Awesome place loved this place we will be back

Loved the tree canopy and the filtered sunlight through the trees in the morning. Would've been 100 percent happy if there where comfortable seating for resting and sheets that stayed on the bed.

We really enjoyed our cabin in the woods. It was peaceful and quiet. We loved the knotty pine interior and jacuzzi hot tub. This is a great place for couples to stay. It is a little difficult to find though, especially at night. More signage or markers would help. Other than that, the cabin provides a cozy environment that is fun and safe. A great retreat for honeymooners or anyone who wants privacy.

This was my second visit to this cabin. I love it there. It is clean, quiet, comfortable and homey. It has everything my husband and I need. It is close to a grocery store, gas, shops, Cade's Cove, and more. I would recommend this cabin to anyone!

This cabin is close to town but also in a very quiet neighborhood. It felt very peaceful and relaxing. Over all it was pretty clean. I feel it could use a good spring cleaning to clear away cob webs and clean baseboards. It was comfortable though for two people. They really need to have a set of instructions on where and how to operate the air conditioner. We had to figure out which device on the wall was the correct one, and then figure out how to operate it. There were two dirty sponges left at the kitchen sink, which I think they should throw away after each use. Over all, I would recommend this cabin.

Absolutely loved this cabin, the hot tub was great, the location is perfect. We were close to town, but still felt like we were in the mountains. Would most definitely stay there in the future.

The cabin is immaculate and very accurately depicted.The very best part that we enjoyed was the magical setting in the Spring. Very serene with birds singing and green and white flowering trees surrounding the property. The fire pit was an added and appreciated perk!

Cabin did not have much of a mountain view but was tucked away in a smaller, more secluded valley which was really nice. The property was beautiful and the bed was pretty comfortable. Plenty of toilet paper and bath towels and rags were included plus the wifi was really quick. Id definitely stay again!

The cabin was perfect for our needs. A getaway. Relaxing, comfortable, and rejuvenating. We needed to cook our meals, so the kitchen and grill worked well for that. I had some back issues before we came and spent several opportunities in the Jacuzzi and hot tub. It was the perfect distance to the Smokies and other towns we visited. I really like the calmness of Townsend. Thinking on bringing our kids s next time.

Went here for our 25th wedding anniversary. Absolutely loved it. It was exactly as listed. Hot tub was nice, the fireplace, the bed was very comfortable. Can not go wrong with this cabin.

The cabin was beautiful and it was in a great location. It was quiet and pleasant but not to far from everything you want to do while visiting Tennessee!

The wood next to the hot tub was breaking. Other than that everything was great and i definitely enjoyed my stay

Stayed there Nov. 2 thru Nov. 30, 5 nights. It was a great stay. Anthony the owner was great on all ends. Only had one minor problem with the fireplace, but Anthony his maintenance guy, (same name as owner), was great and fixed the problem in 15 minutes, so it was not a disturbance at all. Place was clean and very functional. It was my wife and myself, so it was very accommodating. Our weather was rain and then very cold, but it kept us in the cabin a lot, which was a blessing. It allowed us to enjoy the cabin instead of running all over the place. Used the hot tub, which was very clean. It does not have laundry, but there is a very clean laundromat right down the street and the owners there are very nice. An IGA market is very close as well and it had everything we needed for our stay. Would we stay again? Absolutely.Anthony has 3 other cabins on the premises, but all are spread out enough for privacy. It is very close to town, but when you go back to the cabin, you are in the wilderness. Outdoor lighting should be put in by stairs, top of fridge was completely dirty, behind TV dusty, 2 bathroom towels stained, pillow cases didn’t even fit pillows that were on bed and jacuzzi had leaves inside when we opened it this all should be taken out with a net. Hooks for towels should be placed on the wooden privacy wall so you don’t place on dirty rails.

Such a cozy retreat! The hot tub was heated upon arrival which was a nice surprise. The cabin was very clean. It had all the cookware we needed and two different types of coffee pots - one for k cups and another if you want to brew a pot. Bathroom was great with good lighting. Bed seemed comfy but mattress was a bit uneven which we overlooked because everything else was absolute perfection! We’ll be back!

This is one of our favorite places to stay when in Townsend. It is always so clean! It is also close to everything.

What a special little peaceful place on the peaceful side of the Smokies! If we could rate more than 5 stars we definitely would. It was spotless with a comfortable bed, large bathroom and the fireplace, hot tub, grill and porch chairs/swing were added bonuses!!! We actually looked forward to coming back after a peaceful hike! If you’re looking for solitude in the Smokey Mountains this place is for you!!! Thank you for sharing this awesome getaway!

We stay here every year.We have a great time and love and enjoy our stay at any of these color door cabins. You have everything you need except shampoo, conditioner and body wash.It’s very clean and the kitchen is equipped for all your needs. Anthony (host) has always done a fantastic job.I recommend family and friends here too. We can’t wait to go back.

The cabin was comfortable and nicely appointed. The driveway as rougher than anticipated and was a concern for a vehicle with low clearance.

