Reconnect with nature and each other at this unforgettable escape. The cabin was built by us from lumber obtained off the site. It is surrounded by cedar trees and the sounds of nature. The large windows allow a breeze and illusion of sleeping in the trees. Prepare a meal over the firepit and enjoy it at the picnic table. After exploring our property(see photos) relax by the firepit in the Adirondack chairs. The cabin is off grid with solar lighting and battery bank for charging devices. Most cell carriers get service.
Activities onsite: hiking, kayaking, fishing.

Everything was unique about the property. Just getting there an awesome adventure in itself. I had to call them very late in the night and they were still their very very friendly selves. And it wasn't a problem at all

Quiet, peaceful and serene. The calming rush of the river below, which is constantly heard, is soothing and relaxing. Though neighbors are a distance away, you still feel isolated. Wildlife all around, with great walks right from the door. I highly recommend.

Cozy cabin that the owners have really offered you everything you need to enjoy your stay. Very much off beaten path if going to stay recommend make all your plans to enjoy cabin and walking down to water which FYI is a good hike for anyone and also not planning on leaving once you arrive long ways in and out.

The information being listed about the property is nothing like described. Not to mention the property owners have to drive you to the top of this mountain. There is no road at all. My husband has a 60,000 vehicle that is 4x4 and we couldn't make it up it. The trees were so close together it took us 4 ever to get turned around. Not to mention we get there at 3:30 a.m. and the whole situation was Weird. I had a bad vibe about it. I lost over $300 and still had to rent a motel room for 4 days. Our dates was dec.28 -jan1..

Host were amazing with communication. We had everything we needed. You must have a 4 wheel drive to get to the property but once you get there it’s worth it. The outhouse could have been a little closer but it wasn’t horrible. We will definitely come back when it gets a little

This was a great little getaway that getting to was an adventure in itself! Loved getting a little off grid and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Anyone that wants to get out into nature and away from it all for a little while will have a great time here.

My boyfriend and I had decided that we wanted to start going to a different state every year for vacation. This was our first vacation together and it couldn’t be more prefect! The host are extremely kind and understanding, they give only the best to their guests to insure an unforgettable experience. The drive up was beautiful, and the cabin and surrounding areas was more breathtaking than the pictures this listing shows. The cabin is so cozy and they supply all the essentials for the stay. You can easily hike to a beautiful lake and up the mountains to the ridge. This stay will always hold a close place in our hearts and we would recommend booking with these lovely host to anyone!
