The property was amazing, great time and care has been put into this home. As advertised.

Host was very prompt in communication both before and during stay. Cabin was extremely well stocked with amenities and had everything we needed to enjoy the weekend.

Awesome host answered all questions quickly great help. Some the best amenities of any stay we have had great location, beautiful view from porches of wildlife and nature comfortable beds. No complaints definitely recommend.

This place is AMAZING! It is comfy and cozy, the kitchen is well equipped, the beds and couches are super comfortable and the view is incredible. The hosts are super responsive and very kind. I would give them 10 stars if I could!

Super spacious and inviting cabin - so quiet and peaceful and beautifully, warmly decorated for Christmas! Great useable and thoughtfully appointed outdoor space (plenty of comfortable seating on both levels for both relaxing and eating, wonderful hot tub and grill). The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms very comfortable. We were just two, but would be ideal for families as there is plenty of living space on both levels. Also had no trouble with the road up the mountain or the driveway (I have a rear-wheel drive coupe), though there was no ice or snow to contend with. A perfect respite from “the norm” - many thanks to Doug and Jeanne!

We had an amazing time at Fishing Bear cabin. Me, my husband, two older teens an my dog were so comfortable here. It really did seem like a second home! The cabin has all of the essentials and more! They even provided K-cups for the Keurig machine. It was decorated for Christmas and was very clean. We enjoyed all the cabin had to offer, hot tub, pingpong and board games! Oh and don't forget the gas fireplace that starts up at the touch of a button. We would love to come back soon!

This is our second visit to Fishing Bear Cabin, we will be back again! Doug and Jeanne are amazing hosts. The cabin is adorably decorated, clean and has everything you would need. Standing on the deck chances are you’ll see a few deer running through the forest. My dog was very excited. It is also perfectly situated between Ellijay, Blue Ridge and Copperhill TN (all extremely dog friendly). There is much to do in each town and the hiking in the area is fantastic. The towns do roll up between 8pm and 9pm but after a day of adventuring you can come back to the cabin and relax in the hot tub. Blue Ridge has grown so much since our first visit 6 years ago (stayed at another cabin back then). We love to visit breweries and taste great beers, if that is also your thing you won’t be disappointed. Blue Ridge, Ellijay and Copperhill TN have plenty to choose from. A visit to Mercier Orchards is also must the pastries and pies are to die for. I can’t express enough how wonderful Doug and Jeanne are as hosts and this area is wonderful any time of year.

Great value and nice cabin! We enjoyed our stay, particularly liked the downstairs area with the big-screen TV and comfortable sofas. The hosts were wonderful as far as keeping in touch and answering questions.

The cabin was well appointed with everything you could possibly need and more. It was so cozy and relaxing and I enjoyed all the decor. The hosts were a call away for anything we needed promptly. We saw about 15 deer on and around the property as we took our pup on daily walks. It was a beautiful area and I hope everyone considers staying at Fishing Bear cabin. Thank you for such a relaxing, carefree vacation experience. I would definitely stay again!!

Delightful accommodations!

Very nice, very clean, the cabin had everything we needed plus some. The hot tub was very nice and the setting of the cabin was amazing!! Even though there are houses around, it felt like we had the mountain to ourselves! Amazing stay, highly recommended!!

This was our second time at the cabin. Amazing hosts with an amazing cabin. If we come back (when we come back) to Blue Ridge, this will be our first pick for our stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Peace and quiet and comfort. It was just what the Dr ordered. We arrived on a Thursday and didn't leave (except for walks around the neighborhood) until Sunday morning.

We loved this cabin! The property is very well maintained and provided a really enjoyable getaway for our family.

No problems with the house. The house was lovely, a peaceful environment. I enjoyed the backyard, it was nice enjoying my coffee on the little covered porch. My issue was the road coming and going from the property. It was nerve wrecking for me with the near head on collisions, because you can not see around curves and vehicles popping around the corners.

We had a great stay, the cabin is so beautiful! It literally has everything you need.

This has become my go-to in north Georgia. The neighborhood is peaceful, the layout is sensible, it has all the amenities I want, and it's central to all kinds of outdoor fun. Always great communication with the owners.

The cabin had everything you could possibly need. Blankets if you’re cold plenty of towels even beach towels for the hot tub and dvd of every genre.

We went to visit for my boyfriend’s birthday and had the best time. The cabin is just picturesque. So many little details to make it as cozy and perfect as possible. Easy location to get to, and so close to downtown Blur Ridge. We will definitely be staying at this cabin again in the future!!

Girls getaway for my 70th birthday. Beautiful cabin, well maintained by owners. Beautiful views with plenty of peace and quiet . Very nice owners responded quickly. Great times, loved the hot tub!!

It was simply amazing, they have anything and everything you may need. Ive stayed ay a few different cabins in this area and i will say that this one was my favorite.

I love this place, it’s my go to when I go to blue ridge.

1st, the property was immaculate, had everything anyone could think of for a comfortable stay, and the location is simply OUTSTANDING. It is within a 30 drive to any and everything the area has to offer. Doug and Jeanne, the owners decorated the Cabin for Christmas! It was simply a joy to deal with them from beginning to end. I am certain we will back!

This property is perfect for the family who just want to rest and relax. Everything was awesome. The downstairs if perfect for the kiddos (just be careful as socks and stairs are an interesting combination) and the main floor is great for the adults. Everything is provided and the owners are awesome and attentive before and during your stay. Definitely a must to return. One note, the road getting to the cabin is paved but narrow so watch for on coming traffic.

Jeanne was so attentive and answered questions promptly. This is a beautiful home in the mountains. There was everything there that made it feel like home. Thank you for sharing your place with us. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved this cabin!! It felt like a home away from home. I loved how they had literally anything you can think of needing. We mostly stayed downstairs since that's where the room with the king bed was. You can tell they paid attention the small details when it came to making sure you have everything you need when you stay there. From all the movies to choose from, a variety of books throughout the cabin, the soft comfortable blankets that are everywhere so if you want to grab one and relax on the porch with a cup of coffee on a cool morning you can. Any game you can think of so if you have the family there there's stuff literally for everyone. This was overall a great stay and probably the best cabin to date and we will be coming back again. Also I had a few questions while I was there and the host was very prompt at responding back to me and helping me out. 10 out 10!

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! The hot tub was perfect for relaxing, and the charming decor made the space feel cozy and inviting. We truly enjoyed every moment of our visit!

Wonderful cabin in a delightful area. Perfect place with privacy for a couple or enough space for a family. Ample deck space for outdoor experience with tons of creature comforts in the home. Excellent cabin.

Very quiet. Fairly secluded for having neighbors. Love the layout! Very home feeling. Will definitely be staying again in the future and recommend to friends and family.
