Great Shawnee Wine Trail Cabin in Relaxing Setting

Very spacious! Love that each level of the cabin had its own deck and the stairs to the fire pit. The only downfall was no WiFi. I get that people come to relax but I really missed my ability to send text messages.

Beautiful cabin furnished with all your needs.. very cozy, comfortable with plenty of room. We enjoyed the fire pit as well as the indoor electric fireplace relaxing in between visiting with family and enjoying the local businesses and scenery.

Very quiet and close to some wineries on the wine trail! Also super clean cabin!

This was our second time booking out both cabins for a friends weekend. The cabin was just as comfortable and intuitive to stay in as last year, and it was so nice to return somewhere and feel like we knew the layout!

Everything was great! The property was clean and the experience was amazing. The property is beautiful and we even saw a deer walking around!

The cabins are located in a very nice area. The setting is wooded and has a stream along the back of the property next to the sitting area and fire pit. We have stayed three times and look forward to another trip. They are always clean and neat, and are very user friendly. Very close to good wineries (Alto Vineyards, Von Jakob, Kite Hill, just to name a few) only a few minutes drive to several others. Bonus locations are Iron Whisk in Cobden (fantastic breakfast that we frequent each visit) and Havisham Bourban Bar in Alto Pass (what a neat place to sit and relax and sample many different drinks). There are many other opportunities to explore that we just haven’t taken the time to enjoy. These cabins and the area in general are a must to experience.

This cabin was great! Everything was clean, beds were comfortable, quiet atmosphere. Just an all around great place to stay!

We stayed at Cave Creek for graduation weekend! This was such a great place. It was welcoming, clean, and comfortable. Plus, we were only 5 minutes from multiple wineries! This was perfect. I was happy to be in a quiet spot. It was nice to avoid the busyness of downtown Carbondale. However, close enough to head there as needed! Highly recommend Cave Creek!

We were as comfortable in the cabin as we are in our own home. It was great having laundry machines (we were staying with 4 kids ages 5 to 12). The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Be careful the water out of the faucet can get steaming hot. We enjoyed the fire pit. Would recommend renting both cabins for 4 families- the deck and fire pit is shared. The outside looks rustic but the cabin interior is quite well appointed.

The cabins are located in a very quiet, woodsy area. One fear we had was that it might smell musty. We couldn't have been more wrong. The cabin was so inviting and incredibly clean. No musty smell at all. The pictures online show the property well. But, it is even more beautiful in person. The beds were comfortable, linens and towels were high quality and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. There is a nice gas fireplace and a nice fire pit outside. I would definitely recommend this property. Roger and Shirley (owners) were delightful to deal with as well.

We booked both cabins for a friends getaway. The generous accommodations had plenty of room for everyone to have enough space, enjoy their quiet, and spend time together. The location is convenient to the outdoor activities we had planned for and plenty of restaurants. We will definitely be back!

We've stayed here a couple of times now and the cabin is always in excellent shape, clean and very well maintained, well stocked, and just a joy to rest in. The check in and check out process are easy, and policies and costs are well communicated clearly and early. At this point, we've stayed in quite a few places in the area trying to find the one we like the best. At this point, we've found it.

Loved our couples get away weekend at this cabin. It’s well equipped and conveniently located to many area attractions. Look forward to staying here again.