We've been coming to the Smokey Mountains for over 20 years and just uncovered this gem! The cabin was very private, was in a great location for short commutes to the park & restaurants and was EXACTLY how they described it. We loved sitting out by the firepit and being able to turn the fireplace on inside on a couple of the chilly nights. Would highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

The house was clean, I love this area! My only complaint is there was a dead animal carcass somewhere nearby that smelled absolutely terrible. Not the owners fault by any means, just nature. Thankfully if the wind was blowing in the right direction, it didn't smell too bad.

We have stayed at this cabin for several years. It is always clean, quiet and cozy. It is well equipped and close to everything we need. It is one of my favorites. I love the swing on the porch, the fireplace inside and just the area in general!

The cabin was nice. The location was nice. Only downfall is there were dogs barking loudly in the background behind the cabin. There would be times that it was quiet.

Peaceful stay in a perfect cabin. It had everything we needed to cook, stay, and relax!

The cabin was very clean and well kept. The neighborhood was pretty quiet except for some barking dogs for a short time after pulling in the driveway. Wi-fi was good. The grill outside on the deck came in handy. Kitchen was well stocked, except that maybe some additional sized pots/pans would be helpful. The driveway was pretty steep-might be helpful to note in the description. Overall, I would definitely stay at this adorable cabin again!

I arrived early and was unable to acess the cabin and looked at the check-in and saw 4pm. I would have like to have been able to access the cabin earlier than 4pm

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful setting. The cabin itself was exceptional with all expected amenities.

Cabin was clean and well-organized. It was close to everything in Townsend. There is some trouble with carpenter bees on the exterior side of the roof but we were never bothered by any of it- just a little sawdust on the back porch.

The green door cabin was charming and very clean! We were impressed with the layout and it had everything we needed and more. We enjoyed the added benefit of relaxing in the hot tub and by the fire pit. The location could not have been any more perfect and the yard was beautiful. The only thing I wished for in this cabin is a full length mirror.

We loved this cabin. It was perfect! Close to town but still hidden away. The house was lovely and the host was responsive and helpful. Only thing is the fire pit outside needs to be replaced. It still worked fine but it’s rusted out the bottom.

This was our second booking with Anthony & our first in the green door. Just as our last trip, this one was just as amazing. As always the cabin was spotless and perfect, the location is perfect for relaxing away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough we could drive to do things daily. We brought our kids this time and they enjoyed the hot tub which was very clean! We didn’t use the kitchen but it did come fully stocked with everything needed to cook had we wanted to, I highly recommend any of the colored door properties & we will be booking again next time we come down!

Very clean, fully equipped kitchen. Nice big bed with gas fireplace. Great value for the price and only minutes right down from the entrance to the Smokey Mountain Park. Will look to stay here again.

Knotty cabin was an incredible stay in Townsend TN. Close enough to pigeon forge, Gatlinburg and Sevierville. The cabin was well apportioned clean and quiet. Would recommend it to anyone going to the area.

The cabin was perfect for myself and my two daughters (12 and 14). They were forced to spend time with me :)The cabin was cleaned, had everything to make a full meal. I would never stay in gatlinburg due to all the crowds but Townsend was perfect!

We love staying at Green Door Cabin in Townsend. The location is excellent for us. We enjoy hiking and being away from the crowds of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The close proximity to Cades Cove is definitely a plus, along with all the new restaurants in Townsend. You feel like you are secluded in the mountains and yet you are not. Anthony is amazing and has always immediately addressed any concerns we have had regarding the property. Always clean with friendly staff! Will definitely be staying again for years to come!

Our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer.

We came to hike the Smokies and this place was wonderful. The hot tub at the end of the day to soak our weary bones was a bonus! Wish there was a washer/dryer on site, but we would stay again regardless.

This is at least our fourth year staying in this cabin! It has never disappointed us. It is clean, has everything we need, is close to Pigeon Forge, and is peaceful and quiet.I could sit in the swing on the porch all day long. There is a grocery with deli and gas very close! It is our favorite cabin!

The cabin was clean, nicely decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the rocking chairs on the front porch and the hot tub. It was very close to everything in Townsend, but still felt secluded and peaceful. Also convenient to Maryville and some wonderful antique shops. We would definitely stay there again next time we are in the area.

Wonderful cute cabin in a lovely little quiet wooded area. You just gotta love a place with a swing and rockers on the front porch and a hot tub on the back porch! We will be staying here again for sure.

My husband and I enjoy staying in Townsend. It’s a small quaint town without all the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge. It’s close to Cases Cove. This cabin was perfectly located close to the Visitor Center and the walking and bike trail. It had all the amenities needed and was perfect size for two people. We even saw a bear cross the property and go up a gravel driveway. Would highly recommend!

The property was fantastic. We think it would be awesome to come back with our friends and stay in all of the cabins since they are all together.

My husband and I stayed at this property while visiting Cades Cove. We came to ride the Cades Cove loop with our bicycles since the park is closed on Wednesdays to automobiles. This cabin is perfectly located in Townsend where we were able to ride our bikes up and down the paths along Townsend Township and also drive to the park quickly. The cabin is very neat and clean. I am pretty particular about where I stay and this cabin did not disappoint. My husband and I even commented that we believe it is the cleanest VRBO that we had ever stayed in. It is also perfectly decorated and the hot tub was amazing. There is a great notebook that lists all the local restaurants, attractions and things to do near Townsend. Thanks to the host and to the cleaning service.
