This spacious pet friendly mountain home offers everything you'll need for a fantastic getaway. With a large open kitchen, a Tuscan wine cellar-themed dining room with an eight-foot table, a large screen SmartTV, a private hot tub, a custom-built billiards table, panoramic mountain views, three luxurious bedroom suiteswith large private balconies and jetted spa tubs en suite, and a baby grand piano, the list of amenities goes on and on. This gorgeous Helen-Sautee Nacoochee vacation rental is the getaway of your dreams.

Surrounded by an acre-and-a-half of sweet smelling trees and woods to explore, this home is private and quiet. Helen is near enough for a quick trip at seven miles, and outdoor adventures await at Unicoi State Park, home to Anna Ruby Falls, Unicoi Lake, and a beach for swimming and canoeing, just four miles away.

With soaring ceilings, gorgeous panoramic mountain views, and large windows on both the first and second floors, you can see forever. There is plenty of natural light, and the solid wood walls and ceiling add a truly comfy yet sophisticated log cabin feel to this beautiful home. Watch a movie on the large 65-inch Smart TV and settle for an entertaining afternoon. If you're feeling competitive, grab a cue and play a game of pool upstairs in the billiard room, watch your favorite sports on a large SmartTV, or just log onto the free WiFi to check on the goings-on back home. Beautiful mountain views help set the scene for a lovely vacation.

Imagine a beautiful wine cellar-themed dining room to compliment the neighboring vineyards and wine tasting rooms; you will feel as though you are enjoying fine dining in a Tuscan wine cellar. The eight-foot wood dining table, with eight plush dining chairs plus four additional chairs, provides you with seating for up to 12. You will feel as though you have left the country without leaving your vacation home. This fully equipped kitchen is ready for you to prepare a gourmet or casual meal. Enjoy modern stainless steel appliances plus a kitchen island, providing extra space for food preparation, appetizers, or wine tasting space, as well as a hanging wine glass rack with souvenir wine glasses from the area wineries.

There is a very nice grill for a barbecue through the French doors, which fully open onto the deck overlooking gorgeous mountain views. If you prefer outdoor dining, there is a large table and extra seating just outside; all the decks have decorative area rugs for comfort and ambience. Candle lanterns are on automatic timers, providing candlelight throughout the house without even lighting the candles. They just pop on at dusk. A dishwasher keeps cleanup time to a minimum. There is a large shelving unit in the laundry room for storing lots of groceries. There is also a beverage refrigerator for beer, wine, and other drinks in the billiard room.

As the stars come out, sink into the hot tub and soak away all of your cares. There's nothing like deep heat and fresh air for supreme relaxation. Bar stools accompany the outside bar next to the hot tub. Holiday lights add a festive feel while you're relaxing in the hot tub. Turn the heat down and enjoy it as a wading pool on summer days. There is also a full-size horseshoe game that you can play as singles or in teams.

Guests will enjoy their stay in this luxurious house. Each of the three bedrooms is a suite, making this an ideal couples' retreat. There are two matching bedrooms upstairs and an equally matching bedroom downstairs; all bedrooms are equal in size. All of the rooms are decorated with theme bedding and one features a four-poster bed. Each has a private balcony and an en suite bathroom with a jetted tub. If you need a bit more sleeping space, there are two futons that can sleep two guests apiece. In addition to the en suite bathrooms, there is a half bath downstairs. For your convenience, there's a private, full-size washer and dryer.

Take a hike at the beginning of the world-famous Appalachian Trail or to one of the many dramatic waterfalls, or try the easier walk on the Dukes Creek Falls Trail. Cool yourself off by floating down the Chattahoochee River or zipline though the canopy of Unicoi State Park. The Aerial Adventure is like no other, with 19 zip lines and seven suspension bridges that range from 75 to 2,000 feet in length and heights up to 100 feet. With beaches, waterfalls, hikes, parks, and natural beauty, North Georgia is the place to be.

North Georgia is also home to many sensational vineyards and wineries within 20 to 30 minutes. Yonah Mountain Winery is just 26 minutes away; Frog Town, Three Sisters, and Kaya Vineyards are all grouped together just 30 minutes away; Habersham Winery is 15 minutes away; and Serenity Cellars is just 22 minutes away. They are all beautiful vineyards and wine tasting rooms; wine tours are available, so there is no need to drive.

