Stayed Jun 24, 2026We had a wonderful family experience at the Forest Haven cabin. It was so cozy and set up to be geared for families. We were able to visit so many local attractions including Yellowstone, Grand Tetons and Bozeman. Thank you!

Stayed Jun 19, 2026After reserving for a great cost, I was nervous it would be to small especially in shared gathering areas. It wasn’t too small. It was great.

Stayed May 20, 2026This was our 1st trip to the Yellowstone and the surrounding area and we were pleasantly surprised with this cabin and all of the thoughtful amenities. We felt welcomed and at home here. Thank you for ample space, linens, blankets and extra towel racks (so often lacking in rentals). Regina addressed any concerns efficiently and we appreciated her recommendation to try huckleberry ice cream, Yum! The biggest surprise was having a young moose walk through the side yard while we were standing by the driveway! WOW! Thank you for making our families first trip to the Yellowstone area memorable, comfortable, and restful. The Phillips Family (Pittsburgh, PA)

Stayed Jul 27, 2025The property was wonderful. It had plenty of space for our family of 5. My teenagers liked that they all had their own space and that there was internet for when we were done with our daily excursions. The kitchen worked great for cooking our meals at the cabin. The front porch was great. I enjoyed sitting outside and reading in the peaceful setting. The only downside was major road construction, which made it difficult to get to the cabin. This is nothing the host can control and will probably not be an issue in the future.

Stayed Jul 24, 2025Comfortable and clean. We were in Island Park for a festival. The host made the whole check-in and check-out process easy, allowing us to enjoy our visit without worry. The cabin is nicely decorated and all the essentials were provided. The only thing, if there is one, is that we had to get propane to use the grill. The description said a grill was available, which is awesome, but didn't say if the grill was charcole or gas. Propane tanks were avaliable, just empty. Otherwise, no complaints. We would stay here again.

Stayed Jul 20, 2025Living areas were clean & comfortable. Nice size bathrooms. Kitchen well furnished. Appreciated the games. All kinds of “odds & ends” available & much appreciated. FYI - the queen bed in upstairs bedroom could really use a new mattress. The furniture on front porch / deck was very dirty - not able to use. Grill was terribly dirty - unusable without a good cleaning. Fire pit was almost inaccessible due to extremely long weeds. Yard was entirely composed of knee high plus weeds - would have really appreciated having it mowed. Also, no fault of owners but entire access road (Yale-Kilgore) is under construction. Every trip in & out took an extra 20-30 minutes. Traffic at absolute standstill for 15-30 minutes each time. Beautiful scenery (got a glimpse of mama moose) and quiet neighborhood.

Stayed Jul 9, 2025The cabin itself was nice, the area not so much. The photos of the area are not quite accurate. If you stay in July, make sure to bring a box fan. The loft is very warm, even with windows open. Only one ceiling fan to cool the area. The cleanup list is also quite extensive. I have rented several places through VRBO and never required to strip beds and wash and dry all towels. I thought that is what the cleaning fee was for.

Stayed Jun 28, 2025We LOVED this property. It was a wonderful reset between camping adventures with a great kitchen and access to laundry. The house was well stocked and hosted a fantastic set of games for the family. Our most loved feature was the guest book which hosts a hide and seek treasure hunt that has been going on between guests for years.Great stay!!!

Stayed Jun 1, 2025We stayed for 2 weeks at the beginning of June. The cabin was very clean. It had everything we needed. It was comfortable. They were working on the road coming into the cabin, so we had delays coming and going. Obviously, that isn't the owner's fault, just something to think about. We did get to see the mama moose and her twins while we were there.

Stayed May 27, 2025The cabin was nice and clean when we checked in. Not a bad drive, about 30 mins, to West Yellowstone. My kids loved the loft area! Checking in and out was super easy. The one downside that the surrounding area had was construction right at the road leading to the cabin. This construction definitely added to delays in traveling. Despite the construction, which is out of host control, the family loved our stay and would recommend this place to anyone looking to visit Yellowstone or Grand Tetons.
