Stayed May 6, 2023Highly recommend. Home was clean and in a quiet area. Close to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg & Great Smoky Mountain National Park. Locally owned restaurants nearby for breakfast or a real Philly Cheesesteak! Nice layout of home for 2 couples to stay and each have their own space. 2 full bathrooms for each bedroom on separate levels. The outside decks were tree top view & relaxing in morning & evening. No mountain view, but not necessary as we didn’t spend much time at the cabin. The mountains can be seen at bottom of driveway. Minutes from park entrance. Had everything you need to make your stay relaxing & enjoyable. Great price & amenities.

Stayed Jun 14, 2026Fly Away Bird's Nest was the perfect cabin for our family vacation to the Smokey Mountains. The cabin was clean, the amenities were great and the proximity to town was excellent. Getting in the hot tub at night after a long day of activities was just what we needed and the game room upstairs kept the kids entertained so the adults could just relax. We loved our stay here and didn't want to leave. We definitely plan to return in the future!!!

Stayed Jun 11, 2026Great cabin! The cabin was clean and well kept. The bedroom downstairs is open to the bunk room, with a wall dividing the rooms. The hot tub was clean and very nice. The only negative I can think of is the road leading to the cabin. As stated in previous reviews, it is 1 lane and needs repaired/paved. There were fresh paint marks on the road, so hopefully that is in the works. Other than that we had a great time! We didn't see any bears, but there were fresh tracks just to the right of the cabin!

Stayed May 16, 2026The cabin was really nice and just as described. The place was fun and everything was relatively clean. The toilets and showers not so much. The toilets smelled like old urine and there was some mold on the shower knobs and around the shower door. The beds and other furniture were very comfortable and the fire pit was really enjoyable. Overall excellent stay!

Stayed Apr 21, 2026We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was so clean, and loved having the linen and towels provided. We liked having the starter welcome kit which included paper towels, dish, hand soap, and toilet paper. The downstairs suite was very nice and spacious. The upstairs bed has its issues as other reviews have previously stated. The bed frame is unstable and the legs appear bent. The unstableness of the bed makes it very loud when you sit or even roll over in bed. I didn't call maintenance because the only thing to fix this issue would be to replace the frame. We did not use the hot tub on this trip, but it appeared clean as well. Overall, this is a very nice cabin and I would recommend it as long as small kids were sleeping on the upstairs bed. It is close enough to pigeon forge, but gives a remote feel being tucked away in the in the beautiful wooded smokey mountains!

Stayed Apr 10, 2026Cabin served us well during our stay. Layout is perfectly suited for multi-generational families. First floor bedroom is well appointed with en suite bathroom. Lower level is spacious for parents with a King bed and adjoining room bunks for the kids. Bath with shower and whirlpool tub is very convenient. Both levels have private balconies for seating. Although we did not use, hot tub was clean, hot and ready. Cabin location is well-placed for trips to Sevierville, Pigeon Forge or Townsend. Pawpaws Kitchen is very close for the best catfish meal around. Enjoyed our stay and think you will too.

Stayed Mar 20, 2026Overall the cabin was just okay. The upstairs bedroom bed was not the most comfortable. And it was very squeaky and loud. Bed downstairs and bunks were much more comfortable. Absolutely no storage in the kitchen for food. We cook a lot and had to use the countertop in an already tight kitchen to place all food that wasn’t refrigerated. Also, the pots and pans provided were not large enough to make food for the six of us. Red door did bring more for us mid week. The sofas and outdoor furniture were definitely old and have seen better days. The outdoor patio seats were pealing and paint flakes were coming off and sticking to us. Bathrooms could use a major deep clean. Basement bathroom smelled musty. Hut tub worked well but could also use a good deep cleaning. We really enjoyed the game room! We’ve stayed in this area many times over the years and spent a lot less and gotten more bang for our buck, including more square footage. Unfortunately, we wouldn’t book this cabin in the future. For the cost, we expected more. Also, with four adults and two young children (9 & 7) the space felt very cramped.

