We had an amazing week at Grandpa’s Cabin. The cabin was just what we wanted, rustic and simple. It was across the road from Lake Five and had its own dock. We spent a lot of time there. Then it was such a short drive to the West Glacier National Park entrance that we went there in the morning and played on the lake in the afternoon. We enjoyed the fire pit, too and it was well stocked with wood. We had deer walk through the property very near us. There were plenty of supplies such as blankets, pillows, towels, TP and paper towels. My girls loved the bunk house feel of the back room with 3 queen beds lined up with curtains in between. The older kitchen supplies and games in the closet gave us the same feel of visiting a grandparents’ cabin. Ryan stopped by to check the propane for the grill and was very nice and concerned that we had everything. It was great to hear him talk about his family’s love of this cabin and the great memories they have from spending time there. We now have our own. We would definitely go back there.

We had a great time in the West side of Glacier. Everyone was clean, except the floors. While the floors looked clean, they left the bottom of my kids feet black, if they were barefoot. The cabin isn't big and not a lot of room for 8 people. But it did have a cozy camping feeling that we thought was fun. My teenagers thought the record player was interesting and loved listening to the different records. My kids loved playing on the private dock in the evenings.

We loved this place. The surrounding is tranquil. The lake is beautiful. The kitchen is fully equipped. The only complaint we had is a bit lack of privacy. The large bedroom does NOT have its only direct inside access to the bathroom! Sleepers in it needed to either go through the master bedroom or outside through the porch and the front door, which was rather inconvenient during the nights.

I LOVED this property!!! The location was great, near the park entrance and restaurants. It was very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the fire pit out back and the lake. It was exactly what we were looking for.

We primarily used this a a place to sleep. Glad it had a heat pump (cooling or heating) in the primary sleeping room. Kids also had fun swimming from the dock, which is located across the street.

We had a great time and enjoyed AC in the large bedroom. Saw deer in the yard every evening. Very relaxing and fun to but on a Disney vinyl at bedtime. No coffee provided so make sure to bring your own coffee.

My family spent our summer vacation at Grandpa's Cabin. We visited Glacier National Park several times conveniently located only a few minutes away. Some days we stayed at the cabin and played on the lake. The private dock was a wonderful spot to lounge, jump into the water, and launch our SUP. We appreciated the fun records and record player and AC. The cabin was very clean, organized, and had everything we needed to have a great vacation. Thank you!

We stayed at grandpa’s cabin for five nights, good location to glacier national park. Quaint and clean cabin. Perfect for the two of us. If staying at the cabin with children or another couple, the second bedroom has three full beds, but would need to walk through the master bedroom to get to anything else in the cabin, such as the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. There is a door if you want to walk outside and come in the front door to avoid walking through the master.
