Hemlock Haven: Luxury Log Retreat w/ Sauna, Saloon & Blue Ridge Views

Hemlock Haven was the best family getaway ever for my group. The house was spotless, well appointed and amenity laden. The hosts were gracious and communicative. The view was inspiring and the region offered fantastic reconnection with nature.We would return in a heartbeat.

Everything about this property is top notch. So many things to do if the weather is good, and even more things to do on a rainy day. This is the best long weekend getaway that we have ever enjoyed, and we will definitely be back.

This house was the perfect getaway! The views from the main room are stunning, lovely outdoor fire pit, very comfortable bedrooms, lots of games in the basement, and beautiful decor throughout.

We had the most incredible stay at this luxury log cabin in the mountains of Virginia! The home itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and nature. It’s remote and peaceful, offering the perfect escape from everyday life. The cabin is beautifully designed and furnished with high-end touches that made it extremely comfortable for our family. The layout of the house was perfect, and everything felt well thought out to ensure a relaxing and enjoyable stay. From the decor to the amenities, it was clear that a lot of care had gone into making this home special. Jean, the host, was wonderful to work with—communicative, helpful, and organized. There were clear and thoughtful notes and guides throughout the house, making it easy to settle in and enjoy everything the home had to offer. I’ve rented dozens of homes over the past few years, and this cabin stands out as the best I’ve ever stayed in. The location, views, and luxury details truly make this a one-of-a-kind experience. I can’t recommend this property enough! We had an unforgettable stay and hope to return again soon.

The house was breathtakingly beautiful, and we truly enjoyed all the different locations that we could sit and enjoy views or listen to nature. Thank you for all the extra provisions, our family is appreciative, sometimes the little things means so much.

Walking into this amazing home took my breath away! The attention to detail was incredibly impressive. The beautiful hand-carved doors were one of my favorite parts. I also loved the screened in relaxing area and when the weather gets cooler I can just imagine being out there with a crackling fire and my first morning coffee. I could go on and on but this is absolutely one of my favorite houses I have ever stayed in!

This is an incredible property, and we had an amazing time! The home is gorgeous and stocked with everything you could need - just bring yourselves, clothes, and food! Our young boys were well occupied with the dart board and games, our daughter found numerous quiet places to read, and we had plenty of indoor and outdoor space for family fun and games! Bravo and thank you to the owners.
