Family Roscommon Home - 3 Mi to Higgins Lake

We had a blast! The only things is that we ran out of toilet paper, but we made do!

The property was nice and clean when we arrived. There were a few issues we encountered but our contact was quick to reply when we reached out. We would be happy to stay there again!

The property was fantastic, plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. It was clean and well stocked with the essentials. There was plenty of parking for vehicles and the trailer we brought up with SXS's. I would absolutely recommend this property.

I’m not sure where to begin, everything about this cabin was amazing. It’s super clean inside and smells amazing as soon as you walk in. The beach is right down the road. This cabin comes with everything you need. The host even supplied us with everything to make smores. My wife and I will be booking this cabin next year.

Our whole family agreed this trip was a 10/10!. Communication was amazing with the host(s), from a welcome email & text before our arrival to a quick response during our visit. That leads me to the cabin itself, I /we thoroughly enjoyed the welcome binder, it was fun to read that 2 brother's purchased together based on their vacations/memories, as well as their tips to enjoy the area. The cleanliness, & safety were top notch, and the decor was simple yet welcoming, not a ton of knick nack clutter which I appreciated. The cabin is well stocked with good quality linens, and kitchen cooking items. On site laundry was a huge bonus ( we all hate wet towels/swimwear!) The neighbors that walked by were friendly and the area is quiet, 5mins to N. Beach and 10mins to S. Beach both were beautiful, clean family friendly. We enjoyed using the kayaks (included in the rental), and wrapping up the evening playing Cornhole (included) followed by a bonfire and s'mores (also included) as a single mom trying to make family memories without breaking the bank and having someplace with something for everyone to enjoy this place was spot on! The only suggestions I have is a guest book for people to sign and leave Notes/tips just because it's easier to flip through while there vs. reading online comments and perhaps some marshmallow roasting sticks.

We come to Higgins Lake every year for a family reunion. The cabin was clean, modern, tasteful and met all our needs. Joe was an excellent host, and responded quickly to any questions and needs we had. It’s also a lovely sight in a beautiful setting. Highly recommended.

We had a great time staying at the house at Higgins Lake last week.

It was an amazing stay in this property, we enjoyed a lot and this too good for two families or 6 to 8 adults'. Everything provided like TV with internet, beds and kitchen items etc. Only dishwasher is not available but that is not an issue. It is so budget friendly also, I will strongly suggest this house if you planning to stay near to Higgins lake. Especially we like the prompt response and honest of the property owner, we forgot gold chain in this house and owner responded so nicely about the chain. Overall it is too good and we can enjoy the place

There is simply not enough to say about how beautiful the cabin and area are. The hosts were amazing to work with and answered any questions we had within 12 hours. The cabin sits in the perfect wooded location within distance to Higgins North or South Lake State Park and the hosts provide a very detailed book to help locate local vendors for any needs that could be required or needed on short notice. This home and the area will no doubt be a lifelong yearly vacation spot for our family.
