Gorgeous mountain views!

Everything was clean! Had everything we needed to make all of our meals! Views were amazing!

Amazing views and serene setting! The house was spotless and well appointed. We enjoyed the proximity to Asheville, the views from the hot tub, and a fun, family game of Scrabble!

Great stay in this exceptionally clean, comfortable, well stocked cabin. The views were amazing from the decks. The owners were very responsive, the entire stay exceptional. The kitchen contained everything you could possibly need. Beds super comfy and thick soft towels. The driveway and stairs are daunting at first sight, but the turnaround on road and at top of driveway make it all do-able, and the steps into house are worth it for the view. We had a great 3 night getaway at this home and will definitely return.

We enjoyed our long weekend at the Lazy Bear Cabin! The home had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay and we were very comfortable. The views were amazing and we would love to stay here again.

Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay over New Years. The cabin was so warm and cozy and even in the winter the views were gorgeous. The home was clean and exactly as described. While the cabin is a quiet escape surrounded by nature, it is close to all the Asheville has to offer. We would love to return someday!

The cabin size was just right for four of us. It was nice going into the hot tub after a day of adventures such as white water rafting and shopping through the towns. We would definitely recommend staying.

The cabin was extremely clean, well stocked with everything we needed and the beds were very comfortable. Breathtaking views from the deck. Saw a momma bear and her 4 cubs! The road and driveway in were paved and perfect for the adventurous as they were steep climbs up the mountainside. Many steps from the driveway to the house so you definitely get a leg work out. Perfect location for our visit to Biltmore and Chimney Rock State Park. Asheville is rebuilding but many roads shops and restaurants are open!

Arrived at this Beautiful home only to find a super beautiful home for our vacation! The only issue was THERE WERE NONE! Perfect in everyway. I'm fussy about cleanliness, no fussy here! Hated to leave. Thank you so much.

We loved everything about this property! The view was incredible and we loved being tucked away. It was very clean and we had everything we needed. Lisa was extremely helpful and we will not hesitate to book here or at another one of her properties next time we come!

My husband and I loved the privacy, stunning views, and cleanliness of this cabin. There were many special touches from the owners that made our stay extra memorable. We didn't feel that anything was missing that we needed. We are planning to come back again!

We were so impressed with the cleanliness of the cabin and how well it was stocked with everything we needed for the trip. The only thing we needed from town were the groceries that we ate. There were extra towels, toiletries and even spices in the kitchen for us to use. We were there celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary and loved our time there. The hosts thought of everything ! We would definitely love to go back!!

We were so happy with the cabin and its view of the gorgeous mountains. It was perfectly clean and comfortable and had everything that we needed for a week of downtime. It's an easy 30-minute jaunt to Asheville and the city's many things to do. We couldn't have been happier.

We had a great week in the mountains and exploring the area. The house had very convenience you could need. The view is spectacular and we found great restaurants, wine bars and breweries in Asheville just about 12 minutes away

The views, the cabin, the location - all spectacular. Don't be put off by the driveway or stairs. Both were perfectly manageable if you either grew up in a more rural area or just went into it with a can-do attitude. It's all worth it for the views and seclusion.

Cabin was amazing. Super clean, amazing views. Stairs to the property were a workout, but that was clearly explained in the description. Cabin has all the necessities you will need. Great diner down the street and 2 breweries and grocery store close by. Will definitey stay here again.

We loved our stay, the lazy bear is quiet and peaceful. It was perfect for our week where we wanted to unplug and relax, while not being too far outside Asheville for breweries and dining. 10/10 would recommend

Centrally located cabin high on a mountain side with breathtaking views. Not only the view of mountains, but the night sky was breathtaking. Waking up with snow one morning, then going to sit in the hot tub having your coffee was amazing. The bed was very comfortable. Not having anyone around is another bonus. Loved watching a beautiful woodpecker just hanging out . The deck is great for relaxing. The grill made it even better. It was way more than what we were expecting! The area is recovering there is plenty to do, so come visit and help people get their lives back to normal..

If you can conquer those steps, the view is totally worth it! Beautiful cabin that was perfect for our trip. The view is beyond breathtaking and I loved that we could open all the windows to get that crisp mountain air. Great property for adults, and the owner was so kind to keep me updated during the aftermath of hurricane Helene. Would definitely recommend the stay!

This place was perfect! It was exactly what we were looking for and as described. A secluded getaway with beautiful views but close to the city and a short drive from some incredible experiences—mountains, waterfalls, hiking trails, breweries, shopping. The cabin was very clean and I can’t think of a single thing we could have needed that wasn’t provided. The host communicated very well. We had no questions because she provided all the info before we had to ask.

My girlfriend and I booked this location as the listing captured our attention from the start. We had never taken a trip like this before, and we did not know exactly what to expect. From the time we arrived we were simply blown away! The location, the beautiful property and the amazing views alone made this trip worth every moment of our time. Great cabin. Amazing view. Extremely peaceful. Comfortable beds and everything you need. However, just be aware that it will require some effort getting all your luggage and groceries up and down the stairs.
