Absolute best place my wife and I had ever stayed. Made for a fantastic get away for our first anniversary. Quiet, secluded, and so very comfortable. Will definitely be returning!

This was probably one of the cleanest cabins I have ever rented, and i've rented more than a few! Matt, the owner was very responsive and courteous.The surrounding area is beautiful. I enjoyed morning walks down to a beautiful creek a short distance away.In the evenings, we enjoyed the hot tub, plus fires around the fire circle.There was even wood provided! Can't wait for my next trip back here.

It was exactly what we hoped it would be... perfect for a quick anniversary getaway. The cabin was charming, well equipped, clean and well maintained. The property was peaceful and private. My only regret is that I didn't make arrangements to be off work longer, or I would have taken advantage of the host's offer to add more nights to our stay.

Easy and fast communication! Absolutely loved the cabin. It was very clean and had everything we needed plus more. We went hiking, fishing and sight seeing and this cabin was close to everything! We will be staying again.

The cabin was very cozy, we did not use the hot tub. The bathroom sink drain stopper was stuck in the down position other than that it was great.

Definitely a great cabin for a weekend getaway. It was not far from the town and easy access for my Toyota prius to get to also. The interior was great looking and had a awesome cozy feel about it. I will recommend this location to others for sure. Thanks again

Faye’s Retreat was an excellent place for a quite relaxing getaway! The host, Matt was awesome. He kept us informed up to the day of our stay and responded quickly to every question. We loved the place so much, my husband said he wished we could just live there. The place was cozy, sitting on the front porch or the back porch was so peaceful, the hot tub was relaxing and the view of the surrounding woods was beautiful. Everything about Faye’s Retreat was amazing and we highly recommend to everyone that needs a quiet, peaceful and relaxing retreat.

The cabin was beautiful & well maintained. Quiet farm area between two State Parks but close to town. Hot tub & grill or cook in a full kitchen. Relax & enjoy the view. Host veey easy to communicate with, checkin & out super easy. Rustic and luxurious at the same time

Everything was as it was on the site. We have stayed at Fayes retreat twice now and we love it. It is quite and very relaxing, it is close to attractions and resterants. Matt is a wonderful host

It was clean and very peaceful. Just wish it had a swing lol other than that it was just about perfect.

The peace and tranquility along with the seclusion was absolutely wonderful!! I will definitely recommend and show pictures to my co- workers!! It was first class!!

The stay was okay. The peacefulness was great, however the waterfall that was in the ad was not as close as we thought. The bathroom water pressure in the face bowl is very low. The water doesn’t stay hot longer enough in shower. The tv in living room seems to have a broken speaker because it’s hard to hear the shows when watching. The tv in the bathroom asks for a code to download an app which is not available to the guests.

Loved the cabin! Clean and cute with a nice hit tub, shower, comfy beds. The owner had wood ready for the fire pit and the property was week kept and close to Desoto and Little River Canyon.

It was clean, quiet and perfect for a couple.

A mom and 4 kids. A little get away with hot tub, water fall, yummy ice cream, camp fire, board games, and closeness. This was a safe place to go to, no worry of bears, for those of us that have fears. We all had a good time. 2- 16 year old girls, 12 year old boy, 8 year old girl and 44 year old mom. mom.

We have been needing a weekend getaway just the two of us. It had been over a year since we did something like this! I found this place and had a couple of others saved but this one just seemed like something that would be perfect for us and it was! Matt was very informative and the check in process was easy when we arrived. The cabin is amazing and just old rustic vibes. The hot tub and privacy was amazing as well. We didn’t do much venturing. We laided around and relax and this was a perfect place to do that! We will definitely be back and definitely stay in this cabin or one of the others that Matt offers!

We had a great time. Our cabin was easy ton locate, clean, and the perfect size for us. We loved the hot tub, which was the cleanest we’ve ever had and we go to gatlinburg quite a lot! Lots of privacy and lots of time to relaxing! We will definitely stay again!

We couldnt be happier with our stay. The property was exactly as advertised and smelled so clean when we got there. The owners had a beautiful Christmas tree set up for the holiday and the hot tub was amazing. We would stay here over and over again!

We also loved the thoughtful touch of having the Christmas tree up and beautifully decorated—it made the space feel extra festive and welcoming.The provided bathroom toiletries were a pleasant surprise—they smelled amazing and left my hair feeling so soft!Overall, this cabin offered the perfect combination of comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in Fort Payne.

We went for the weekend to celebrate our 41st wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, nature and the hot tub. It would be nice to include some firewood and hubby made a mess with some pringles and we couldn’t find a broom. Apologies to the cleaners!

This cabin was amazing. Very clean, well built, great location. The owners were also wonderful. 10/10 can’t wait to come back. The kitchen and grill had every thing we needed. It has a great hot tub and location is very quiet.

Perfect size, clean, nestled in the woods for good privacy, close to all the good hiking in the area, loved the fire pit. Responsive hosts! Definitely recommend
