakfast on the porch. Would easily stay there again if we choose to vaca in that area instead of seeing other parts of the greater Rocky Mountains. We were delighted by everything! Close to Woodland Park but still secluded and lovely.

When we first arrived to our cabin we felt so welcome. The cabin was clean and it was exactly as descibed in the listing. The owner had provided everything we could possibly require and so much more. The kitchen was equipped with all of the essentials and we had a very nice gas grill on the patio. We saw lots of wildlife including moutain birds, rabbits, mule deer and marmot's near Pike's Peak. This is such a beautiful place to stay and enjoy the outdoors. There are plenty of places to eat or pick up something to throw on the grill. And there was plenty to do, even if Mother Nature decided to cool the air down with a shower or two. The nights were cool and the bed was so comfortable. After a great day of hiking and a glass of wine to end the evening, this cabin was a home away from home and we can hardly wait to come back ! Thank you so much for a wonderful time and inviting us into your cabin home. God Bless !

A nice quiet little cabin. Just far enough from the highway to feel private, but still close enough that you can get to the surrounding attractions in a short amount of time. The host was very friendly and very accommodating. Me and my wife would recommend this to anyone couple staying in the Colorado Springs area.