Downtown Helen is a quaint alpine village with golf, miniature golf, and quaint German restaurants with a little bit of everything for everyone to enjoy. This summer will see the opening of a new alpine rollercoaster that's guaranteed to thrill you. Try rock climbing or go-karting. There are endless things to do.

*The fireplace is only ambient. No fires, via wood or even candles, should be lit in the fireplace. Enjoy the outdoor firepit!

Check-in was easy, house was wonderful. Just wish I had not missed the part about bringing our own firewood. I had looked forward to enjoying the gorgeous firepit area.

This home looks just like the pictures! It's beautiful inside and the outdoors is stunning. The amenities were perfect; the only things we needed were more bath towels!! The details throughout the house are so warm, and fun; the ambient fireplace was a daily prelude to the firepit in the evenings after discovering all to be enjoyed in the surrounding areas including Helen, hiking, waterfalls, wineries, lovely towns, great food.A fabulous visit and we hated to leave!

The house is roomy an furnished nicely. However, there were issues with water pressure and hot water. Also, the home was dirty - floors and countertops especially. I wasnt aware we had to unload a full dishwasher first, but we did. There were cockroaches in the keurig... where you place your k-cup and in th e water tank. WE DID NOT USE! WE WASHED EVETYTHING BY HAND PRIOR TO USING- had to purchase dish soap 1st.Had to call 1st thing n send pics of a broken vanity doirs in the upstairs bedroom bathroom. The property could be maintained a bit better.

We used this time as a family gathering from a few locations. The house location was perfect. The amenities at the house were nice, with the hot tub, fire pit and porches. Check-in/out was easy and we could pop over to Unicoi within minutes and downtown Helen within 10. The reason I couldn't give 5 stars was for simple fixes that just weren't done. Although the house seemed clean at first glance, we are pretty sure it hasn't been dusted in a long time. The lighting was covered with a good layer of dust, and the wine class holder in the kitchen dropped small balls of dust into the food we had laid out on the island. Nasty! Behind the piano and strung from chandeliers were lines of spider webs. As one of us was about to get into the shower upstairs, we noticed the shower pull didn't work. How inconvenient! When we reached out to the rental company, they said that they knew about it from the previous renters and it needed to be fixed. Why wasn't it fixed before we rented it? The home is great for families, but take your own soap! Each bathroom was supplied with one makeup remover pad. We had to go into town to buy soap for the kitchen and bathrooms. Please consider upping the quality of hand towels in this home. We had 2 paper-thin towels that were not absorbent. When paying this much, it would be nice to have decent hand towels (easy, cheap fix). We prepped food one night during our stay and had to wash the pans prior to cooking. Very nice home, cleanliness was average.

Beautiful home. Close to town. Big hot tub. Propane fire pit was nice. Balcony on every room which was very nice. Bathroom in every bedroom very nice&convenient. The light above the hot tub was out. The piano was out of tune-we are a piano playing family so this kinda sucked. Some of the tvs are outdated. We couldn't get the tv in the downstairs bedroom to work. The rug in the kitchen&under the sofa table are dirty&discolored. There are no dressers in the bedrooms for clothes. There were lots of cobwebs. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty-like dusty. The shower curtain liners needed to be replaced. The showers in the upstairs bathrooms need some attention-the handles weren't working for the shower part. In one bathroom it was very loose&about to fall off. There was a pair of dirty underwear left in the dryer from the previous guest. We found a fake eyelash on the floor by the pool table. The balcony railing was broke-the one where the fire pit is and could cause a potential fall. The silver wear in the drawers were dirty as well. You can also hear the toilets flush in the downstairs bedroom-sounds like its coming down the wall-it's not but just pointing this out if you are a light sleeper. The unit outside the downstairs bedroom is also right outside the window by the bed and very loud if you are a light sleeper like me. So overall for the price I wasn't impressed. If it was cleaner and the showers worked properly I wouldn't say it was too bad.

The home is absolutely beautiful. All if the special lighting sets, inside and out, is a wonderful mood setter as well. The hot tub was great during the cool evenings.Everyone enjoyed having their own suite and the pool table was a plus.

Loved our stay at Soaring Eagle. My family and I had a great experience. The hosts were very helpful and had great service. The home is a beautiful mountain cabin, tucked away in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood with amazing view of the mountains. It’s a great size and has all amenities you may need. It’s short drive from downtown, Unicoi State Park and Anna Ruby Falls.
