Thanks for everything
My family and friends stayed here for New Years Eve and we had a wonderful time! The cabin was still decorated for the holidays which made it even more beautiful than the pictures. We enjoyed using the grill, hot tub, and the master bath room has been renovated since the pictures and the large soaking tub was lovely! The kitchen was well stocked, minus basic seasonings (they did not have salt, pepper, or oil). We made big family dinners during our stay here. The dishwasher and washer and dryer were also nice since we stayed for a few days. My car did get stuck in the ditch on our first night here because it couldn’t make it up the big hill and I got it towed by a local company, so I recommend driving a 4WD vehicle to this property. Lastly, the property was pet friendly and my 2 dogs LOVED running around the property and I loved giving them that freedom on vacation! I would definitely recommend this property and my family would stay here again.
Everything I hoped for
We had a great time! Cabin was clean & well maintained. I would stay here again!
Clean and spacious cabin. Plenty of sleeping space and two bathrooms so great for a larger family. Large seating areas with plenty of space for hanging out as a group. Nice kitchen with plenty of cooking supplies. We had a great stay and would absolutely stay again!
My family and I had a wonderful time. We enjoyed sitting on the patio. Just looking at the view and night, we had our fires. Overall, the places beautiful.
Plenty of space and different areas for 12 people. Drive is about 30 minutes to State Park area and 15 to Nelsonville. Nothing close by. Phones only worked when on cabin Wifi, which was good.
We had a fun time and the cabin was very clean and spacious.
This was a clean and well supplied cabin for our family get together. The grounds has many flowering shrubs and vines that smelled wonderful. We used the hot tub and fire pit everyday. The driveway is steep and the location for picking up and dropping off the key was a bit out of the way, but not that big of a deal.
Cabin was very nice. We liked that it was kind of in between a lot of attractions that we wanted to visit. Beautiful location on hillside. Our only problem was with the hot tub. The cover had been ruined somehow and debris was in the tub. We felt we should have been told beforehand, as it would have been a deciding factor in us renting the cabin. Still, very beautiful and clean cabin with lots of space.
It was nice and quiet and away from everything. Minor issues but we were taken care of. Plenty of room to accommodate a larger crew and is spacious.
Place was large with more than enough room to stay. However, we weren't notified until we checked in that the large tub wasn't working due to renovations and that the sliding door to get to the deck and hot tub easier was not working.(blanket shoved into frame) Every light fixture had burnt out bulbs. The door to enter and exit didn't even have a bulb for lighting and it was a big step into mud. No one informed us at check in that the ancient dishwasher had tape on it saying Broken do not use. This was a challenge with 6 kids to hand wash dishes. The hot tub needs replaced. As another reviewer mentioned (awhile ago) only one jet worked. It barely worked. The tub frame was cracked and the bottom is rotting off. We called on Saturday after checking in on Friday to state that the hot tub was green and smelly and not working right. Was told maintenance crew would contact us. No one did, we weren't checking out until Monday. The cooking items are VERY limited. Some newer cheap pans to cook in but NO serving bowls only cereal bowls. There is a nice fire pit up a steep muddy hill(no way to get up easily) but there was no way to light a fire... No lighter. I did call to inquire and they offered to drive one out but that would have taken at least 30 mins on a Sunday.I'm not going to make someone do that. They were working on a remodel of a bathroom that will be gorgeous when done. That whole side of the house smelled horribly of the fumes from the varnish. Outside lots of trash around.
Had a wonderful experience! Cabin was clean, and plenty of room for all.
Very nice property nice and secluded
