Great Smoky Mountain Family Get Away

Check-in process was smooth, communication with the host was easy and quick to respond. Parking is right outside the door for easy loading and unloading. Hot tub was clean and in a covered patio. Cozy woodsy feel inside and out. Very clean property. Only downside for us was the washer/dryer were in a separate room under the main cabin that you had to walk outside and down a hill to access the facilities. Thermostat was locked to cool and we wanted heat due to the cooler outside temperatures making the cabin chilly. However, the host did make it so we could adjust it after texting to ask. Would stay again if the need to stay in the area came about. Do not follow Waze to access the cabin.

This was our first time staying in the Townsend area and it was great. The cabin is really nice and we were very pleased with it. The hot tub was clean and we enjoyed using it a couple of times. The only issue we had was the grill had mold on the grate and we weren't able to grill our steaks (a minor inconvinience in our overall stay.) I would not have an issue with renting this cabin again.

We had a great time staying at this cabin. It was VERY clean and convenient to everything we wanted to do. Even saw a bear as we left out.

Me abd my husband needed a ppace to stay for Christmas where our children and grandchildren could come and open presents together. It was a lovely cabin with lots of space.

The cabin is beautiful, spacious, very clean, and an excellent rental for multi-aged family members or friends. The owner is very easy to work with and I can't recommend it enough!

This cabin is perfect for our group to get away for the weekend. We bring our motorcycles to the mountains to ride and this cabin has the perfect parking for the trucks, trailer, and bikes. It’s very clean, well maintained and we love staying here. We’ll be back next year!

We love this wonderful cabin. The directions owners gave us directions that were easy to follow. The cabin is spacious and beautifully furnished. At the beginning of our stay the owners checked in with us to see if everything to see if everything was as should be.

We took our son and his family(wife and 2 girls) and the cabin was perfect for us. We stayed in the downstairs bedroom and his family had the whole upstairs with plenty of room and beds for everyone. Wonderful large deck with hot tub and plenty of seating and room for everyone. Online pictures and description are very accurate.

We’ve been to a number of cabins in the Smoky Mountains and we really enjoyed our stay at this one. Townsend is so quiet, and we loved being close to Cades Cove plus some great restaurants that weren’t crowded. The upstairs was absolutely perfect for our kids to have their own space. The hot tub was awesome - the best one we’ve had at any cabin so far because it was so big and incredibly clean. Actually, the whole place was really clean. The king beds were very comfortable, as well as the two couches! The kitchen was huge and had what we needed - crockpot, pizza pan, egg pan, plenty of coffee filters. We loved the giant TV for watching football, plus the fireplace was great. And the owner was helpful; she responded to texts/calls quickly. I’d also add that getting to the cabin was very smooth. We’ve gone to cabins that are really scary to access haha! This one was great, right off the main road and not treacherous. Yes, there are cabins next to you and it’s not secluded but it FEELS secluded. We didn’t notice neighbors at all. (Honestly, the ONLY thing I wished for while there was some hooks for hanging towels. We brought swimming towels for the hot tub but never had anywhere to hang them to dry other than the outdoor deck. So the towels were really cold in December haha! Not a problem, just something random we noticed). We had a great time and will hopefully be back again!
