Stayed Jun 27, 2025The cabin didn’t come with any cleaning supplies or trash bags. A first for any place I’ve stayed where they expect you to remove your trash. The river is not by the cabin, it’s a couple miles down the road. If you stay and it rains the parking area in the back will flood with almost a foot of water. Bring your rain boots. After doing the dishes with soap I bought and putting the trash in the bin they still tried to charge me a 100 fee. Ridiculous. Stay somewhere else

Stayed Mar 29, 2024For a cabin outdoor experience it was okay. Communication with the management was tricky--they never sent, or I never received the check in process until we actually arrived. WIFI was spotty, TV remote was in sofa cushion (my husband finally found it), bathroom had a leak somewhere, never figured it out and we lost power for almost 2 hours Easter Sunday. Owner did not respond very quickly BUT in hindsight it was Easter weekend so that could have been the issue. I thought I read somewhere it had hiking trails in back and a dishwasher but that must have been for another listing. I won't say we would never go back there again, we still had fun and the adult grandkids liked the bedrooms and space. I just think it being Easter weekend and our first time ever we were a little disappointed but know what to expect next time.

Stayed Apr 23, 2023We stayed 4 days 3 nights and loved every minute. Rustic charm, lots of pease and quiet and tons of wildlife. Meramec Springs is close and plenty of good places to eat In town. We plan on making this a regular get away!
