Stayed Mar 11, 2024This cottage was better equipped than most hotel rooms and had WAY more charm. The neighborhood had great atmosphere with huge live oaks draped with Spanish moss. The location was so convenient. The host was very attentive to anything we might have needed, but most needs were anticipated. We had a great time!

Stayed May 29, 2025Perfect little spot for a stopover for a night or two if you have a long drive up or down 95. My wife and I stayed there with our puppy. 2 miles to 95 and everything was walkable. Friendly neighborhood and very close to the water. Bungalow was very clean and had what you needed for a short stay. A great alternative to getting a hotel.

Stayed Jul 11, 2024Loved visiting Darien and visiting family. This cottage was just right: close to the action and a good restaurant, but private. We walked to dinner and to the local open air arts market. You'll want to find the stairs to the colonial era tabby ruins - that opens up the harbor, up close and personal. Plus, you won't need to go to Brunswick for coffee or wine - there are at least 3 places plus a shop with beans, honey, and local produce that you can get to by perambulation. Highly recommend this cottage. It's a quiet welcome break from the summer heat in-between adventures and a retreat all by itself.

Stayed May 18, 2024Loved the friendly neighborhood and homes. Enjoyed kayaking, boating, and restaurants and scenic area. Screening the porch and adding a place to hang clothing would be a nice addition . Hope to stay again on the way south!
