Stayed Apr 12, 2026My girlfriend and I had a great time staying at Falcon’s Perch. The roads leading to the cabin are windy and adventurous, but definitely do-able in a 2WD if you’re concerned. We were at first, but the property manager, Rachel, was very understanding, reassuring and promptly answered every question we had. Overall the cabin is very clean and smells fresh and perfect with an amazing bed and a very hot shower. But the bottom of the shower curtain could have used some cleaning before we arrived and the property has other cabins and buildings that are either being worked on, or are unfinished, with pieces of debris scattered around the area such as insulation and broken pieces of wood that lead into our back porch view. We would stay here again and do recommend because of how secluded and nice the experience was, but would hope these few things would be taken care of the next time.

Stayed Oct 27, 2025I was on a road trip visiting family and friends in NC from New Orleans. This was the perfect glamping cozy cabin. Exactly what I needed for 2 nights after camping in the cold! The owners are very responsive and the listing is accurate. The heater was so good I had to turn it down and the bed was incredibly cozy, perfect for solo travelers or couples. I will definitely be back, the grounds they're working on renovating right now seem like the perfect family weekend or girl trips to the woods with your own individual cabins. Wifi is slow but you shouldn't need it when you're looking for an escape so I wouldn't say thats a huge loss. I have AT&T and texting was fine, but calls were spotty which is normal anywhere in the mountains. The view is amazing and so many birds!
