Hillbilly Hilton @ Wilson's Paradise Lodging Medix Run Benezette Twp

The Cabin was clean and spacious. Perfect for a couple. The outdoor space was private and we enjoyed a nice camp fire with the wood provided. We were close to the Elk Visitors Center. Saw the Elk heard twice at the Viewing Area during our stay. We will stay there again next time we visit Benezette. Highly recommend the Hillbilly Hilton.

Clean, quiet, relaxing. Perfect size for 2 people. You could live there permanently. Only thing is would add a mirror to bedroom. In case someone is in bathroom you could still get ready in bedroom.

Everything was perfect.well equipped for what we needed and close to things we wanted to see which is why we chose your area. Would recommend .

The cabin listing is everything it says! The sulfur smelling water was not ideal. Obviously, no fault to the owner. The owner was generous in providing bottled water! The cabin was a great place to stay. Definitely would stay here again!

We loved everything about it. We even brought things (bath towels and bath mat, hot dog fork etc.) we thought we would need to bring and turns out they were already there. We had a fantastic time. Looking to go back in the fall of 2025. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great place to stay. Close to what we wanted to do and easy to get in and out. The cabin had everything you needed!!!

As noted, the owner thought of nearly everything (except for some coffee grounds to use, LOL) and the place was spotless. We had no neighbors on our stay so I can't speak to noise. Close enough to most every we wanted/needed. Easy access. Withstood a severe thunderstorm without an issue. Some deer came into the yard. Place was spotless!! The owner provided LOTS of drinking water as he prefers you don't drink the tap water...but the sinks/commode/shower worked fine!! We were definitely impressed (after a horrible experience at Pymatuning with a different host) and would gladly return to the same cabin in the future. We are snowbirds (AZ) and this cabin was as comfortable and stocked as any place we've been. Yep...enjoyed it very much!! Thank you!!

Perfect cabin for a quick getaway! Property is beautiful, cabin spotless and stocked with everything you may have forgotten along with the essentials! Close drive to everything you may need! Recommend this to anyone!

Very clean and super nice place with everything you could need for the stay. Quiet and secluded.

Upon arriving at the Cabin, we were greeted by the host and were allowed to enter the property early. We had driven quite a distance so this was much appreciated. We really enjoyed the recliners for watching TV and the fire pit and chairs outside. I would definitely go back again.

The cabin was easy to find and not too far from Benezette. The place was bigger than it looks. The host had everything ready for us. We had some trouble sleeping because the beds were firmer then we’re use to. And being as we are older we had trouble with the recliners getting out of them and pushing the foot part down. It would be nice if he had a soft comfy couch to crawl up in on a rainy day. The bathroom was very nice. Good shower pressure. The kitchen was stocked with cooking stuff if you needed anything. Over all not a bad place to stay.

Everything was Great! The cabin was very well stocked. We had a Very relaxing couple of days! We would definitely rent this cabin again.

Very nice camp, clean and beautiful area!

This cabin has everything you need for a short getaway in Elk country. We saw several elk during our travels. And a black bear in the field next to us! Peaceful quiet location right off the main road. Easy drive to all the viewing sights in Benezette and Quehanna wild woods. The bed was very comfortable, king size. Also has a twin bed in the same room if needed. The kitchen has all the basic items and supplies for easy meal preps. The water isn't drinkable, but lots of bottled water was supplied. The bathroom shower was nice, great water pressure. Temperature was very comfortable for our stay. Air conditioning was awesome. The cabin was spotless. There was a fire ring out back, but we didn't use it. But I did relax in the comfy Adirondack chairs. I recommend the cabin and would stay again

Stayed 3 nights at this cabin. It was in a wonderful location and very peaceful. We will definitely be back and highly recommend!

This cabin is easily the best one I've stayed in. Nice backyard, roomy bathroom and very comfy furniture. Also a nice spacious backyard complete with a firepit and a firewood shed. Only real downside is that there's no cell reception, but it does have WiFi to compensate. I'd recommend anyone to stay here.

What a wonderful place to stay,cabins were spotless with everything you need supplied . The kids had a blast . No Elk sightings but maybe next time . We will

The cabin is clean and well equipped. We stayed for 5 nights while turkey hunting and had a great trip. It’s very private and quiet which is nice. Not a complaint but it could use a rack or some hooks to hang clothing on to dry from the rain. All in all, highly recommended and will be a repeat customer.

When we arrived at the site key was not there. The area cabin is in has no cell service. So we drove to were we could get service TaCalled VROB they tried to call host. Again cell service in area is not good. So host did not answer. Instead of VROB telling us to wait they cancelled our reservation and told us we had to use our own money to find somewhere to stay. They would reimburse later. They would not help us find another place we were on our own in a middle of nowhere. You cannot book for same day on VROB either so we started home. 40 minutes later the goat called he was in service able to get messages. He apologized for mix up and gave us the weekend free. We had a wonderful time a. This is second time we stayed at cabin and living e it

Easy and scenic drive to elk viewing areas. Comfortable bed, well stocked fire pit area. Very clean. Would recommend to friends & family.

Nice cabin but much prefer their other one. Upon walking into cabin and taking our suitcase to the bedroom at the very last second I noticed the big step down. I would have fallen and probably would have gotten a serious injury. I have had two knee replacements so steps are a challenge .perhaps a small caution sign about the step would be appreciated. The floors seem to be uneven or slightly slanted which kinda throws you off balance. The cabin was very clean, plenty of things to cook with. The outdoor grill was very slow to heat up and grill on. Again I would very much stay at the other cabin as this one was a bit of a challenge for me

Loved seeing deer in neighboring yard. Also loved the short drive to Visitor Center.
