Great Mountain Views, Family Friendly, Hot tub, 5 miles to Downtown Blue Ridge

The cleanliness of this cabin on the inside was great. We loved sitting on the porch listening to the birds and just enjoying the peace and quiet. We had an enjoyable stay at Serenity and would consider returning on a future trip.

Check-in was easy and great. Patio still is covered in pollen( per an earlier review). The hot tub was clean and relaxing. Tub didn't drain well so stood in dirty water during shower. Gross. That may be the cause of the molding shower liner. Didn't realize it until we arrive that we stayed here 2 years ago. Didn't have the tub drainage issue then. Trees need to be trimmed so there is a view. Overall a good stay but need a few things addressed.

It was a nice place. The only thing we had as a negative was a power outage, but it was right before we went to bed.

Cute little cabin in the woods. Very peaceful, we lived being up in the canopy of the trees while out on the porch. We would definitely rent again!

Unfortunately, our stay at Serenity Cabin was far from 5 stars. Immediately upon arrival, my husband and I discovered the primary toilet was broken. The host sent out a plumber, but he didn't come until the next day. Plumber came late and stated it could not be repaired until AFTER our stay, so my husband had to manually turn the water on and off after EVERY flush all weekend.The cabin itself was clean inside, but the deck furniture was extremely dirty and appeared not to have been cleaned in months which took away from the serenity experience we booked for. Guests should also know the second bathroom is two flights downstairs which was very inconvenient as we are older with bad knees. The road to the cabin is VERY steep gravel with ruts. Definitely suggest 4WD going up and down. To make matters worse, the owner, Adrian, promised a discount for the inconvenience but has since stopped responding to our messages after multiple outreach attempts. Disappointing experience overall.

Great communication with the Host. Cabin was beautiful and just as described. So enjoyed a cozy getaway with the incredible Mountain Views and convenient to town of Blue Ridge & hiking trails. Highly recommend and will come back again!

We had an amazing time. The cabin was beautiful and peaceful. The hot tub was perfect for beautiful sunrises and sunsets. We enjoyed a fire every day. The cabin was very clean with plenty of blankets and comfortable furniture. The views were gorgeous, and the drive up to the cabin was not bad. The hosts were very responsive and you can tell they take pride in being excellent hosts. We will definitely book again at Serenity!!

WE HAD A BLAST !!!Our stay at Serenity was unforgettable wonderful, every day was well spent. Very peaceful and relaxing, while taking in the breath taking view. The cabin was clean and equipped with everything needed. I didn’t need to contact the host during our stay, but it was very easy to reach them prior to check-in. I highly recommend Serenity for your next gateway!!!

Nice cabin with a beautiful view. Communication with the owners was very easy and they were very responsive. You definitely need an all wheel drive if you go there during winter or rainy season.

We have stayed any many cabins in the Blue Ridge area. For what we paid for this cabin we were very disappointed! The cabin had such a bad musky smell as if it had been not used for quite some time. We had to get Lysol to spray and open the door to try and air it out. The outside patio furniture you could not sit on for the mold and pollen . Cobwebs on all the windows so not a pleasant view when looking out them. We had to clean mouse droppings out of the bathroom. The main bathroom with a shower did not drain well so you stood in water while taking a shower.

The property and scenery were beautiful. The drive up is a bit rough but it is a cabin on a mountain so it's to be expected. Overall it was a great stay and the cabin was great.

Other than the driveway and not having 4WD, this house was perfect. Within 20 min of downtown but secluded. Stunning views and the hosts were very responsive. The one lane gravel roads are a little unnerving but once there, everything was perfect. Hot tub was perfect, foosball and games for family nights and the porches are perfect for reading or napping!

We enjoy this cabin and what it offered. Loved the hot tub. The owner was very responsive. Good thing he had a bear proof garbage can!! It is very cozy cabin and well stocked. The road is full of divets and pot holes and driveway is difficult getting in and out. We had AWD, thank god for dry weather. Good location to everything.
