Large tri-level cabin in a quiet spot just a half mile walk into Summerhaven. Easy drive to Ski Valley, popular trails, and Rose Canyon Lake. Weston Lodge has room for everyone with two big primary bedrooms with king size beds, a huge loft that sleeps up to a 6, three living rooms, two kitchens, and three full bathrooms. Perfect for a group trip, where you can all be together but also sneak in some quiet time. The cabin is among the trees with amazing decks and hiking right out your front door.

The space
A quiet dirt road leads to the cabin, making this a very private property despite being so close to Summerhaven. Drivable in a car spring through fall, but trucks, SUVs, or 4x4 will make it easier. The last 0.2 miles does not get plowed in winter.

The upstairs/main area has a bedroom with King size bed, ensuite bathroom, kitchen, living and dining areas, and a large loft with two twin over full bunks, full bath, a lounge area, and two great decks. Downstairs living area has a bedroom with a king size bed, large bathroom, full kitchen, and living and dining areas. The downstairs is also equipped with a pack n' play and air mattress so kiddos can easily sleep nearer to guests in that bedroom.

Large wrap around decks on the two main levels and mini decks off each side of the loft allow for great views among the trees.

Please note the pictures of the spiral staircase connecting the multiple levels of the property - not ideal for young kids.

The two kitchens are stocked with all pots and pans, silverware, and dishes, plus spices, cooking oil, vinegar, ground coffee, and basic condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayo, syrup, and hot sauce). We also have a toaster, coffee maker (ground), air fryer, ninja sizzle grill, and pressure cooker available on the property.

While we strive to provide as many amenities as possible, cabin life has some limitations we want our guests to consider:

1. Water is limited on the mountain so please be considerate with your usage.

2. Critters large and small are a normal part of life in nature so don't be surprised to see them around.

3. Trash service is not available so you will need to haul your trash back down the mountain with you. There is a $100 additional charge if trash is left on the property.

4. Fire is a big risk on Mt. Lemmon so no outside fires, smoking, fireworks, or anything similar are allowed, no exceptions. Since this is one of 129 cabins that didn't burn down in the 2003 fire, it is surrounded by mature vegetation. Our insurer will not allow gas or charcoal grills, unfortunately, so we have an electric ninja sizzle flat top for outdoor grilling.

5. There is limited cellular service at this property. We do have Starlink WiFi, which works great, but it can have rare interruptions as this is a remote location. Streaming works well, video calls are iffy.

6. Once snow starts to stick around, Weston Lodge is only accessible on foot. There is parking along Turkey Run road at the bottom of Guthrie, and you'll need to walk up 0.2 miles to the cabin.

7. This is a rare pet-friendly cabin. To help us keep it that way an additional $75 pet fee will be collected for cleaning supplies and general wear caused by pets.

8. The winters are hard on the deck paint, FYI.

The home is beautiful and we know you'll have a wonderful time experiencing nature and all it has to offer with the added bonus of comfy beds and full bathrooms!

Guest access
Nest locks are used on both front doors for access.

Cabin is located 0.2 miles up a dirt road. Once you arrive there are two parking spots (one outside each entrance).

Once snow starts to stick around (usually January - March), Weston Lodge is only accessible on foot. There is parking along Turkey Run road, and you'll need to walk up 0.2 miles to the cabin.

If water happens to be turned off at the property (the water company does this occasionally) there is a turn on near the road by the upstairs parking spot. Open the lid to the in-ground hole closest to the road (there are two) and turn the handle at the back of the hole so it points toward the cabin.

Other things to note
This is a gorgeous cabin, unique for the area, and will offer a wonderful relaxing place to enjoy everything Mt. Lemmon has to offer.

There is no A/C, but it is not needed due to the positioning of the cabin and the tree cover. There are ceiling fans in the loft. Central and radiant heat for cold days in the winter. Central heater is loud when blowing, but it doesn't turn on for long once the cabin has been heated. We also have space heaters available.

Please closely review the entire listing to ensure it is the right fit for your group!

This cabin is, as it says. I liked the minimal check-in and check-out process. Most importantly, the cabin was a great place with plenty of space. It is beautifully upgraded and yet still gives off the cabin feel. With two kitchens, three TV watching spaces, and plenty of decks, this cabin is worth its price. Plus, it is really well stocked, including extra pillows, throw blankets, kitchen appliances, and entertainment like games, puzzles, and books, which are huge bonuses. We took extra fans, but didn't use them. Probably could have once in the middle of the night, but it was not unbearably hot. We did open doors and windows throughout the day and morning and closed them as the nice breezes would come through and cool it down enough. Since the heat rises, the first floor is the coldest floor, and the third was the warmest. The drive-up and parking are a little nerve-racking, but it's to be expected with narrow, winding mountain roads. However, I did drive my Chrysler Pacifica up with no major issues. I would book this cabin again in the future.

We recently stayed at this cabin and had a mix of positive and negative experiences. Pros:* Spacious cabin with a great layout. The loft area with two bunk beds worked especially well.* Two fully stocked kitchens with cookware, utensils, and even seasonings.* Secluded location that still offers convenient access to town.* Pet-friendly.* Plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the surroundings.* Excellent hot water supply.* Pack and Play availble for use. Cons:* The road leading to the cabin is very steep, rocky, and challenging to navigate. My car nearly slid backward while climbing the hill, which was nervewrecking.* The cabin was noticeably dusty upon arrival, particularly on the stairs and dressers.* The lower level had a mild mildew odor.* Guests are required to remove and dispose of their own trash when checking out, which was an unexpected requirement.* We experienced a leak from the top-floor bathroom into the second floor. I notified the owner but did not receive a response.* The stove and dishwasher in the second-floor kitchen appeared quite old.* After checkout, the owner attempted to charge an additional cleaning fee, claiming the property was left excessively dirty. We cleaned up after ourselves, washed and put away dishes, removed our trash, and left the cabin in good condition, so the charge felt unwarranted.

Two kitchens, stocked for cooking, pans, spices, condiments. Comfortable couches on all three levels. Each level had it's own bedroom, bathroom and living room with a TV on each. Beautiful wooden spiral staircase. We all had a great time. The cabin is nice and private. I highly recommend!!

Yes, the kitchen was well equipped the cabin felt cozy. Just one slight suggestion. The throw rugs in the two kitchen areas could be (almost were) a tripping hazard for older people. The main large area rugs were fine. If some kind of backing could be put on those rugs in might be helpful. Not a complaint, a suggestion.

Well appointed property. Lots of room for a family group. Well located a short walk from Summerhaven. Comfortable beds. Appreciated the opportunity to bring dogs. There is a plank on the back deck where the wood has rotted through, but otherwise it was lovely.

We had a lovely time at this home. The cabin itself was secluded just enough up in the mountain so you could feel like you were hiding out all alone in the world, while still being close enough to walk and enjoy the town. It was quiet and so relaxing. We had a minor hiccup when we arrived, but Will was super quick to respond and get everything taken care of.My family had such a nice time and we all highly recommend staying at this home!

We had a great experience staying at this cabin. There were two families, which consisted of 4 adults and 6 kids. It was nice that the adults could each have their own master bedroom with an on-suite bath, and the kids enjoyed the loft upstairs with their own bath. There was plenty of room for everyone! We also enjoyed the many decks this cabin has. Definitely recommend!
