Stayed Apr 13, 2026The property is beautiful and fully accommodated as listed! We stayed a week, the host reached out midway just to check in and make sure our stay was going well and we appreciated that! Check in/check out was very easy. Highly recommend staying here, especially if you love to explore the lake. Lake access was available, plenty of hiking nearby the property as well. Very clean and welcoming home. We hope to stay here again & bring the kids next time!

Stayed Mar 27, 2026Really enjoyed sitting on the beautiful deck and taking in the lovely Ozark mountains. It was very isolated and peaceful. The property was well-maintained and had some nice finishes. I would say that it is not pet friendly -- very steep terrain, with no space for dogs due to the rocks and steep incline. Also, ticks seemed abundant. We had some issues with critters making their way into the walls which made for some noisy nights. The owner stated that it is a constant battle, but animals seemed to be doing some severe damage with the gnawing and digging. Though it is in the Ozarks after all, so I guess that could be expected. The people in Fairfield Bay were very friendly and we enjoyed playing pickleball with them. Overall a pleasant experience.
