This place was amazing! So clean and SO creative. Lots of cute frog-themed touches. They definitely put heart in to developing this oasis. Definitely arrive in the afternoon if possible so you can enjoy the property. The waterfalls and creeks are gorgeous! Be sure to eat before you arrive or bring food, as nearby options are limited. We are SO happy that we stayed here. Xoxo

Walk ways along the creek are not easily access, unstabled. Staff was no where to find when we first arrive around 4:00pm, we called but got anwering machine and never got a response, we finally talked to the next door for help and got settled down eventually. I thought the booking was not accepted. We love nature, but please fix the steps.

Wonderful place! A little away from things so you really have to drive! But when you are there it is the best!

This is a cute cabin located among a few other cabins in a jungly area just a stone's throw from Waipio Valley. It is small (one room and a bathroom). But honestly, I had my best night's sleep there during a 10-night trip to the island. It was very quiet and peaceful with the frogs chirping away. The host was great working with me on the reservation and keeping me advised. But, upon realizing that there's not a lot to do in the immediate area, my wife and I decided to change our two-nights here to one since we wanted to squeeze some more out of our last couple days. This cabin is a bit rustic and small, so maybe is more suited for younger couples.

We had great directions and notes left by host which made finding the cabin easy with little cell reception. We got there a little early and enjoyed the grounds, hiking and checking out the river and waterfalls. The host found us on the property and let us know our cabin was ready for early check in which was great and very accommodating because we got a nap in before going to our event we had to attend.Very helpful and responsive. WiFi is great too.Grounds are peaceful and beautiful. My family of 4 fit perfectly. I would definitely recommend.

The frog pond cabin and the grounds were exceptional. The hosts really pay attention to detail and the cabin had everything we needed and more. Traveling with two small kids can be difficult and they had the cabin outfitted with so many things to make our kids’ visits pleasant ranging from toys to potty training seat to books. The grounds and landscaping were also an inspiration and very relaxing. Would highly recommend!

Good listing, beautiful grounds, nice so close to waipio lookout, adequate shampoos and towels, nice easy access laundry area. Quite warm inside cabin-fans provided. I loved hearing the frogs at night however can get pretty loud. We arrived at night, would be easier and recommend to arrive in daylight hours. Peaceful.

This is where i will go when i run away from home. It feels rustic with all its comforts and a waterfall. I sat for 3 days on the porch never tiring of the botanical garden right in front of me. The owners are a delight and care about every detail. We never heard anyone's voice the entire stay and could cocoon ourselves in beauty and peace. We read a lot, watched the stars, sipped coffee on our private deck in early morning light and napped on two comfy couches in the cabin in the afternoons. The weather was 75 degrees with trade wind breezes. So many perfect places to sit overlooking the river as i wandered through the gardens. The Frog Pond cabin is my new home away from home. Thank you Darin and Katerina, you are the best!
