Hadley Point Cottage #1 at Explore Acadia Cottages

This property was very nice, well equipped and very clean. Limited space for luggage but made it work. Good location with respect to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Would stay again.

We loved this charming cottage. It was quiet, cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed. The screened porch was an added bonus. The attention to detail in function, comfort, and decorating was noticeable and greatly appreciated! Sara was an excellent host, great communication and went above and beyond with providing local recommendations. The location is perfect for exploring Bar Harbor, Acadia, and the rest of Mount Desert Island. We enjoyed takeaway from The Chart Room and Thirsty Whale, and the pizza from Rosalie’s is some of the best I’ve had. Whale watching with Bar Harbor Whale Watch was fantastic. I really can’t say enough about this cottage and will definitely stay here again. Very highly recommended.

A comfortable bed, spotless environment and a safe location are our highest priorities. This cottage fulfilled all three. The area is beautiful. Our host went above and beyond to meet our needs. Don’t keep scrolling for property options. Book a cottage here!

Everything was as advertised. Extremely clean. Clear Check-in / out instructions. Binder of recommendations provided along with some Acadia books we could use for hiking and biking. Highly recommended.

Our accommodations were really nice. Inside is cute and cozy. Nice field area outside to watch the stars at night. Also a lovely screened in porch to enjoy. Location was great just minutes from acadia np and down town bar harbor with access to the free shittle!

Would absolutely stay again! Location is perfect for easy access to everything Acadia and MDI have to offer without dealing with the congestion of downtown Bar Harbor. Cabin is well equipped with new, clean supplies. Plenty of local food options nearby - several with packable sandwiches and snacks to grab for a day of hiking. So many little “extras” like laundry supplies, local guide books, and games for a rainy day put this over the top. Highly recommend for a clean, quiet sleep between your island adventures.

The cabin was new, so we expected it would be nice, but it was more. It was extremely clean, well laid out, and had everything we needed. The owners really went above and beyond... from the soap/ shampoo dispenser in the shower (fully stocked), the extra toilet paper, the kitchen with a full assortment of cups, plates, silverware, right down to the light switches that were labeled for which light each one controlled. It felt like our needs were met and then some. We were continually impressed each corner we turned to see another thoughtful consideration by the owner. If you're traveling to the Bar Harbor area and don't want all of the business and noise of crowds, this is a pefect location. It's just a short drive to both Bar Harbor and Acadia. In addition it was well located for other day trips we took to Schoodic Point and Winter Harbor, to great access to main roads for further trips down the coast to take in a few lighthouses. If you're looking for a place to stay in this area, i can't recommend this place enough. The owners truly care about making their guests happy and prepared the cabin like one might do for a member of their own family. Thanks for the great Maine memories!