Stayed Nov 9, 2025Perfect Getaway! The cabin was clean, fully stocked, comfortable bed, easy assess to town, beautiful views & our favorite part was the hot tub and the game loft! The hot tub was perfect way to relax at night, temperature was perfect for the cold/snowy nights we had during our stay. Check in was easy & the property owners were wonderful, fast reply when I had questions with the storm warning and road closures upon our arrival. Definitely recommend!!

Stayed Oct 20, 2025The cabin is gorgeous, and the parking was great. The rooms were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The road to get to the cabin is a bit sketchy. It only has room for one car and is very steep. I would still recommend as a great place to stay.

Stayed Oct 5, 2025The property manager was very prompt with her replies to any questions that I had. The property was just as it was online very clean and perfect for us. The game room was very fun with the pool table, video game console with old school games, and the shuffleboard was the selling point as we loved a place we had before that had a shuffleboard. I thoroughly enjoyed beating him!! We also choose the place being pet friendly. The property is on a hill and I got my workout times in walking my dog up and down the hill which was a plus. We would definitely come back.

Stayed Aug 29, 2025We had an issue with the bed on the main floor, it was broken in the middle, we notified host and it was taken care of right away. We enjoyed the game room upstairs and the multiple balconies. We did not use the hot tub, it was not very clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Sep 8, 2025We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin. It was an added bonus to have a Momma bear with two cubs greet us just 5 minutes after our arrival and to have another lone bear visit three days later. These bear were not threatening but we knew enough to give mom a bear a lot of room with her cubs. The cabin itself is a gem. The lower level is the master bedroom and it’s huge! The adjustable King size bed was very comfortable. The game room in the loft was roomy and fun. Usually games in most rentals are in poor shape but the pool table, shuffleboard table and the classic video games all were well kept with extra chalk for the pool sticks and extra powder for the shuffle board. The galley kitchen had ample pots and pans, cups, plates, utensils, etc. do not bring coffee mugs they have well over a dozen! The kitchen does not have any spices, cooking oil etc and the refrigerator is spotless and empty so be sure to bring everything. Ketchup, mustard, butter, whatever. The living area is cozy and comfortable. There are more than enough TVs. The two decks are roomy and great to overlook the steep valley below. Don’t expect a mountain view or much sun on the rear decks as the cabin is heavily ensconced in tall oaks. Also, understand that it is a long way down from the decks to the ground. Even on the lower deck you’re quite high. The grounds are limited. No back or side yard space. There is a nice seating area in front of the cabin with a firepit and a pole mounted grill

Stayed Aug 9, 2025We had such a great time in this cabin! It was very clean and we had everything we needed to get started with our vacation. They even had little bottles of soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and trash bags for extra supplies, which I have never had happen at a cabin stay in Gatlinburg before. Nice and very kind touch! I would 100% stay here again and we were super bummed to have to leave at the end of our stay.

Stayed May 21, 2025Property was well maintained and in a good location, central to where we wanted to go. We didn’t use the hot tub, game room or fire pit because we were there only two days. Overall, place was very nice. Our only complaint is that the mattress in the upstairs bedroom is not comfortable at all and there was a slight sewer smell when we arrived but eventually went away. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed Oct 6, 2024The cabin layout was perfect for our family. The kids nook in the downstairs bedroom made nights so easy with two littles. The location was close enough to both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, making traveling to activities a breeze. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Oct 3, 2024This home was beautiful! Our children (2, 3, and 5) enjoyed every second of being here and loved the bunk bed. My husband and I enjoyed that the rooms were connected, and the girls were able to walk into our room overnight when they felt scared. The location was quiet and clean, and the owners were very responsive. It is super close to Pigeon Forge! We are already planning to take our 9-hour ride back to this cosy cabin!! Thank you!
