I've stayed at this cabin several times. I walked into the cabin and the room was flooded with gold -- from a grove of Sasafras trees off the deck, the leaves were bright yellow. Like magic!
This house was so welcoming, and had everything we needed to relax for the weekend.
My husband and I love the location of this house. Trailheads to hike the Linville Gorge are just out the backdoor! Very comfortable, well stocked, and well maintained home!
This cabin has great views, easy walking access to hiking and a lovely ambiance. This is our 4th year to stay here in August and we’ll be back!
My Wife, Son and I had a great stay at this cabin. We came to hike the Linville Gorge area and the location was perfect. The place was just as described, and would definitely recommend…
This is a very cute little cabin. It is in a neighborhood but manages to be secluded. And the views are amazing.
Very nice clean spacious cabin with a nice deck over looking the mountains. Good amenities. Great location.
We had another great stay at this cabin. We were in the middle of a two week trip to the area, after several nights in Blowing Rock we spent 4 nights at this cabin. We loved the peace and quiet. The cabin had everything we needed. The kitchen is well equipped and we had all our meals at the cabin. We loved the screened porch dining area. We spent our days relaxing at the cabin, going for long walks, and enjoying each other's company. Once again, at the end of our stay we were reluctant to leave. The only issue with this cabin that someone might need to take into consideration is that the bedrooms and full bathroom are downstairs. There is a half bath on the main floor, but the only shower/tub is downstairs. This is not a problem for us, but might be for someone with mobility issues. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom had plenty of towels, etc. This place is a 10/10 for us, and we look forward to returning for a 3rd visit someday.
This is our third time staying at this property. It has everything we need to relax and create memories after a day of enjoying the beautiful surroundings. One of our favorite places on earth.
We had the best stay at this lovely cabin. The views from the porch were great. Would love to stay again!
A lovely cabin in a lovely spot. Great for hiking in the Linville Gorge.
Our vacation was wonderful. Beautiful cabin in an excellent location. Everything we could have wanted was available. Location was perfect; we visited Linville Caverns and Linville Falls. Check-in was easy and Bobbie was a pleasure to work with. Definitely great family memories.
Exactly what we hoped the experience would be! The pictures really don't do it justice. We look forward to our next visit already. Only change... Stay more than 2 nights!
Classic old cabin with a lovely view and a perfect location. Well stocked, homey atmosphere, nice host.
We had a great time at the cabin, everything was very clean and the vibe fit perfectly with the mountainous surroundings. It is in a perfect location for any activities at the Linville gorge!
Best get-away spot yet!!!
We loved our stay in this cabin. Felt like home
Well organized renting process. Good instructions for check in and house operations. Excellent communication with owner.
Our group spent a week at this property: mighty relaxing, mighty fun, mighty rejuvenating. Very nice kitchen (and a decent grill) and supplies as we all like to cook. The fireplace added to the ambiance at night. Thank you!
Hiking trails are close by to this lovely cabin in a friendly community. The view from the deck is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the cool mountains.
This place has so much going for it. The location is amazing. The living area is spacious. The view from the deck is lovely and the screen porch is like a big cherry on top. We stayed 4 nights and planned a different adventure every day. Between Linville Gorge and the Pisgah Forest you would never run out of amazing nearby places to explore— much of it right outside your door.
The cabin is well furnished with cozy, eclectic decor. The deck and screened in porch were fantastic. Beds and bedrooms were quite comfortable. This is a cabin in the woods, so for us perfect cleanliness is not expected. Everything was clean enough, especially the important stuff. Enjoyed the firepit! The only concern we had was the lack of widow coverings on bedroom windows. There are no neighbors to look in, but we had two people who have fear of the dark issues. Would love to see this place in the winter!
We spent 3 nights at the cabin and wish we had spent more. The cabin was super clean, well stocked with basics, and we loved the view from the deck and screened porch. We enjoyed trips to Linville Falls and Wiseman's View and just hanging out at the cabin.
Perfect place for a father/ daughter bonding time! Quiet and cool, slept with windows open and no need for AC! Will definitely stay here again!
The cabin is very cozy and comfortable- exactly what we needed to decompress and recharge. Will definitely be returning. Thanks for having us!
Perfect location for exploring the Linville Gorge. The cabin was super cozy and very clean. Beautiful View. Our trip was even better than we imagined.
