'Foxtail' Cabin Retreat: Steps to Beaver Lake!

Host was very helpful and responsive. The cabin was perfect for my wife and me to have time to rest, recharge, and plan the coming year.

Beautiful cabin with wonderful views of Beaver Lake. We had 3 deer that visited regularly. Beds were a bit firm for our preference. Everything needed was provided, including a space heater for the one, very cold night. We highly recommend and will stay here again when we return.

The cabin was cozy and comfortable with great vies. We enjoyed the sunset ever night. Perfect for a girl’s trip.

This property was fantastic! Loved the views and it was perfect for a couple. We plan on booking the same place again. The only suggestion would be to add a motion light near the stairs to fire pit and a couple of small tables on deck and at the firepit. Location was peaceful and within easy drives to venues and Eureka Springs. Thank you again for one of our new favorite vacation spots

Nice cozy cabin to spend a few days. It was very clean and efficient for us. We appreciated the use of the canoe and firepit area. We did, however, miss getting some local news on the TV.

The cabin was very nice, much smaller than it appears in pictures. The outside could have used some cleaning up and the walk to take the kayaks down was pretty rough. On the inside the cabin was clean and nice but had nothing in regards to kitchen needs. No foil or plastic wrap. The pans were old and everything stuck when trying to cook. It would have been nice to have a few essentials supplied for the kitchen. Or to have known ahead of time nothing would be there. Overall it was a good stay and had amazing sunset views.

Beautiful cabin with a lovely view of the lake! The cabin was really clean and looked just like pictures posted. The beds were extremely comfortable. The only issues we had was that the listing said there was room for a boat trailer, but that was not true for us. There was no where for us to turn around so we had to back down the narrow steep driveway. There is a Marina near by so we just bought a boat slip so we didn’t have to mess with the driveway everyday. Great Cabin and we would definitely stay again!!

We had an amazing time at this property! It had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The lake views were absolutely stunning—my favorite part by far! I loved starting each morning with a cup of coffee while soaking in that beautiful view. We will definitely be back again!

Such a beautiful cabin with amenities galore. They thought of everything you could need and provided that, even down to lighters for the firepit. The Britta filter pitcher had floaties and film in it, the filter was also bad, so we had to clean that out to use it and because of the bad filter it still tasted funny. maybe bring water bottles if you need to. Also, not having a TV in one bedroom but having one in the other was odd. Just put a TV in each room! All in all we loved our stay and would love to return again.

The property was clean, beautiful, and secluded. It has been updated, the beds were comfortable, the shower was fine. The kitchen was well stocked. I did not give it 5 stars because it rained and the front and back doors swelled. Couldn't get the front door open. Finally did, we could not lock it back for fear of never getting out again. Slept with the doors unlocked. The keyless entry kept trying to lock and unlock. Texted the property manager and they said to jiggle the handle. Really? Never came out for us.

House was perfect for what we were looking for. Had a couple issues, but the host was very responsive and friendly!

Loved the cabin! Rained the whole time we were there. Didn't get to enjoy much of the outdoors. Hoping to return again.

We stayed during a 8” snow, it was beautiful

Cabin was nice, in a good location. Very clean and kitchen was nicely stocked. Would have preferred a couch instead of a love seat and chairs in the living room, it would have made movie/tv watching more comfortable for two people. Shower head was also mounted low, my husband is 6ft and had to bend under it. The bedroom with the king bed had no tv, even though the picture says it does. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the cabin, so no deal breakers for us, it was fine for a quick getaway.

The shower was very low pressure and it would make a very loud high pitched noise during every shower. We had also planned on grilling on the provided grill but it was out of propane and dirty inside it with half an onion left by a previous person, no telling how long ago. Lastly this trip was a planning retreat for me and my wife and so we needed to be on the internet but the WiFi was not good at all and we struggled to work at the same time.Besides these things we loved it here. It was incredibly beautiful and relaxing. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful and peaceful cabin. Views are spectacular and every sunset was unique and beautiful. Perfect for a couple to get away from the busyness and just relax. Best skipping stones on the lake shore ever! Could have stayed another week.

We stayed at Foxtail the week after Labor Day and had a wonderful time. We kayaked every day and caught the most stunning sunsets. We would like to return. Our only change would be to update the bathroom shower. It was dirty, had little water pressure, and did not drain well.

We had a wonderful time on our family getaway. Wished we would have stayed longer enjoyed everything about it!!

Beautiful view-just as pictured. Cabin was very clean. Room darkening curtains in bedrooms. However, the microwave was tiny and very low-wattage and the dish selection was slim. The fridge did not have an ice maker. No toaster.

This property was perfect for our short getaway. Bring some food and you never have to leave. We thoroughly enjoyed being right on the lake and made great use of the included kayaks, paddle board and hammocks! We were able to rest and recharge...just what we were looking for!
