You will love the views from all of the windows.  Lake view in the living and eat in kitchen and beautiful wooded bluff view out the bedroom and kitchen.  You will feel like you are outdoors enjoying nature.  Don’t be surprised to have deer outside your bedroom window in the mornings and evenings.

Guest Access:

Note, the gravel driveway to the cabin is not suitable for motorcycles and sports cars.

There is a flat screen TV with Roku and WiFi, but the wrap around deck with a place for outdoor dining as well as a covered area facing the lake, will allow plenty of outdoor enjoyment.

The Neighborhood:

Lake Lucerne is a historic resort from the early 20th Century, which orignally included a golf course and an airstrip (now long gone). In the early days, the resort was a social center serving the vacationing elite. Over the years, much of the resort was divided up and sold. Today, Lake Lucerne is a historic snap-shot in time. There is no access for fishing, swimming, or boating at Lake Lucerne. The lake is a spring fed stream with a hand laid limestone dam. Some travelers have had expectations of a large reservoir and have commented that, in their opinion, it is more of a pond. (We assume that the founders didn't like the sound of Pond Lucerne, therefore, it has always been referred to as a Lake.) Over the years moss, and other aquatic plants, have grown in the shallow end of the lake, although, the deeper end near the dam has clear, open water. Please note that this is not a commercially groomed reservoir. Lake Lucerne is a natural Ozark stream with fish, plants, and moss. It is naturally beautiful, but it is not maintained like a water feature in a botanical garden. You will be staying on the South shore of the lake. Each of these 10 Cabins were a part of the original Lake Lucerne Resort.

Getting Around:

Be prepared for a narrow 1 lane road, although, it is easily navigable. We are in the Ozarks and the cabins are perched on a hill with sufficient room for a gravel road and a small driveway which will easily accommodate modern vehicles. There is sufficient space to safely drive to your cabin. The road includes a turnaround at the end, providing room for a 3 point turn. (We have NO space for trailers)

My husband and I needed a quiet, restorative get away and this cabin was perfect for us. We loved the log cabin with the awesome vaulted ceiling and full windows on 3 sides looking into trees and water, beautiful views. The large deck wrapped around two sides with 3 different sitting areas, one with a fire pit. The kitchen and bath were totally modern with everything we needed. (The bath towels were luxurious!) Our host was very responsive to our questions. We were only about 5 minutes from downtown Eureka Springs, yet totally in the woods, so peaceful!

LOVE THIS CABIN! Beautiful decor, very comfortable beds and chairs/couch. The view is unmatched. All the kitchen items you need, very nice bathroom and shower. Nice linens, porch was the best. So quiet and peaceful. Close to town. The gravel driveway is rough but we managed. 4 wheel drive or a heavy vehicle would be best due to a gravel incline. Will come again!

Beautiful cabin! We were there for the week of Christmas and it was exactly what we needed. We loved the kitchen and fireplace, used them both just about everyday! It was the perfect place for our holiday vacation! We will be back for sure!

We were looking for a nice, quiet place to stay for a few days over fall break. This was just what we needed. The cabin, though next to other cabins, was very quiet. The view of the lake was great. Although we felt like we were in the middle of nowhere, Eureka Springs was very close by. This made getting around really easy.
