The road in is very rough. Don’t attempt in a car. 4x4 recommended. The cabin itself is adequate, but the beds are small and not comfortable. The hot tub is stained and uninviting.

We loved the seclusion of this property. It was a chore to get to the cabin though. We traded my wife's 2WD Nissan Rogue in for a new Subaru Crosstrek AWD the day before our trip and it was the right move. It is summer and it rains at night making very peaceful to just sit on the porch and have a beer and listen to the rain. Everything was fantastic. The cabin was perfect for us for our anniversary trip.

The check in process was not convenient. The instructions for check in and the key pad were not the same as what was actually at the cabin. The instructions did not give us what we needed. The keypad did not work but there was a key that we found ourselves. The instructions spoke nothing about an actual key. Once we got someone on the phone from Vacasa we were able to access the key from the lock box. Just overall not a fun check in experience and no actual owner to speak to. I didn’t like going thru another party to get information. I didn’t feel safe or secure staying there. We almost left and got a hotel elsewhere. The lights in the bathroom didn’t work, the instructions for the heat didn’t match up to what was actually there.

The cabin itself was as described however the pictures were misleading-your view is nothing but woods. Very secluded. Had to buy batteries for Directv remote control to use.

The cabin was a decent getaway, but there were a few problems that took away from the experience. The most pressing one being the fact that there was no blender to use or complimentary coffee/condiments/etc. The left bed was comfortable but the right bed was one of the least comfortable beds we have slept on. Additionally, there were no trails or anything like a nature walk within reasonable walking distance of the cabin. Overall it wasn't the best stay but it was pretty decent. A 4x4 is not necessary but rather a decent 4x2 truck or car will suffice in dry/lightly wet conditions.

It was so peaceful and relaxing! Not too far from town, but far enough to be 'away from it all.' the cabin was clean and cozy, and the woods are pristine. We will definitely be back!

We couldn't even stay here. It says 4WD recommended, well I have a F350 4WD and we had to be towed out the very first day - twice. My truck didn't fit in the driveway, well, the front half of my vehicle did, but not the bed of the truck, it blocked the road. Once down the hill, we couldn't get back out of the driveway - at all. We had to be very carefully wenched he'd back out the driveway and up the hill. The location is absolutely ridiculous. The description is very inaccurate and the photos are deceiving on what will fit in the driveway. We ended up having to find a hotel in the middle of the night due to not being able to get in and out of the cabin. We didn't even stay one night here. I messaged and messaged the property managers about having to be towed and all they told me over and over again was that 4WD was recommended. What a joke they are. Zero help from the property owner/manager. Would not ever recommend this place to anyone. Ever. No matter what type of vehicle you have.

The cabin was great the road wasn't. Maybe it will be paved one day.

The drive off the main road was HORRIBLE!!!! I drive a low profile car so getting in and out was a challenge. All I could smell was burnt rubber from trying to get out of the driveway. The road was only the size of one lane. Passing other vehicles and going around blind curves was scary. I rather drive in Atlanta rush hour than to drive to this cabin again. We rented for 3 nights but only stayed one. We rented a place in Helen that was much nicer and cheaper! The mattresses were old and were sagging to the middle of the bed. Other than these two complaints, the cabin was nice.
