Hidden Chalet- Hot Tub, WiFi, Pac Man Arcade, Firepit

This a great place to stay and I would likely book again. The cabin is clean and well cared for. I had the absolute best nap of my life during a rain storm. I will say that the firepit is a no go, its seated right under a flood light and kind of kills the mood. I assume its so you can find the driveway at night it's not a huge deal for me, but keep that in my if you are bringing a ton of firewood with you.

Our stay had a mix of positives and a few challenges. The loft bed was extremely comfortable, and we appreciated the washer/dryer in the unit. The Pac-Man game was a fun touch, and we enjoyed using the hot tub and having a bonfire each night. The coffee maker that supports both pods and drip coffee was also a nice feature. However, the cabin is very close to a busy road, so traffic noise was noticeable throughout the day and night. We also encountered mice in the cabin, which caused us to avoid cooking and store our snacks in the microwave to keep them safe. The property also has several cameras around the exterior, which may not bother some guests but did make the stay feel less private to us. The area is not very secluded—you can see and hear nearby homes and another cabin above the property. Most attractions are about a 30-minute drive away, although the drive does take you through some beautiful countryside. Overall, the cabin had some nice amenities but may be better suited for guests who don’t mind being close to neighbors and a main road.

Wry nice little cabin, well equipped, clean on the inside, beds were very comfortable. On the downside the upstairs bedroom needs some kind of air conditioning was a little uncomfortable at night, also the outside deck needs pressure washed was very slick when exiting the hottub

Bed and tub were great! There were flood lights on the fire pit that stayed on all night, shining into the bedrooms, and video cameras everywhere that really killed the vibe. A very big brother vibe and we were not really able to relax with the feeling of being watched like prisoners.

The cabin was very clean! Enjoyed our stay. The only downside of the area is the town of Campton is small and most places to eat if you want to go out are closed or they don't open until 5:00 pm

Overall everything was great, however it rained the whole time we were their. Between the rain, leaves, and pine needles the porch was very slick, especially the ramp!

It was spacious and everything was there that we needed! Beautiful cabins and quiet too.

I liked pretty much every thing about the experience and the veiw and cabin were fantastic! Parking and leaving each day from the property was the only problem ever, and that was just a minor inconvenience due to the facilities and experience be absolutely wonderful!

Great stay -- as I mentioned in a separate email to the property manager, fan remote needs to be replaced. There is a floodlight I am sure is designed for safety that basically creates full daylight by the firepit. This kind of kills the firepit mood. If it would be possible to have a switch that could turn that off, it would be an improvement.

Great cabin when visiting Red River Gorge. We enjoyed the hot tub at night and a nice fire. Would definitely recommend this place. Great communication with host throughout the stay.

We had a relaxing stay at the cabin. The cabin was clean and comfortable just like the description. The kids even came off their iPads!!The hot tub was cold when we got there but heated up quickly. Probably was cold as it must have just been cleaned. It was so nice to have such a clean hot tub.

It’s just a beautiful place to be. The Pac-Man game gives it a little extra, especially with the kids… and adults. Easy to get too even in the snow.

A very cozy winter cabin experience. With all the snow and ice we stayed in for a few days in a row. We loved the ambience of the cabin and took lots of trips to the hot tub. It was quiet, restful, and perfect!

Very clean and cozy. WiFi was strong. The only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating is because only one set of jets worked in the hot tub and the dryer didn't work.

Upon arrival 11 minutes earlier that the 4 p.m. check-in time, we texted to the hosts to let them know we were there and to make sure it was okay for us to enter and they would not allow us to until exactly 4. I know the listing says no earlier than 4 but 11 minutes??? No one was there and the cleaning was already done. Crazy in my opinion. The cabin was cute and clean but smelled musty. The kitchen was well supplied with all eating utensils and coffee. The hot tub was there and nice and warm but only one section of jets worked so my daughters and I kept having to switch places for the massage experience. There was a washer and dryer and we were supplied with 3 laundry pods as promised but the dryer smelled very strongly of mildew. We felt compelled to let it air out (the door was closed tightly when we arrived and until we were going to use it) for quite some time before using it to dry our clothes. The blankets provided in the cabin didn't smell very good as though they may not have been washed in quite a while. The host was responsive to texts and very pleasant. Overall, it was a good experience and I would probably book it again.

