Our kids loved the pond in front of the property. Caught a few trout in the pond
This property and cabin was an amazing find, just north of Taos it was the perfect location. Great starry night, and a beautiful fire pit. I will definitely be staying here again!
The cabin was very nice. We couldn't find it at first. Its down unmarked road in a less desirable area. Once we found it, the pond was very nice ... needed comfortable porch furniture. The beds in both rooms were very squeaky! The one bath was nice, but very small and bedrooms and bath were not at all soundproof. Alright if one family, not if friend situation.
The cabin was very cozy! It snowed while we were there for Christmas & the view was absolutely beautiful! Cabin stayed very warm. It had all the pots & pans I needed. Washer & Dryer was a convenience. The island was huge. You won’t be disappointed if you stay here!! We enjoyed our stay.
This place is amazing. This location set the bar really high for many reasons. I loved the stream sound, the pond was beautiful, it was quiet, way more stocked than i expected, and was very clean!!! This is my next location again!!
Nice view, great location!
The cabin was located in a weird spot directly behind a few house/ farm, but had a nice view of the mountains.. the pond has a view trout that you can see from the bank, makes it hard to catch them.. Cabin has a very small bathroom. No AC but fans and an easy to use heater. The beds were just okay but did get hot in the bedrooms at night. Every night woke up sweating but could be a personal problem and not a cabin problem. They have the cabin equipped with all the kitchen utensils and things needed. The cabin does need some up keep, some blinds were broke, water hose on the sink was broke, burnt out light bulbs, etc… cabin is located right between Taos(30minutes) and red river(20 minutes). Overall the cabin is okay for a weekend couple getaway unless you have a large group.
Exactly as described, look forward to doing it again. The host (Lori) was very accommodating
Enjoyed our stay at this peaceful cabin. It is ckmplete with everything from dishes, utensils' towels snd the best part a private fishing pond.
Peaceful, picturesque and private. Easy access to Red River and Taos.
The cabin is great and spacious. Needs some small up keeping. Like light bulbs, sofa repair, stove handles replaced, etc. Otherwise we love the location and the owners.
It was fun. Had everything we needed. Nice big cabin and great little pond with huge trout in it!! Recommend it to everybody!
The cabin was clean and a great getaway for our vacation. We loved the view right next to El Migre Mountain, the weather in July here was very pleasant. I would definitely go back but I suggest going to Taos for groceries and supplies. The creeks here are beautiful nothing like Texas. We loved the mountains and the beautiful scenery. Definitely we will be back again.
This was perfect for us. Lori answered any questions we had immediately via text or phone call. Even though they live close by, we never actually saw them until we went to their house on our way out. I would recommend this place highly.
The house was nice inside and out. It is not that hard to find, close to town but still feels secluded. The pond was nice also, for us this was the best part. We will stay again and recomend it to family and friends.
It was perfect for a spring break ski trip!
I love this property. Lori is wonderful. Will stay again.
Very nice and clean. Comfy beds. Plenty of firewood.
WE HAD A GREAT TIME HERE. MS. LORI WAS VERY ATTENITIVE TO ANY NEEDS THAT WE HAD. BEAUTIFUL SEANERY. JUST OFF PAVEMENT.
My husband and I had a wonderful stay in Questa at the perfect cabin. We had just spent five nights in Santa Fe. We both needed the relaxed atmosphere, beautiful pond with trout, a fire ring for an enjoyable evening fire. This cabin is just a short drive to Red River. It was nice to look forward to coming back to this lovely well appointed cabin. I would love to come back and bring our family as there is another cabin on site.
Our stay here was fabulous! Modern amenities, including reliable wi-fi, and yet we enjoyed the rustic privacy the mountains and pines provide. The cabin is great, and the hosts are ever so kind and helpful! It was the perfect getaway for three old friends looking for a fishing, hiking and camping escape.
