We had a great time and really loved that it was family friendly! Lots of toys for the little kids and dog. Lots of entertainment with video game machines and putt putt golf and comfy beds and furniture! Would recommend and stay in the future!

Place was even better than described. We had 14 people for family reunion and plenty of space for everyone. Both game rooms and the beautiful backyard and fireplace kept everyone busy. Would highly recommend. Sunrise and sunsets were breath taking.

The amenities at this property were wonderful. You can go fishing, go for a bike ride, mini golf, play arcade games, pool, fooseball, lots of board games were also provided. The bonfire area was also really nice with a lot of chairs. The waterfront was beautiful. Communication with Emily was helpful, quick, and attentive. However, there are a few negative drawbacks to this house that would make me not stay there again. The dishwasher does not seal properly and it seems that they may possibly know about it given there is zip ties in the drawer next to the dishwasher. They offered to have someone come by the following morning but we were there for a book club retreat and it was quiet in the house, I didn’t want workers in the house. It rained Saturday night while we were there and there were decent sized puddles that formed in an area in the basement. Again, an issue i believe they know about since there are dehumidifiers right near. We contacted Emily right away regarding it, as we just put towels down and mopped it up. It wasn’t bad, nor did it necessarily take away from our experience, it just seems like an issue they should take care of. There are not enough lamps in the house, no bedside table lamps in main bedrooms and none in the living room. No dimmer lighting either that made for a bright experience all the time if you wanted a light on. no blinds in the living room or kitchen. Not enough paper items either for a house that sleeps 16, even for a starter pack.

Awesome lake view and very nice house overall. Lots of activities between fishing and bonfires. Would highly recommend if looking to getaway with family and friends.

Our group of 12 adults stayed here for a golf trip, and it was absolutely perfect! The house had plenty of space for everyone to relax comfortably, and the amenities were top-notch. The location was ideal — short drive to a great golf course. The hosts were fantastic, super responsive, and made sure our stay was seamless from start to finish. Highly recommend this property for large groups — I’d definitely come back!

Sunset Shores Cabin literally has everything for entertaining and keeping the kids active. Perfect place to unplug and relax.

Stay started with a clogged shower, there is only two showers. Then ended with the septic tank backing up into the house and we had to pack up and leave the house in the middle of the night. The house has signs of this happening before. This house was just not designed for group after groups staying in it…or they could have the septic tank emptied every month. I asked for a refund of the one night we were unable to stay and only received half of that night.

Very nice place with tons of space for the group to spread out or be together. If you're coming with family, there are endless options for all ages.

Overall, this was a very good place to stay for our three-generation family! The house and garage had all the amenities and accessories you need for a lake vacation, including baby gear, games of all sorts, water craft, coffee bar and so much more. However, we were disappointed by the water quality (very murky, could only see about 6” down; this is not typical according to a neighbor, but likely due to recent very hot weather) and lack of beach/shallow access to the water for our young grandchildren (rocky shore, 3-4’ depth off the pier) - this was not clear from the pictures.

Perfect place for a large group of all ages! Emily was an amazing host and we highly recommend her house. There was so much to do, the house was clean and accommodating, and the outdoor scene was beautiful!

My friends and I (a group of 8 from Chicago) stayed at this beautiful home for a quick birthday escape, and it was exactly what I needed—peaceful, cozy, and absolutely stunning. The house provided the perfect space for us to relax, laugh, and truly enjoy being together.Though it was a bit chilly during our stay, we still got to enjoy some sunshine outside, and I can only imagine how amazing the outdoor space would be in the summer. The hosts were incredibly responsive and thoughtful, which made the experience even better.My only complaint? A day and a half just wasn’t enough. We checked in Friday evening and left Sunday morning, and I wish we had at least five days to really soak it all in. I’m already looking forward to returning—hopefully in warmer weather so we can take full advantage of everything the property has to offer.Highly recommend!

The house was clean, well-stocked, and provided a variety of spaces for us to gather together or take some time to sit quietly. We thoroughly enjoyed playing games inside of the house and in the garage. Emily is a wonderful host and is incredibly responsive.

Sunset Shores Cabin fulfilled our expectations. The view is amazing, - make sure you see a sunset - the accommodations were top notch, and the hostess was personable and went out of the way to make sure we enjoyed our stay. We were there for a Ladies Getaway, but would also be a great place for a Family or a Couples Retreat too.

The cabin met our every need beautifully. Plenty of space for our group and tons to do without having to even go outside! We made good use of the arcade machines, foosball, pool, and tables for lots of board games.

We only were in town two days with a large family. Now we all want to come back for a week long vacation! Scenery was beautiful and the home has all the toys, games and amenities you could need! So well thought out and comfortable!! All of us were majorly impressed.

Overall — the property had everything we needed. The fishing off the dock was GREAT, as one of us even caught a very large muskee right off of it! I do feel that the place looks a bit worse for wear, or hastily constructed, in a few areas (vinyl peeling off the ceiling of the outside porch, etc.,) but this didn’t affect the overall quality of our stay. My only suggestion would be a larger dining room table. Oh — and the host was SUPER responsive and SUPER helpful. 10/10 on that front!

A beautiful, updated cabin fully stocked with supplies and activities! Our family of 8 had plenty of space to relax and play. We were in need of nothing. Such fun amenities for the family to enjoy both inside and out. Very well cared for. Would love to go back year after year!

Sunset Shores Cabin provides you with everything you need for a getaway to the lake. Not only are there tons of games and activities, both indoors and outdoors, the house comes complete with everything you could possibly need except food and drinks. The house was clean and spacious for our entire family to spend a weekend relaxing and enjoying each other and what the house had to offer. Emily is very responsive and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend this house if you are looking for a getaway!

The house was awesome. It was full of fun areas and things to do. It was situated beautifully on Little Green Lake. We rented a boat and were able to dock right up to the house and load up. It was super clean and organized inside, and all guests were able to get a comfy bed. Would definitely stay again or recommend to friends and family.

My husband I booked this house for us and 9 other family members for 6 days. We wanted to do some fishing and relaxing. The house was beautiful and clean and very well stocked!! Every detail was well thought out by the owners. We have rented a lot of homes thru VRBO and this one has been one of the best! We rented a pontoon for the week and having the dock and being so close to the water was perfect! We enjoyed the games provided in the evenings. And the kitchen was planty spacious for the family. Our only recommendations would be a half bath in the basement (if it is even possible.) And a place out back for washing up and cleaning fish. Other than that, perfection!

We had a relaxing and fun family trip! There are plenty of activities to keep everyone happy, or you can just sit and look at the lake. The house was clean with plenty of space for everyone to have some privacy.

Our family of six had a wonderful vacation at Sunset Shores! The property was beautiful, very clean, and stocked with all the amenities we wanted plus many, many more! We thoroughly enjoyed kayaking and fishing. Emily was professional and quick to respond to questions. We would definitely stay again!

This house had everything you need for a great vacation! We were traveling with four teenagers who were never bored. We took advantage of everything - kayaks, pool table, games, multiple TVs, etc. Husband loved all of the fishing gear and caught multiple fish right off the dock. Kitchen well stocked with everything we needed. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. We loved watching the sunsets from the dock on screened in porch. Very quiet lake. Overall a great time!
