Stayed Sep 17, 2025Neighborhood was quiet. Everything needed in the cabin was supplied. Cable was out all weekend at no fault of the owner. This was communicated to the owner with quick response. Not going to be fixed until Tuesday. We were out and about most of the weekend so it wasn’t a big deal to us. The cabin floors were not the cleanest, otherwise good place to stay.

Stayed Aug 30, 2024Cute single bedroom cabin with full kitchen and nicely furnished. Close to river, but not readily accessible. Laundry facilities weren’t operable during our stay and it would have been beneficial to know that prior to our stay. Enjoy the massive deck that is shared between 4 cabins. Also has picnic tables and fire pits for each cabin. Recommend the outstanding breakfast options at the Farmer’s Daughter in town.

Stayed Aug 17, 2024My family of 5 (3) kids under 13 have stayed in every cabin as well as the main house. Our most recent trip 8/17/24 was absolutely exceptional like always. Flawless booking, the owners went well above and beyond to accommodate our booking request. I cant say enough good things about this place and the owners. Cabins are always spotless. Very close to the James river.. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone that likes fishing or just a quiet place to unwind. We will be back soon!
