Fabulous Mountain Modern Cabin Close to Bear Resort & National Forest Sleeps 8

The views are great. It was a warm and welcoming space. The hot tub, Sauna and game room were all lovely and as advertised. Very clean, and just a relaxing space. Loved the little touches in the upstairs fireplace and lamp. My recommendation would to either bring extra towels for the hot tub or possibly the home owner could add additional ones for that purpose. All around it was a great stay and I would definitely book it again.

The place was very clean, organized, and accommodating! Every appliance and amenity was modern and luxurious. Everything worked as expected. Attention to detail in the home was amazing! Can’t say enough about this place, would highly recommend. The view of Bear was perfect to watch the big jump. Sauna after a long day on the mountain was the highlight!

Our family had a fantastic stay! The house is beautiful, fully updated, very clean, and well-stocked. Some of the high points: Great view of Bear Mountain. New jacuzzi on the upper deck (with high-power jets!). Private sauna accessible from bedrooms. Very short drive to Bear Mountain and 12 minutes to Snow Summit. The oversized game room is perfect for family fun with large TV, various board games, arcade games, a kitchenette, etc. Very clean. Excellent communication with the owner. Easy to follow rules and check out process. One of our best VRBO experiences yet. We are looking forward to coming back for another ski trip next year.

Our group had a truly incredible stay. This cabin was recently remodeled and felt brand new from top to bottom, including all of the appliances. Steve was a great host, we had one small issue come up with one of the TVs that we messaged him about and he called right away to help us get it fixed. Would highly recommend this cabin!

This cabin is even better than the pictures! It is very modern with smart lights and heating everywhere. The kitchen is a joy to use, and there are many thoughtful pantry staples. This was the best place we've stayed in Big Bear.

This place is top notch with all the amenities and the view of the mountains was stunning. Absolutely would come back again.

The proximity to Bear Mountain is what drew us to the property, but the beautifully appointed home and generous amenities made for a spectacular stay.

Our family with 2 young boys ages 6 and 8 stayed for a week at this beautiful house. It had all the comforts of home and more. My husband and I were very impressed with how smart the house was with the state-of-the-art appliances and technology. We usually have to bring our own Fire TV when we come to Big Bear, but not here! The TVs were already set up with streaming services and were so easy to use (just one remote unlike some places). We have Ecobees at home as well so that made keeping the temperature comfy the whole stay very easy. The kids loved the Game Room with the old school arcade games and foosball table. I especially liked how the kitchens were fully-stocked with complimentary snacks and condiments and everything we could possibly need. Steve was always quick to respond to any questions we had and also on top of letting us know about any possible disruptions (snow plow schedule, etc.). The hot tub and dry sauna were so nice after a morning of snowboarding with the kids. All the furnishings and carpet were brand new. The little Easter Eggs around the house were fun for the kids. Location can't be beat! I can't say enough good things about this rental. We will stay here every time we come back to Big Bear if it's available. The kids refuse to stay anywhere else! This house is lovely and was the perfect setting for a great ski weekend at Bear Mountain and Snow Summit. It is newly remodeled and had all the latest amenities including a spa jacuzzi, touchless toilets, huge televisions, two kitchens, a game room, two fireplaces, and more. We arrived at night while it was snowing and I was impressed that the house was ready for our arrival -- the heater was on, lights were on and the parking area was well lit for arrival. We immediately unpacked the cars and headed to the kitchen to make a late dinner. We brought our own groceries and we found everything we needed to prepare and serve a large meal (pots, pans, utensils, rice maker, coffee maker, etc). The kitchen has an ample amount of seating for every guest. There is also a half bath upstairs which is very convenient. The spa jacuzzi is upstairs on the deck and we enjoyed going for a relaxing dip right after skiing and watching the last skiers make it down Bear Mountain at the end of the day. The view is gorgeous. The bedrooms are located downstairs along with a huge game room, kitchen, and laundry for the teens to hang out while the adults are upstairs in the main living room. The beds are comfortable and have cozy bedding and extra blankets for snuggling at night. The downstairs bathrooms are perfectly decorated, with nice water pressure and heating. I especially loved the easter-eggs the owner placed around the living area. I won't spoil where they are located but it added a special touch for all of us to enjoy and my teenagers thought it was pretty cool (we love Star Wars!) I highly recommend this property for a ski weekend. The owner spared no expense in creating an up-to-date ski lodge with a homey feel. Well done and thanks so much!!
