Quiet, peaceful location. Hosts are great with communication too! Everything was as expected :-) Definitely a place we’d stay at again.

We liked that the posted pictures matched the cabin exactly so we felt like we got what we paid for. The kitchen had all the basic necessary cooking equipment and not a lot of stuff that wasn't necessary. The fenced back yard was perfect for our dogs to run around in but make sure you don't leave your pets, or kids, alone in the back yard due to it does butt right up against forest land. The property management was very responsive and pleasant to deal with. The only thing we wished for, that we did not have, was kindling. The property offers firewood bundles for sale, and we had two bundles delivered, but then had to come up with our own kindling. We would definitely stay here again.

No secure place for garbage. Bear got into ours and garbage was all over the fenced in area. The furniture is worn. Dirty and warn floor mats in kitchen and bathrooms. Low rated products included - toliet paper (which we had to purchase) tissues - NO bath soap, just small tubes and our stay was for 7 days. No disinfectant sprays for kitchen counter tops or bath. Kitchen inside drawers disorganized and dirty. Under the kitchen sink was visibly dirty. A vacuum was left in the living room FULL with floor dust/hair, etc. Carpet in downstairs bedroom just nasty. When we stay at a VBRO or even a hotel, there are an amount of cleanliness that most are accustomed. The downstairs bedroom closet had a roll-away bed and we had the smallest of room to hang our clothes in the closet.

Communication with the rental people was the best I’ve ever received. They stayed in contact the entire time. Our stay was seamless and so much fun. The cabin was perfect for 3 people.

Wonderful property and location. The fenced backyard and bordering the National Forest where we could walk out the backyard with our dog Cassie is exactly what we were looking for and determined our decision for our stay. The bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed watching the cable TV! The weather was wonderful and even enjoyed the rainstorm one afternoon! If I owned the property I would put better lighting in the kitchen ceiling and down stair bathroom. Really a nice property!

We had a great stay at this cozy cabin in Herber. It was nice to sit outside, enjoying the cool weather and views of the forest area. Our pups enjoyed the fenced in back yard and exploring the neighborhood on walks. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I stayed at this cabin for 5 nights in July 2024. We brought our two dogs for relaxation and to escape the three digit heat from the valley. The cabin is situated toward the back of the property so it is quiet and private. We enjoyed cooking on the propane grill outside and relaxing around the propane fire pit. We spotted turkey and deer from the back porch. The host checks on you regularly. We gave our overall stay 4 stars based on the following: The beds aren’t comfortable in the downstairs or upstairs rooms. We couldn’t sleep past the sun coming up due to no curtains on the windows. The blinds are on the windows in room areas but don’t block light. The living room and kitchen areas have no blinds or window coverings so anyone from outside can see you inside, especially at night. The backyard has an ant problem that we let the host know about. The cabin back porch had spider webs all over chairs in a corner and lots of spider nests on ceiling. If you have small children inspect beds before going to sleep. The cabin probably isn’t sprayed for spiders or bugs regularly. Tips: Make sure you bring toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap with you. Heber is absolutely beautiful to stay in. We ate at our favorite Bear Diner again. We are already planning another trip to Heber for August.