We had a good stay but the cabin was dirty and the bed linens had not been washed down stairs so i washed them myself, but the over all stay was good

Freezer was leaking and outside lights didn’t work and cobwebs all over

We stayed here at the end of July for an overnight. We hit some trails and brought back Miguel’s for dinner. The arcade was a hit with my boys ages 6-10, and they enjoyed the hot tub as well. The campfire ring was a great touch also.The inside was decorated well and easily accommodated our family of 5. The loft was really neat but warm in the summer, thankfully there was a ceiling and floor fan to use which helped cool things down considerably.The washer and dryer was a great touch, we were able to wash our clothes from a sweaty hike and move on to our next stop with all clean clothes in the luggage.The cabin was tucked back in a lane that was shared by 3 or 4 other cabins, but even during the day it felt secluded due to the trees blocking views. I could hear the other cabins/ homes at times but really couldn’t see them. The drive to the cabin was a relatively steep climb, but a short one…maybe 75 feet? Our FWD vehicle handled it fine, could be an issue with snow for sure.The site was close to the gorge…10-15 minutes away. We enjoyed our stay.

The house was clean and perfect. Hot tub was hot, deck was a great place to lounge. Nice to have a good washer and dryer. We would stay there again next time we are at RRG.

Very welcoming, clean, quiet

It was a wonderful experience I Celebrated my 30th Birthday here and it was exactly what they advertised. At first I was a little nervous but it was wonderful I was most impressed with how clean it was! My friend who has severe allergies to dust did not complain once while we were there!!! Thank you for such a wonderful experience be bless :)

The possibility of a cozy campfire is ruined by the streetlight glaring right above. We did not like that at all. The cabin itself was nice, quiet, pretty views. Hot tub on the balcony was lovely. Would only go back if that light could be switched off.

Very nice interior and functional for our stay. Good location to enjoy nature and access to main roads for food/gas/park. We enjoyed it very much!

Pros: Cabin is as described. Cozy and inviting. Cons: was contacted on our last day by the property manager that the owner had increased pet fees since we made our reservation and would be charging us 100 per pet. Spent over an hour between communications with VRBO and management trying to resolve the problem. Appreciated VRBO standing behind their polices and not allowing additional fees be added post reservation .There are also several beer cans littering the property off of the deck that does create an eye sore. Personally I won’t be renting again from this company again.

Perfect spot just outside of Camden. Enjoyed the hot tub and nature. The stars were amazing at night. Drive way was a little sketchy with the incline and potholes. We had a great time and would definitely come back.

Beautiful property! It was definitely hidden as we missed it initially. My small SUV would not have been able to go any further up the steep driveway to the other properties. Overall, wonderful experience!

it was a great little cabin, really enjoyed it, the arcade game was fun! I wish the fire place insert was installed, but still we all really enjoyed the stay. We were celebrating one of our good friends 70th birthday, thanks for helping to make it special!

My wife and I were looking for a quiet getaway in close proximity to the Red River Gorge. This property offered the perfect combination of privacy and nearness to amenities and the Red River Gorge. We had no problem locating the property, or checkingnin and out.

This was a great place to stay for our long weekend. We loved the porch and hot tub, the couches and beds were very comfortable. The TVs had Rokus which was great! The location of the house was perfect for going to explore the Gorge. The only thing we didn’t use was the fire pit because there’s a very bright street light right above it.

We had a wonderful time and the team at StayOver were awesome! They provided everything we needed and their communication was stellar! It rained the entire weekend but the cabin was cozy and relaxing. Will for sure be back!
