Stayed Sep 30, 2025Wonderful and cozy cabin, with everything that you need to prepare your own meals! Relaxing with the hot tub and fire table. Kept my teenagers busy with foosball, dart and ping pong tournaments! Very family and pet friendly. Only down side was the primary bedroom mattress was way to soft (foam, conforming), but that could be personal preference. Still a great place and looking forward to our next trip.

Stayed Feb 14, 2025We really enjoyed the house and property. It was perfect for toddlers to play in the snow at the house and we would definitely come back again—size of the house and space was great for what we needed. We were less enthused about the cleaning services (towels were hanging on doors from previous guests, our dog was eating crackers from the floor from the folks who stayed before us). We also would have appreciated more than just one kitchen towel since we did some cooking. Last suggestion would have been to make salt and a shovel available—the deck had black ice that we needed to navigate carefully with kids. Overall, we would stay here again, might just plan to have some of those things with us.

Stayed Mar 20, 2023Out family of four had a wonderful stay. The cabin is well equipped and very clean. The family room area is great for socializing and the beds are very comfortable.

Stayed Feb 17, 2023We had an absolutely wonderful stay, the property was amazing. The only things I would suggest is better sheets on the beds and better mattresses in the bunk rooms. Besides that the cabin was amazing!

Stayed Sep 23, 2022My family of four stayed for a long weekend and this is the best rental we've ever stayed in. So clean and organized. Everything was labeled for ease and convenience. Private and relaxing, loved the hot tub and game room. Kitchen was well equipped and everything was in perfect working order. Can't wait to visit this cabin again!!

Stayed Jul 7, 2022The Freedom Lodge was great. Clean, spacious, great location, stocked nicely with anything we needed. The garage area was a great hangout with many games, ping pong, darts, basketball… Great getaway for our family. Only negative was that there were a few details (check in/out times, etc…) that were not consistent with VRBO and Destination Big Bear (property mgmt).

Stayed Sep 11, 2021My wife and I, as well as our two dogs, really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The cabin is super comfortable with great cabin decor and super comfortable couches/beds. The deck and fenced-in yard was great for our dogs. And the hot tub, fire pit, and games kept us entertained the entire trip. We will definitely be back!
