it is a different feeling than a normal hotel. Beside there is no internet inside the house and not a little sink in the room, everything is good!
Clean, pleasant, spa-like bathrooms. Enjoyed the wine.
As the mother of 4 children, I rarely get time by myself. Now that they are a little older, I wanted to take the opportunity to spend some time by myself in a rural but not *too* rural environment. This was just right. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Amazing experience!!! My boyfriend and 2 pups stayed for the weekend while we were in town for graduations and weddings so it was just what we needed and then some!! Very dog friendly and very clean. It rained for us all weekend so we didn’t experience the whole glamping side but we were primarily just there for sleep and to work well with our doggies! Complimentary snacks, water, coffee, wine, dog bowls/shampoo etc … we were blown away by how much there was to offer though we didn’t much! We will definitely be back :) 10/10 recommend!
We wanted to spend time at Krause Springs and this is moments away. Only surprise is the bathroom facilities are remote from the cabin. They are swanky, but remote and communal. Made this old woman’s midnight pee run slightly more adventurous. The other glampers were very polite and friendly. Many were from other countries which was really nice. Will go back.
Definitely would come back and stay with them. Sweet people and it’s pet friendly my pup loved it!
We had a great time staying at one of the cabins in this gated area. Place was nice and clean, with a shared area for laundry, kitchen, and bath. Plenty of amenities and even dog friendly.
The cabin we originally rented turned out to not have a half bath in it. The owner was very gracious as we were their only guests that weekend and put us up in an adorable vintage RV. We are no longer spring chickens and require a bathroom. Great spot. Thanks for going above and beyond for us!!
The experience with Green Acres was fantastic! We wanted a weekend getaway with the dogs and this property was exactly that. Before arrival the property owner reached out and check on us, and even offered advice on pet friendly places to visit. Upon arrival we bumped into the owner Raymond who was very pleasant, he gave us a description of all the cabins on the property and a brief history on some of the unique RV campers. We stayed in cabin #1 'The Madison it was very clean and tastefully decorated, the bed was super comfy , tiny living cabin complete with a stocked mini fridge including a complementary bottle of wine! The bath house was spa-like very very clean with fresh fluffy towels. The bath house had a kitchen area stocked with everything you could think of to enjoy your stay. The owners thought of everything even doggie bowls incase you forgot to bring some for your dogs. We appreciated the thoughtfulness of the owners. One night we used one of the many charcoal grills under a small pavilion. If we had one wish would be that the property had a pool, however 3.5miles down the road is Krause Springs. We will be back with more friends and family to enjoy this one of a kind property.
This property has everything you could want from a 'Glamping' experience. The owners are incredible and went so far above and beyond when they designed this property. All of the little extras are what really make this property special. The clubhouse is full of amenities that few other stays offer (free washer/dryer, ice machine, snacks and goodies, and even a dog wash). The bathrooms and showers were so nice they made us want to remodel ours at home! The cabin itself was decorated wonderfully and was the perfect amount of space for 2 people.
I stayed at The Green Acres Spicewood for one weekend with my two dogs. Being a pet friendly place is what sold me to stay here. Green Acres has a dog shower, doggie bowls, dog toys and even dog towels. My two babies had lots of room outside to play, they had a doggie play area and waste baskets readily available. I loved the cozy tiny home cabin, it was well equipped with everything you need including snacks. Outside had a wonderful camping feel, you can grill, set a bomb fire, or just enjoy a meal on their outdoor tables, while watching their live stock. The owners were very friendly and responsive to all our needs. They had s’mores waiting for us in the well equipped bath house. The bath house had everything a house needs, two washers and dryers, coffee maker, snacks everywhere, fridge and freezer, comfy couches, and 4 restrooms, two of them with a big shower. My pups and I really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely stay here again!
