Grand View Lodge -New Listing With Room For The Family

No electricity in 1 bedroom and the bath on the second floor. Two doors on main floor had issues and needed repair. Outside deck was filthy from trees and birds - couldn’t sit on any furniture. Lower deck needs cleaning and repairs. Kayaks were full of leaves and dirt. Not all windows could be opened due to dysfunctional cranks. A little pricey given the work that needed to be done. Rusty did a great job the day he came to fix some of these issues.

The kitchen was very well stocked. The beds were all very comfortable and we had a great time. The games and videos were a nice addition we weren't planning on having there. There is only 1 fridge which made some challenges for having food storage for everyone. (This is why I gave an overall 4 stars.)It snowed and we had freezing rain also which made the driveway challenging. I communicated several times while planning with the host and he was great to work with. The management company was very responsive while we were at the cabin. Great time was had by all and plenty of space for all of us.

Manage Cabins was great! Very nice property. Plenty of sleeping space, great location, very clean. The staff was very helpful. The only thing we couldn't figure out was where to take the garbage at the end of the stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at The Lodge. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen worked well for our large group and the view of the lake was nice.

Very spacious rental, comfortable beds and nice outdoor area with a fire pit. There are lots of steps, so may not be appropriate for everyone. If you have a group, there is lots of room to spread out. We enjoyed our stay.

Absolutely stunning location! The house and the land were perfect for our family getaway. Plenty of room for the kids to run around, loved fishing off the dock, and kayaking was great. I only give it 4 stars because the house clearly needs work. Missing light switches/remotes, TV not working, and some issues that seemed like the maintenance guy created and we found. Overall communication was great with the property manager and we were able to get most things resolved. I do find it odd that they don't provide towels, as you expect to have the same if not more amenities than a hotel room. We also only had one roll of paper towels that were gone pretty soon. I'm sure these things will get fixed after we've communicated it all and we all agreed we'd love to come back.

We had a wonderful stay and absolutely loved the house. Communication with the company was very easy. Only a few negatives. We never had internet which wasn't a big deal to us but to our kids it was like the world had ended. We tried to troubleshoot starlink ourselves but the system wouldn't even turn on. My contact said they would work on it but then I never heard anything again. Up where the router is there are 3 dead mice.The listing said there are 2 refrigerators but the one in the laundry room is a wine fridge and it doesn't work. It also says there is a double oven and there is not. I would just recommend updating the listing so it's current. The master bed has a huge lump in the middle so you literally have to sleep on each edge of the bed. Other than those We hope to be back next summer! We had so much fun!

There were issues with heat at the cabin and the management company moved us to a different cabin. All went well.

Over all it was a very nice stay the lake was a little over run with weeds but we enjoyed none the less!

We rented this for a family long weekend. There were 6 adults and 4 kids. The lake is a little weedy but the water is clear and the kids loved fishing off of the deck. We used the kayaks provided and enjoyed the lake immensely. We didn't see another boat the whole time we were there. The weather was a little cool so we didn't get to use the beautiful screen porch as much as we hoped. We loved the cabin.
