Welcome to Camelot Lodge!
Camelot Lodge is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a mountain community. While there are other homes around, the properties are spread out, giving you room and plenty of level yard space, perfect for outdoor activities. The area is family-friendly and is a great place for both children and "children at heart" to enjoy. There is a small fire pit with chairs and a shed full of toys and outdoor games.
Beautiful piece of property with a great view. Cabin was very comfortable and had sleds in the shed for sliding down the hills on site. Kids had a blast.
We had a group of family members stay for the weekend to attend the App State winter graduation. The house was beautiful and made a perfect setting.
Very close to the White Crow wedding venue where my daughter got married. Beautiful property for pictures and nice layout of the house for separation and comfort.
The house worked out perfectly for a family gathering for a local wedding.
The washing machine was constantly unbalanced, so it was unusable. The dryer didn't work. We had to go to the laundromat. The microwave didn't work, and some of the stove burners didn't work. Some of the blinds didn't close. The edges of the rug in the dining area were curled, so people tripped over it and almost fell. The upstairs sink drain was clogged. Poor lighting. Several ceiling fans would not run with the light off. We will not recommend this property to anyone else.
The home was perfect for our family. Everything about the place was perfect already looking forward to our next Camelot adventure.
Loved the location the size of the front yard. Felt very comfortable being there. Only downside was the back double door doesn’t lock so if there’s a strong wind the doors would open up! But easy fix for the property managers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
Very nice cabin, great location and neighborhood. Overall we had a great experience but the cabin is very dirty, dusty. We stayed at many others cabin in the past but this one is so dirty with spider webs on the ceiling, the oven is so gross that we weren’t able to use it , same with the washing machine.
We rented the house for a long weekend with the family to celebrate my daughter’s graduation from Appalachian State University. The house was great for us to all get together and the space was fantastic for 11 of us. It was so spacious and clean. I would definitely look to stay here again.
This is a lovely house, well made, good layout, nice furniture, beautiful view and centrally located between Banner Elk and Valle Crucis. But, there were a few things that need to be addressed. As others have mentioned, we found there is still an occasional stench in the downstairs king bedroom (which only has a queen bed). We had problems with the hot water (none or comes and goes) in the sinks of three of the four bathroom. The hot water in the showers was fine. The kitchen has some issues. Only two very small sauce pans. No regular glasses for juice or milk. Only 6 mugs/cups for coffee/hot chocolate. Lots of table knives and forks, but only a handful of tablespoons and only 2 teaspoons. These are mostly small inconveniences. We really enjoyed out stay and would come again. 5 Stars overall.
