Truly a five star experience from booking to departure! Karen, our hostess, was easy to contact and a wealth of information.Photos are accurate, but don't really do the cabin and property justice! Ample parking, spacious interior, well stocked, beautifully decorated...I usually try to add the little negatives for a truly balanced review, but in this case I honestly can't think of a single one. The hot tub overlooking the river was wonderful! We look forward to returning!

access to property was easy, front door appears to be somewhat damaged. The hot tub was a little tricky to figure out, but we alternately did. The facilities are nice and well kept except the downstairs shower in the basement doesn’t drain well and showe doesn’t work properly. Everything else was great! The river access is beautiful, and the fire pit was a wonderful addition for making s’mores. We would love to come back.

Our family of 11 ages 3-73 had a fantastic time . The place was everything they said it was . We'd drop off the kids a mile or so up river at Tie Creek and they'd float to our private beach or go further and call and set a location and we'd go pick them up . It's very shallow . We had tubes and paddle boards. The National Forest is maybe a 1/2 mile up the road behind the cabin . I believe if you had gravel bikes you'd like it . Inside it's very roomy and everyone spent time downstairs playing pool or foosball . Plenty of sleeping areas for us so we did not have to use the two fold out couches . We really had a wonderful time . We treated the kids to a professional 1/2 day white water raft trip out of Bear Valley rafting right there at Banks . They took good care of them. They had a blast!

This is a fabulous cabin located just an hour and a half from Boise on the Payette River. It has a great property to explore. It’s not difficult to get to, so that’s a plus. The little town of Crouch is fun to explore and has a pretty nice supermarket too.We didn’t see any actual bigfoot(s) but plenty of representation around the neighborhood. It’s a beautiful, fun area and the house is great!

The cabin was great, as always. The only disappointments were that there was too much smoke from the forest fires, and we weren't able to have an outdoor fire. Also, the flush valve in the main floor toilet allows a small amount of water to be wasted. We all still had a great time.

Enjoy the home, we have stayed several times. At the end of the day when everyone is relaxing after a full day, perhaps wanting to watch a movie, check messages, play a game, the internet is not very good. This trip the hot tub had to be drained and cleaned, one quest broke out with a rash, I personally had a rash and itching, don't know if it was the clorine/chemicals used to clean the hot tub, never before had a problem.

Very well stocked home - everything we needed. 8 and 10 year-old grandsons loved the video consoles. The adults loved the pool table. Beautiful surroundings, lovely hot tub, great river access, and we appreciated that the deck had closeable gates to keep dogs and/or little ones (we didn't have any) in safely. Fabulous stay!

As usual, we love this cabin! It fits our needs totally as we have 11 people. This is where we go for our annual mountain trip. We only missed one year and I believe that was because of Covid. Other than that one year, it was every year since 2008. The addition of the downstairs bathroom really was nice and updating things here and there. This year had a few surprises such as a blackout. We couldn't find any emergency box so did the best we could for most of the evening and into the wee hours of the next day. Also, the toaster went kaput…that was interesting as everyone wanted toast. With that being said, all you have to do is call Karen and you know it will be taken care of. I am not sure we will be able to go back to this cabin next year as we are all getting older and more fragile and it's harder to manage all the stairs and also getting down to the river safely. Gee I remember the earlier trips where we brought tubes and floated down the river. Such fun memories!! Great place and great fun!!!
