There's history in these here mountains! For a short time in the 1800's, Blue Ridge Georgia was a part of the gold rush. At Cabby's Cabin we've tried to capture a piece of that history for you to enjoy with the rustic furnishings and décor, but still offer all of the modern conveniences you love!

As you first pull into the circular driveway you'll immediately be taken away by the serenity of your four acre wooded retreat. Many guests say the first thing they notice is the peace and quiet that only nature can offer. Walking towards the entryway you’ll fall in love with the cabin’s quaint aspects from matching window shutters to the stone chimney. Follow the walkway through the screened porch and you will be welcomed into the screened lanai with your first glimpses of the breathtaking view. The entryway features double French and glass pane doors. With no rear neighbors in view for miles, you will not find any blinds to cover that view. Upon entering, you will immediately want to soak in the open and cozy feel of the three bedroom and two bathroom layout. The living room is adorned with an antler chandelier fitting of a lodge, a real wood burning fireplace, and luxurious amenities from comfortable couches to rustic handmade wood tables. Whether you want to relax indoors or outdoors you are sure to find endless activities. For those who prefer indoors, you’ll love the full reclining sofa and massaging recliner in front of your high definition 50” smart TV. With cable and high speed internet provided you’ll have available connectivity for streaming Netflix, Hulu, or all of your other favorites. For the music lovers, feel free to relax to your favorite tunes or dance the night away by playing your premade vacation playlist through the Bluetooth sound bar. You’ll also find the high speed Wi-Fi password in the welcome book for connectivity to all of your personal devices. In the adjoining kitchen and dinette you will find all of life’s modern conveniences with a breathtaking view out the oversized windows. Amenities include a Keurig coffee maker (be sure to bring your favorite K-Cups), stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and full cooking compliments including dishware and dining accessories. When you’re ready for bed, crawl into the soft fresh linen sheets with warm quilted blankets and plush pillows. The master bedroom features vaulted ceilings, a king sized sleep number bed, walk in closet, private bathroom with a garden tub, and a skylight. Both guest bedrooms share the guest bath and have queen sized beds, nightstands, closets, and lamps. When you wake up from your long nights rest, enjoy your morning coffee on the upstairs deck as the mountain fog and long range mountain views provide a breathtaking sunrise you’ll soon not forget. Make your way to the downstairs viewing deck to enjoy the relaxing rustic rocking chairs, love seat rocker, and bench swing. We’re not sure if it’s possible yet, but should you ever start to get cabin fever, venture down the road to the Benton Mackaye Trail. This four hundred mile trail crosses through three states, intersects with the Appalachian Trail three times, and happens to cut right through the neighborhood as it winds its way back into the wilderness. As you head into town keep an eye out for the white triangle trail markers painted on trees along the way to help hikers stay on the right course.

Whatever your favorite way to relax is, you’re sure to find it here in Blue Ridge. Cabby’s Cabin is a place for friends and family to come together, find rest, enjoy the simpler things, make lifelong memories, and who knows, maybe even find a little piece of your own gold!

Too small for six adults. Difficult drive on gravel road to cabin. Cabin needs maintenance such as kitchen drawers fall out when opened, holes in screen porch. I would not rent again.

The perfect retreat! I loved our stay and felt so at peace. The drive up was a bit daunting, but worth it! The reflections path was not discovered until the end of our stay, due to lots of rain (which I loved). It is a must to take this walk around the property, though. Grab a walking stick by the front door if you have any questions about your balance :-). So beautiful and serene.

Fire pit and game room is awesome. We had a lot of fun. It's in between Ellijay and blue ridge. Short drive to both.

I came to Cabby's Cabin for a solo birthday trip. It was the perfect place to unwind amd get away for a few nights. The cabin was clean and cozy. It was rustic but still had all the modern comforts. I loved relaxing in the hot tub while overlooking the mountains and listening to the multiple windchimes around the property. I also liked the reflection trail. The road up to the cabin was pretty well-maintained, though a little difficult to climb in my nissan rogue. My tires did spin out a bit in some spots. But the climb was worth the view! I will definitely come back with friends or family!

Great cabin in a secluded mountaintop neighborhood where you don't have other cabins right on top of you. The layout of the space is cozy and nice, and we really enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace (bring your own wood). Hiking trails from the cabin property were convenient, and the game room in the basement was a fun diversion. The one negative was the hot tub jets were not operational, though not sure why, however that fact is disclosed in the listing. I would definitely stay here again.
