Fellhaven - a holiday lodge that sleeps 6 guests in 3 bedrooms

Clean spacious and well equipped but was missing a clothes horse! Slipped on decking very dangerous!

Check in was quite easy. The email provided all of the details required. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. There were also some games and toys for our granddaughter to use. Nice quiet location in the Lake District.

We arrived at Fellhaven and managed to unpack the car before the rain started and our Tesco delivery came - perfect timing! The lodge was bright airy and clean. The Tesco driver slipped on the steps (there is a sign saying slippy when wet!) There was ample room for our groceries, with a fridge and a freezer. Cooking/kitchen facilities were great! We could’ve done with a couple of Pyrex bowls, wooden spoons and a fruit bowl! The bedrooms were clean and comfortable but we really could do with having mirrors in all bedrooms rather than just the main bedroom - which proved difficult when having to dry and style hair! The decking needs a good clean and dome work/replacement of boards there’s a couple of boards rotten and with holes and there’s an area at the front that’s very rotten, weak and almost gives way. The rattan sofa also needs attention. We had. As problem with the heating…. We had none for 24 hours or so, but Chris from Lakes Cottages was absolutely brilliant, he brought us a fan heater for the short term and brought an someone to override the thermostat to ensure we were warm. Apart from the above it’s a beautiful lodge, the staff are so very friendly, the whole site is very dog friendly. We would definitely come back to this site, we would 100% book with lakes cottages and lodges in the future, and we would go to the same lodge again.

This was our 3rd stay at this lodge, it’s a lovely lodge with everything you need for your stay. The lodge is on a nice quiet site in a picturesque valley, lovely place if you want a relaxing peaceful break or great place for walking.

Excellent lodge in a stunning location. Spotlessly clean, a real home from home. If I was to be really picky I would say the tv in our bedroom didn't have a remote control( or we couldn't find it), 2 of the bedrooms didn't have mirrors and a sieve would have been handy. This is not a criticism but maybe worth looking at and it didn't spoil anything, no big deal . We would definitely book this lodge again! We all had a fantastic week.

Fellhaven is a lovely lodge. It has everything you need for your stay. Beds are comfortable and plenty room in living area. Grandson loved the games console not that got much playing time as we were blessed with little rain and sunny days. I would point out the fencing on patio in few places appears that the wood is rotted through but didn't effect enjoyment of patio. The only other negative was sadly the over whelming smell of wet dog in main bedroom no matter how much we aired the room and ensuite it didn't lessen, but also didn't ruin our stay. On saying that we would return to the lodge in the future.

The lodge is lovely, comfortable and was spotlessly clean for our arrival. Located in a quiet part of the park with the bonus of the pub not being far away. The bedrooms were a delight and the lodge has every amenity available that you would require on holiday. My only observation would be the outside area could do with a little TLC but as it rained most of the week we were there it didn't affect us. Excellent customer service from Lakes Cottages and Lodges.

The lodge is nice and comfortable on a quiet area on the site. The view from the decking is lovely and the bedrooms very comfortable, but it is in need of some TLC. There are various little things, that could be sorted and it would make a big difference. The blinds need looking at and the en-suite radiator needs a clean. The outdoor area also needs a spruce up and a couple of the outdoor chairs need replacing. This said we would stay again.
