Frenchburg, Kentucky
Charming cabin in the heart of Daniel Boone National Forest. Our cabin is centrally located in the middle of Red river Gorge-Natural Bridge area, Cave Run Marina (main marina for rentals), two ATV Parks, Mt. Sterling and Morehead, KY. We are two miles from Cave Run Lake and Long Bow Marina. Our fully furnished cabin has two full rooms each equipped with own gas fireplace (one with remote), couch, sleeping quarters, cable tv and wi-fi internet. Enjoy a new 'screened in porch we call our 'Resort room', with a nautical theme and new (2021) Nordic hot tub with' 'massage jets', and whirlpool function.
We just added the resort style screened in porch which adds a unique dimension to getting away. You can enjoy the outdoors without the rain, sleet or snow hindering your enjoyment of the hot tub, surfing the net, dining, bringing most desired activities you do inside the cabin to the outside undisturbed. Cook out on our all new park style charcoal grill with cement pad in a bed of river rock then chill enjoying a good meal in the comfort of your private 'Resort room'. We have 'Barley' the over 11ft friendly bear who loves getting his picture taken. Twin Knobs has a lake beach and a "private vendor", who rents our kayaks and canoes. Cave Run Marina rents out Pontoon, fishing and paddle boats on a 10 mile lake. Red River Gorge offers horseback riding , ziplining, a Sky-lift, rock climbing, caving, trade shops and eateries etc...
We have Amish furniture and bed, extra nice decor ( Cuckoo Clocks throughout), satellite TV, firepit and cabin that is fully furnished; for a more than satisfying experience. (We have a security camera at the front and side entrance for the safety of the property and guest).

The property is secluded, the kitchen has everything you would need to use while cooking, and the property owner was very helpfun! The cabin was clean and stocked with pillows and blankets. Just need to take your own towels.
We enjoyed our stay in this quiet cabin. The property owner was easy to communicate with and the cabin was just as described. I would recommend for anyone who wants a quiet, secluded get-a-way, out of the mainstream of the hustle and bustle.
This was a lovely, well stocked cabin. I especially appreciated there were a good quantity of towels. We used the hot tub several times and the towels were a necessity! Comfy quilts and a GREAT patio.
The cabin was beautiful inside and out, very homey feeling. Phil was amazing at meeting our needs and wants, and easy to talk to. Was an amazing experience all the way around.
My wife and I were in town for the weekend with our border collie to relax and do some hiking. This spot was perfect for us and our dog with the hot tub being on the HUGE screen porch. We loved how quiet and secluded it was.
Cabin was exactly as advertised. Cozy and felt like home as soon as we walked in! All the special touches were very much appreciated. The cabin was neat and cleqn. Well stocked with everything we needed. Owners had a special gift for us. That was very thoughtful. Relaxing on the screened in porch and in the hot tub after a long day of recreation was very pleasurable. We highly recommended booking this cabin. The owners were easy to work with and were very helpful with area information of things to do with our teenage grandsons. We had a great long weekend vacation.
Had a great time and we were pleasantly surprised with entire cabin. Clean, comfortable, and very relaxing. Loved the decor in this cabin. Lots of detail and personality which gave such a relaxing atmosphere. Would love to come back again!
The cabin was so cozy! We loved the quilts and felt so comfy here! We only wish the bbq stove had a lid to hold the heat in. But honestly, this was a very nice place and we can tell that the people who own it put a lot of love in this place. Wish we could have stayed longer!
The cabin was nice. Very quiet. Will stay again if an opportunity arises.
Came here for a relaxing weekend with my boyfriend and dogs. The cabin is beautiful and close to stores but still private. Owner has great communication and is very kind
This was a great place for a quiet weekend getaway. Owner is very friendly and very easy to communicate with.
Was very clean and nice. Sitting out by fire or in hot tub was very relaxing.
This is our second time staying hear. This cabin is truly a hidden gem. It’s quiet. Peaceful. Relaxing. A perfect weekend get away. The screened in wrap around porch is amazing. We loved having our morning coffee out there. The host goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. We would give it 10 stars if we could!
Owners is great to work with, cabin is very relaxing. Great weekend.
This place was everything we wanted, peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing..we definitely want to go back someday ❤
We enjoy our stay but some of the pictures made it seem that it would overlook water and of course it wasn’t even close to water. Also the cob webs in and around were a turn off. Phil the owner was a nice man to deal with. But we would never stay there again.
We had a great time at the property. Hiking was disappointing as the trails nearest by were either closed or too overgrown to go on with our small dog but on the last day we rented a pontoon at Scott Creek Marina and had a blast! Definitely recommend that as the lake is so beautiful but reserve early because they book out quickly. Communication with the host was easy and property was clean and very secluded. No other homes in sight. Very quiet. Resort room with the hot tub was the best after a day out!
The cabin is perfect for a long weekend get away, but not more time than that. The cabin itself is very clean and comfortable, but near nothing and a little hard to get to.
First off, Phil is an amazing property manager. Very kind and informative, prompt to reply to any questions we had, and overall a stellar person. His cozy cabin is perfect for a quiet relaxed weekend, local to the national parks and their gorgeous trails and lakes(you NEED to go to the parks). The hot tub was very relaxing after a long day of hiking, and the resort room was amazing to spend the evening in to enjoy the nature and wildlife. Highly recommended!
Fantastic place for a quiet weekend getaway. Close to the lake and hiking.
We stayed over Memorial Day Weekend for my wife’s birthday. We enjoyed a relaxing weekend away to unplug. The property is clean and quiet. We spent mornings and evenings in the hot tub. The property is close to the lake which made it easy to launch our paddle boards. If you’re looking for a place to get away for a little while, we definitely recommend this cabin and we would stay again.
We loved the cabin. It was perfect for our stay. The hot tub and resort room were great! We may need to come back with the kids, there is plenty of room. We saw deer, bunnies and wild turkeys in the yard! The kitchenis very well stocked with everything we needed to make a full meal. Great communication with the owner Phil, he was very responsive and left us with no questions, plenty of suggestions for things to do and places to eat with maps and directions. Definitely recommend and we will be back!
